Fearfully And Wonderfully Made (Psalm 139:14)

You are unique.

Psalm 139:15 (NKJV) “My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret and skilfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.”
Long before you were born, you were already conceived in the Mind of God. Maybe you were unplanned by your parents, but not by God. He gave you your natural talents and your personality. Always remember you are unique and loved by God.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Before your burden overcomes you. Trust God to put His arms underneath you.

Jesus is considered by scholars such as Weber ...

Before your burden overcomes you, trust God to put His arms underneath you.

Have you ever been in so much despair that you felt as if you were sinking in deep water? The difficulties of life can be oppressive. God doesn’t promise that we will escape the turbulent seas of life, but He does promise, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews. 13:5).

We can trust our faithful Father to be there in all of our struggles. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you” (Isaiah. 43:2).

God, give me the faith of a little child!
A faith that will look to Thee—
That never will falter and never fail,
But follow Thee trustingly,

In Jesus Christ Name I pray, Amen!

“For there is One God and One Mediator between God and mankind, The Man Christ
Jesus, Who gave Himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed
to at the proper time.”
1 Timothy 2:5-6

A Thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all round you, but you will not be harmed (Psalm 91:7)

“Let your aim be certain and he dies,” the chief commanded. The Indian warriors took aim and fired at the last remaining officer on horseback. Round after round after round screamed toward him. Twice they shot his horse out from underneath him. Four bullets tore through his coat. Over 700 of his comrades fell around him. They retreated in utter defeat. Yet the 23 year old lieutenant colonel remained unscathed, not a single mark on his skin.
Nine days later he wrote his brother, “…by the all-powerful dispensations of Providence I have been protected beyond all human probability or expectation….”
Thirty-four more years passed and this same George Washington became the first president of the United States of America after defeating the mightiest army on the face of the planet with a band of poorly disciplined soldiers who spent most of the war retreating from the enemy.
Is it any wonder he placed his hand on a Bible opened to Deuteronomy chapter 28 when he was first sworn into office? As he looked back at his own life he clearly understood that a sovereign God rules over the affairs of men and nations.
Do you sometimes think it’s all up to you? Do you ever wonder if God is really in control? How do you think George Washington would have answered this question?

Your View of God Really Matters …

When you face daunting circumstances and the panic begins to rise in your throat and your pulse quickens, what do you do first:

a) Freeze?
b) Redouble your efforts?
c) Acknowledge that God is in control?

Your response says everything about how you really view God.

Because God is Sovereign, I will joyfully submit to His Will.

Homesick For Heaven

Homesick for Heaven

Longing For Home

During Christ‘s ministry on earth, He had no home. He once said, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head” (Matthew 8:20). Those who for Christ’s sake had given up houses and lands and loved ones knew little of home life or home joys. It was as if Jesus had said to them: “We have no lasting home here on earth, but my Father’s house is a home where we will be together for all eternity.”

Amid all the changes that sooner or later will come to break up the earthly home, we have the promise of a home where Christ’s followers will remain forever. The Bible teaches, “Here have we no continuing city, but we seek the one to come” (Hebrews 13:14). The Bible says, concerning Abraham, that he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:10).

Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, “Thus we shall always be with the Lord.” Our permanent home is not here on earth. Our permanent home is Heaven. Sometimes when things do not go right down here, we get homesick for Heaven. Many times in the midst of the sin, suffering and sorrow of this life, there is a tug at our soul. That is homesickness coupled with anticipation. You may be lying on a hospital bed today, you may be suffering from terrible disease or financial loss or bereavement, and there is a tug in your heart. You are longing for home. You are longing for Heaven.

Prayer

Lord, even now, we feel a yearning in our hearts for home—and nothing on earth can quench it. Thank You for giving us the promise of an eternal home in Heaven after we’ve walked through life with Jesus. We pray in Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Come Now And Let Us Reason Together Says The LORD

God will wash you clean!

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith The LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1:18)

This scripture is undoubtedly one of the most touching statements ever recorded in the Bible. God pleads with His children to allow Him cleanse them of their sins and iniquities. You see, that you’re a Christian doesn’t mean you wouldn’t make any mistakes. You could make mistakes, but what you need to know is that the blood of Jesus is available to wash you from every wrong. It’s available to purify your heart. This is the Gospel!

You don’t have to remain in your sin. There’s the cleansing blood from the Calvary. It’s still working and you can be purified. “If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ The Righteous” (1 John 2:1). Believe in the Jesus Christ today! He was offered up for your offenses and raised for your justification. He takes responsibility for all your mistakes, all your sins, everything you’ve ever done wrong and will ever do wrong; He takes responsibility for them all. So, you can keep running the faith race without getting weighed down by the load and guilt of sin.

If you’ve committed sin and you know it, obtain forgiveness. There’s a shelf on the way as you’re running the faith race; pick up your forgiveness! Don’t stop and start digging for your sins; don’t let anything stop you from living the good life God pre-arranged for you to live. If you’ve been crying because you did something wrong, God says He has seen your tears; He’s accepting your crying. So, stop blaming yourself because that will only weaken your faith.

The blood of Jesus Christ can purge your conscience – the voice of your human spirit – from every dead works and set you aright to serve the living God (Hebrews 9:13-14). What you need is to believe in that Blood Of The Lamb! Believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That’s The Gospel! Forgiveness of sin for the believer is just as powerful as remission of sin for the sinner. Your sin will not determine what you become, for sin has been judged in Christ Jesus!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father!

I thank You because the blood of Jesus Christ guarantees my salvation and total deliverance from sin. I rejoice because I know I serve a God who loves me and sent His precious Son to die for me on account of my sins, thereby absolving me of every guilt and judgement of sin both now and forever, in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

If You Feel God Has Wronged You, Please Forgive Him

If You Feel God Has Wronged You, Please Forgive Him

Memorize: The LORD says:”What accusation did your ancestors bring against me? What made them turn away from me?” (Jeremiah 2:5)

Read: Jeremiah 2:2-5

But this is what I have against you: you do not love me now as you did at first” (Revelations 2:4). What was wrong in the church at Ephesus may appear mild to many today, but to the LORD, it is most grievous. The church continued with their works and activities but left behind the only thing capable of giving meaning to their works – Love. According to 1 Corinthians 13:13, any good deed that is done outside of love erodes the goodness of it and renders the deed as unprofitable. Is love the basis of your works? Why are you serving God? Is it because you want Him to deliver, save, heal or reward you? Any service you render to God’s Kingdom outside genuine love for the Master, is unprofitable.

If there is love in your heart, you will be motivated to express it in an act of goodness. Love propels action. The Spirit of love has a way of stirring the fire in you. If you have lost the fire, whatever you do will be mechanical. Leaving your first love amounts to undoing your foundation. If the foundation is destroyed, whatever is placed on it will surely crumble. Today, many people have eroded the foundation of their Christian service. If this describes you, repent and return to the Lord. Humbly ask for the return of your first love.

In our lives, the LORD is longing for a return to how things used to be in your Christian walk. In Jeremiah 2:25,   the once cordial relationship between God and the nation of Israel turned sour and God had to ask: “What did I do wrong to deserve this? In the same way, the LORD is asking you today, “What is my offence that made you jilt me?” you once hated hypocrisy, covetousness and lies. But today you take lies as jokes. You once feared God, your heart was so tender and spiritually sensitive, but today, nothing pricks your conscience. It has become almost as dead as a door nail. What you could not venture even in your thoughts, you now freely do. What has God done to deserve this? Are you fair to God going by the way you are treating Him? Where is your first love? Ask God to help you restore the lost spirit of love.

Action Point:

If you feel God has wronged you, please forgive Him. But if you carefully examine the situation prayerfully, you will find God is never wrong!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Memory Verse: “Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed,” 1 Corinthians 15:51

Text: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

INTRODUCTION:

The second coming of Christ prophesied by Daniel in Daniel 7:13 is a sound biblical fact. This return shall be in two stages. The first, “being like a thief in the night” to receive unto Himself His church. This is popularly called The Rapture.

May the Holy Spirit Himself guide us into all truth, in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

WHAT IS THE RAPTURE?

The word, Rapture, is not found anywhere in the Bible although it is used describe this great upcoming and memorable event. The rapture is the sudden catching up or sudden disappearance of holy and faithful saints from the earth to meet with our LORD and Saviour in the air. It is also referred to as the translation or translocation of believers – 1 Thess. 4:16-17; 1 Cor. 15:51-58. Examples of such translation in the Old Testament are; Enoch Genesis 5:22-24; Hebrews 11:5 and Elijah – 2 Kings 2:11. It shall be as sudden as the twinkling of an eye – 1 Corinthians 15:52.

WHEN WILL THE RAPTURE TAKE PLACE?

The exact timing of the occurrence of the rapture is not known Matthew 24:42, 44; Matthew 25:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:6. We, however, know that it shall precede the tribulation – 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 5:9; 2 Thessalonians 2:12.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT THE RAPTURE?

The following are to be expected at the rapture:

  1. The trumpet of God shall sound – 1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16.
  2. The dead in Christ shall rise first – John 5:25; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; 1 Corinthians 15:23.
  3. Saints which are alive shall be “caught up” to meet our LORD in the air – 1 Thessalonians 4:17; 1 Corinthians 15:51.
  4. The dead in Christ and saints who are left shall have glorified or immortal bodies and live forever – 1 Corinthians 15:52; Philippians 3:20-21; Colossians 3:4; 1 John 3:2.
  5. There shall be extraordinary chaos here on earth – 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3; Matthew 24:40-41.

HOW WILL IT HAPPEN?

  1. It shall happen suddenly – 1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 5:3; Matthew 24:36-41.
  2. The power of God shall make all saints’ bodies immortal – Philippians 3:21.
  3. Sudden chaos.

CONCLUSION:

The greatest calamity that could befall anyone who claims to be a believer is to be left behind after the rapture. Our Lord Jesus Christ warned us to be alert and ready! Mark 13:32-37.

Are you ready?

A person is made right with God through faith

If you’re trying to save yourself—you never know for sure about anything.

If you’ve hurt enough.  Wept enough.  Learned enough.  Those who’re trying to save themselves promote themselves.

Those saved by works display works.

Those saved by suffering unveil scars.

And those saved by doctrine—well—you got it.  They wear their doctrines on their sleeves.

Dare you stand before God and ask him to save you because of your suffering or your sacrifice or your tears or your study?

Neither do I.  Nor did Paul.

Good works, suffering, or study may be the result of salvation, they’re not the cause of it!

How will you escape God’s judgment?  One way:  through faith in God’s sacrifice.

It’s not what you do—it’s what He did!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Fellowshipping In Love

Fellowshipping In Love

Acts 19:23

“And about that time there arose a great commotion about the Way.”
NKJV

The people of Ephesus either loved Paul or hated Paul. Why? Paul had a holy restlessness, a stirring in his heart that drove him to great lengths to share the Gospel message. It is important we understand that Christianity is not just about getting along with everybody. All of us are individually gifted and crafted for a unique purpose, but it doesn’t end there. If we do not use our gifts, it profits no one. In the same way, if our relationship with one another does not transform us, it’s not much of a relationship. Ministry changes people. It puts people together in situations that are often uncomfortable and stretches us in ways that we never thought possible. It causes us to drop our masks and be honest with one another.

Hebrews 10:24 “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.”

We are to think about one another, and how we can love and encourage one another. We are to stir up (incite or provoke) love and good works in one another. This is not always going to be comfortable, and it is not always going to be received in the way that we intended. Maybe that’s why the very next verse in Hebrews reads,

Hebrews 10:25 “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”

I find it interesting that the verse telling us to stir up love and good works in one another is followed by a verse telling us to stay in fellowship. Why? Well, sometimes we can be offended by another’s encouragement. We’ve been chugging along thinking we’re doing great and then someone offers a word of encouragement that stirs us up. In a huff, we leave the fellowship. One of the resources God has provided for meeting our needs is other believers. When we sacrifice fellowship for comfort, we’re like an antelope separated from the herd. Suddenly, it’s not a question of ‘if’ we will be attacked, but ‘when’ we will be attacked.

Life Lesson: Ministry stirs things up.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You so much for the family that You have placed around me. Please give me a burden for the lost. Give me a burden to minister and encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ. Please take away any fear I have of doing this, and forgive me for the times when I have neglected to do this. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Say Yes To God ( A Mother’s Love)

Read:   Acts 10:9-16

Memorize:  “when He has brought them out, He goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow Him, because they know His voice” (John 10:4)

The one God loves has to grapple with certain tough challenges. As the last born of my mother, I was her favourite. While other children were playing, she would compel me to sit and read my books. Sometimes, I would remind her that all the other children were playing, but she would reply that all the others were not her business. I thought she was too strict with me but today, I have reasons to thank God for my strict mother. Ephesians 5:1-7 says if you are one of God’s own, you should not indulge in sins like fornication, uncleanness, foolish talking, etc, not even for once! In other words, other so-called Christians may be doing it but you cannot afford to follow their evil steps. There are certain things some pastors and church leaders would do and God would appear to be quiet about it, yet, if some believers attempted such, they would receive a bashing from the LORD. It shows how much God loves such a believer. If God no more corrects you, you might have reached a point of no return or be on the way to becoming irrelevant to God.

As a believer of God, you must learn to say “YES LORD” to all of God’s instructions. Quite a number of people have lost opportunities for starting large ministries due to their refusal to say, “YES LORD”. God is not static. When Heaven moves, it takes those who can drop their old beliefs and dogmas to move to the next level with Him. One major change ever experienced was the movement from the Old Testament to the New Testament. While most of the leaders in the synagogue resisted change and stuck to the Mosaic Law, others who embraced the change became born-again, and began to enjoy the grace and truth that the LORD brought. Do you say “Yes” or “No” to the promptings of the Spirit? Yield to Him today!

Key Point:

When God wants something from you, what He expects to hear is, “Yes, LORD”. What is your response today? Always say yes to Him!

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” (Proverbs 28:20)

No matter the job or business you do, don’t let your utmost motivation stem from how much money you desire to make. Rather, be motivated by the dream of service; be inspired to serve! The Bible says a faithful man shall abound with blessings; that means he’ll surely prosper. A faithful man is a man that serves. If you’re a wife, mother, grandmother, politicians, student, civil servant, civil right leader, policeman, business man or business woman, let serving people be your dream. Become people and service – conscious.

God is more mindful and concerned about people than anything else. So, when you’re concerned about serving people through your work, God will be concerned about your success and prosperity – everything you do will prosper. Greed is what has stopped many from serving their nation and people the way they should. The undue ambition for gain and inordinate desire to amass wealth is an enemy of success; never let it rule your life.

As Christians we’ve been called to service; of both God and mankind. Be inspired by the importance of your job or business for the betterment of society. Don’t let the desire to have things be your driving force in life. Daisy Osborne said, “Work on being and not on having; for with what you are, you will have.” Don’t try to have cars, money, a vast estate or business empire; don’t try to have anything! Become something first and you will have.

The question you should always ask yourself is “Who am I? What have I made out of myself? How have I invested in my personality to make myself relevant and indispensable to my world?”  That’s what you need to do; investing in your personality to make you needed, relevant and indispensable to your generation. That’s the mentality of a service – conscious person.

PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father!

I pray for increased grace and wisdom to serve You and at the same time be relevant to my generation. I ask that by Your Spirit, You help me affect my world and impact everyone I meet with the investment of my personality, in Jesus Christ Name I pray, Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Live Forever In Him

The Transfiguration Lodovico Carracci 1594

LIVE FOREVER IN HIM

John 11:26 “And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

JOHN 11:26

Some people have interpreted this as saying that it is possible to never die. Therefore, there are people today who are believing that they will live physically until the second coming of Jesus, even if that is thousands of years away. Although it is understandable how someone could interpret this verse in that manner, it is very doubtful that this is what Jesus truly meant.

First, a doctrine as profound as this would certainly be well documented in other scriptures. Other scriptures may sometimes be quoted as supporting this claim but they would not lead a person to this conclusion by themselves.

There would already have to be a prejudice in favor of this stand within a person to lead him to interpret these scriptures in this light. That is not a sound method of Bible interpretation. Also, there is not a single scriptural example of anyone who obtained this. That should make anyone suspect of this teaching. Enoch or Elijah might be cited as examples, but they were translated so that they didn’t die. They are not still in their physical bodies on this earth.

There have been periods in church history where certain truths were suppressed, such as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit or healing, and then revived through a move of God. But there was always a remnant of the church that continually experienced these blessings of God. That cannot be shown to be true with this belief that a believer can remain on the earth in his physical body until Jesus comes. Therefore, this passage of scripture concerning never dying is generally accepted as referring to our eternal life that we receive at salvation. The promise of never dying spiritually is made many times in scripture and it is promised to every believer.

Carrying the Cross

“Anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.”

Luke 14:27, NIV

Imagine what it would have been like to be Simon, and to have carried the Cross of Christ while following Him up Calvary.

What would it have been like to have shared in the humiliation of rejection as He was cast out of the city?

What would it have been like to have felt the sticky warmth of His blood from the Cross on your skin?

What would it have been like to have felt the encroaching horror as the place of execution neared?

What would it have been like to have looked up through the sweat that trickled down your face, and seen the executioners who stood waiting impassively with hammers in hand?

What would it have been like to have the burden of the Cross

lifted from your back as someone said, “This is His Cross; you’re free to go now,” and He was nailed to it, not you?

Blessings

Sermon By Pastor E A Adeboye RCCG 60th Annual RCCG Convention.  Come Up Higher – THAT I MAY KNOW HIM

Topic: THAT I MAY KNOW HIM

Text: Philippians 3 v 7- 11

Paul said I want to know Him. Knowledge is power and ignorance is

destruction. The word of God says my people are destroyed for lack

of knowledge. When Paul who is an apostle says he wants to know Jesus,

where do you stand?

There are many aspects to the life and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ;

there is the aspect of Him as the Saviour, there is the aspect of Him

as the Healer and there is the aspect of Him as the Deliverer.

What aspect of Him did Paul wants to know? I think he is interested in the

aspect of Jesus Christ as the Truth. He wanted to know more about the

truth.

So we will be talking about the truth here tonight, even though the truth

can be bitter.

There are three levels of truths:

First. The basic truth, Secondary truth and thirdly a little bit of the higher truth.

Basic truth: Nothing goes for nothing.

The bible tells us clearly that salvation is free, but salvation is free only because someone pays for it 1 John 1 v 7.

Divine healing is free; but someone paid the price.

Nothing goes for nothing, that is the pure basic truth. It is possible never to be sick again, in the year of jubilee.

You can receive your healing and never be sick again. It is possible to enjoy prosperity for the rest of your life

according to Deuteronomy 28 v 11 – 12.

Secondary truth: There are two powerful forces controlling life; one is called curse, the other is called blessing.

They both determine what happen to a man.

What is cause? a curse is an invitation to all forces to work against someone Genesis 29 v 1 4.

When someone who is under a curse, everything he touches fails and curse flows down like a river.

If it is pronounced on one man, God have mercy on the children. You can ask the people of Jericho 2 kings 2 v 19.

The other force is Blessing; a blessing is a summon to all forces to support somebody and make sure he succeeds.

When somebody is blessed, every door he knocks opens.

In Genesis 27: 26- 29 there you see Isaac blessing Jacob. When someone is blessed nobody can stop him,

a blessing can pick the younger and make him superior to the older Genesis 28: 1- 13, Deuteronomy 33 v 17.

When you are blessed, enemy that comes before you will fall before you.

You will be head and not tail. If there is anything you need from your parent before they die, is their blessings:

because Money can finish but blessings open doors.

Higher level truth: The year jubilee is the year of release, it is the year of restitution but we want to hear about

healing, power, prosperity but not restitution.

Whatever you get that is not yours must be restored. Galatians 6 v 7 whatever you sow you shall reap.

2Coritians 5 v 6, Matthew 13 v 3 -9. If you sow wind you will reap whirlwind.

The year of jubilee does not mean when you sow you won’t reap.   2 Samuel v 1-12. It is only one way to avoid evil

that you have planted and that is if you go to where you plant it and uproot it.

If you think that seed you sow is gone, then you don’t even know the basics law of agriculture. That which you

sow is waiting in the future unless you can restitute your way 2 Corinthians 11 v 22 – 25.

I will tell you this story, several years ago around 1961, I was a teacher in a particular village, there was a man

who is very tough, when you are passing in front of his house you must be careful, and he has only one daughter.

One day six boys raped his daughter till she fainted, when he came they told him what happened. People where

waiting for him to act. He asked if his my daughter was alive, they said the girl was alive, what will he do about it,

he said nothing. He said he is only reaping what he sowed, that when he was young he raped a girl.

Do you have any money you stole, or manoeuvre return it back otherwise it will destroy your good works.

If you think because nobody sees you, the evil will be forgotten, you are deceiving yourself.

There is something that is not yours that is in your possession, go and restitute to enjoy the year of jubilee

You took somebody else wife and brought it in your life Genesis12 v 11-20.

Many of us think that we can treat restitution as something trivial, it is not so. Read Mal 3 v 3 – 10

The Almighty God is a merciful God, God is supreme and he will do what he said he would do provided you follow

his principle. Blessings can be reversed, I can show you several people who got blessed and then they forgot God

and the blessing became a curse.

Come up higher!

Anyone who wants to rise must get rid of weight Heb 12 v 1. Sin is a weight, get rid of it and restitute.

PRAYER POINTS:

1, EVERYTHING I NEED TO RESTITUE ABOUT REVEAL TO ME NOW AND GIVE RESTITUE

2, EVERYHTING THAT WILL HINDER MY CLIMBING HELP ME TO GET RID OF IT NOW,

3, FATHER, I WILL RESTITUE MY WAYS, REMOVE EVERY CURSE IN MY LIFE.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God will not force you to give but He will bless you when you do

Jesus is considered by scholars such as Weber ...

God will not force you to give but He will bless you when you do

Give, and it will be given to you…. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Luke 6:38
As a Christian, you are in a different kingdom now. God’s kingdom is completely different from everything in the kingdom of the world. In this kingdom, in order to get, you must give (your talents, time, resources, ect).
The instruction you choose to obey determines the future you will create. God won’t force you to give but He will bless you when you do. It doesn’t make sense to trust your soul to God and not your talents, gifts, time and resources.
Jesus gave numerous instructions on what to do with your resources and we ignore them at our peril. Everything God instructs you to do is for your own good.
God is your Father. Trust Him to provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Faith without works is dead. Choose this day whom you will obey. You are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses who have decided to believe God regardless of their opposition.
Follow their example and lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares you, and run with endurance the race that is set before you, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (see Hebrews 12:1-2).

Reach out in faith to receive your miracle today

WHOSE FAITH WAS IT?

Culled from:  news.awmi.net

Luke 7:13-14, “And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not, And he came and touched the bier: and they that bear him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.”

LUKE 7:11-17

This example of the widow’s son being raised from the dead is often used to demonstrate that Jesus produced many miracles without any faith from those receiving the miracle, but by His faith alone. However, the prayer in Mark 6:5-6 shows that Jesus could not (nor would not) do many mighty works in His home town because of the people’s unbelief. Many scriptures reveal that faith must be present to receive from God (Mk. 11:23-24; Jas. 1:5-7).

So, whose faith was present in this instance? First, the mother of the boy responded to Jesus in faith. For this woman to allow Jesus to interrupt the funeral procession and tell her to stop weeping has to be viewed as a positive response. These people were no different from mourners at funerals today. If she had rebelled at Jesus’ intrusion, the crowd would have sided with her because of pity, but none of these reactions are recorded. Jesus was in command.

Second, it cannot be proven that a dead person has no choice in what happens. We may take it for granted, but the scriptures don’t state that. A person doesn’t cease to exist at death; he simply leaves his body. The person is still very much alive. Many people who have been raised from the dead have mentioned that they had a choice in whether or not to enter their bodies again. Although this principle cannot be verified by scripture, it cannot be ruled out by scripture either.

In any case, to be consistent with the rest of scripture, some degree of faith had to be present in either the person receiving the miracle, or an intercessor (in this case, the mother). Reach out in faith to receive your miracle today.

God’s Purpose for your life

God‘s Purpose for your life.

Colossians 1:16 (NKJV)

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
Everything begins with God. You were made by Him, you did not create yourself and until you understand that, life will never make sense. If you want to discover your purpose in life, don’t turn to the world for an answer, but to God.
