1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. 2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. 3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man. 4 As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. 5 Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. 6 I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst show them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
7 And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it. 8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children: 9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments. 10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me. 11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know. 12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail. 13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. 15 Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.
May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
Imagine what it would be like if your decision to follow Jesus made you an outcast from your family and even a target for death.
That’s what happened to a man named Abdu. But the power of love broke down the barriers and brought him and his family back together.
These days Abdu and his father, Suleman, spend time praying and studying the Bible together. Some might call that a miracle since the two did not speak for nearly 20 years.
In fact, Abdu’s father once tried to kill him. Why? Because at the age of 16 he decided to leave Islam and follow Jesus.
An Unexpected Visit
The young man’s journey of faith began with an unexpected visit.
“I was sleeping and Jesus woke me up, and it was like a dream or revelation,” Abdu recalled.
Abdu gave his life to Christ after reading from a borrowed Bible. His decision made his family angry because in their Muslim community, leaving Islam brings disgrace.
“We didn’t know what kind of belief he brought,” Suleman said. “We were fundamentalist Muslims and were very upset. That is why we were against him.”
“Our neighbors also told us he brought a foreign religion here which is not good, and they said, ‘Attack him and don’t accept him,'” he said.
His mother, Semira, was also very upset when she learned her son became a Christian.
“I had deep, deep sorrow in my heart because I thought I had lost my boy,” she said. “I thought we can’t even be buried together when our days are over. It was a big sorrow at that time.”
Village leaders tried to intimidate Abdu by ordering a gang of young men to attack him.
“As I was walking to school, they met me on the road and they beat me very badly with a rope and made me suffer,” Abdu recalled. “They [asked] me, if this was my final decision. If I continued to be a Christian, they said they would take the full measure and would kill [me].”
Still, Abdu refused to renounce Jesus, and his father became so angry that he tried to kill him.
“We chased him out from our home because we didn’t want to be against our neighbors. He brought different things [here] so we chased him out and he went to another village,” Suleman said.
During his years in exile from his family, Abdu worked at a church as a security guard and grew stronger in his faith. He read more than 100 Christian books and began discipline other former Muslims who had come to Jesus.
Thawing Hearts
But Abdu’s mother missed him terribly, and after many years of separation, she slipped away to visit her son.
“During the six years, I had heard that he wasn’t drinking alcohol and doing bad things,” she said. “But the boys who were his friends here were doing those things, so I decided to see him secretly.”
Impressed by the changes in her son’s life, Semira began to consider Christ. However, it took 10 years before she too would leave Islam to follow Jesus.
“I believed that the faith of my son was true and correct, but now I had a big problem with my husband,” Semira said. “But I still decided to follow Jesus and tried to bring [my husband] to Christ. We showed big love to him and big changes in our character. This influenced him.”
About a year later, Suleman’s heart softened under the influence of God’s big love. Now, he and the rest of his family, about 40 of them, are all Christians.
A hut on the family property is now a place of worship to the Lord and for hearing the Gospel.
“I’m very happy that my family has come to Jesus,” Abdu said. “But the biggest thing that makes me excited is that near the home [where] I grew up is a place being used as a church. People are coming and praying and giving their lives to Christ!”
A Missionary to Muslims
Abdu is now a missionary to Muslims in areas that are hostile to the Gospel.
With help from the Voice of the Martyrs Canada and Scotland, Abdu oversees a tentmakers’ project for six other former Muslims who are sharing their faith.
“Our way of bringing people to Christ is not only telling them the Bible, but we show them big love and share our things with them and also show them the good life we have in Christ,” Abdu said.
That approach has been very effective, with thousands of former Muslims responding to the Gospel.
As for Suleman, while he and his family are persecuted for the faith, he said he’s not about to return to Islam and he looks forward to eternity with the Lord.
“The fundamentalists can do the worst they can to us,” Suleman said. “The last option for them is to kill us. We don’t mind if they kill us because some believers will bury us.”
“For us, it is better with Christ than to live in the community without Christ,” he said. “We don’t feel fear. These days for us are not a threat.”
May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
May the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!
My heart is opened to be filled with the treasures and wisdom of God’s Word. As I study and listen to God’s Word, The Holy Spirit is on hand to teach and grant me insights and revelations, causing the Word Of God to grow and prevail in my life, over all circumstances, in Jesus Christ Name! Amen!
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
18Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”
God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!
When you are resting in God, He works for you. In fact, when He works, you end up with more. He is the one who is giving to you. It is not about you trying to give to yourself.
This was what happened to Ruth in the Old Testament. After laboring in the barley fields from morning to evening, she was able to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17), which was equivalent to a 10-day supply of barley. Certainly, this amount was a blessing to her.
But when she rested at the feet of Boaz, her kinsman-redeemer, and did not labor, she received six ephahs of barley (Ruth 3:15), which was equivalent to a 60-day supply! When Ruth sought her own blessing, she obtained only one ephah. But when she sought the blesser, she received much more.
Ruth’s blessings did not stop there. While Ruth rested and sat still as her mother-in-law Naomi had instructed, Boaz, who was the owner of the barley field, went to work, initiating actions, executing them and speaking on Ruth’s behalf. Right through it all, Ruth sat still and rested. Eventually, Boaz, the barley man himself, married Ruth. (Ruth 4) That meant no more measured wealth of six ephahs, but the yield of the whole barley field in total!
Boaz is a picture of Jesus, our heavenly kinsman-redeemer. When we rest in the Lord, He will not rest. He will work on our behalf. What do we do then? We just trust in and enjoy His love for us.
Beloved, stop striving and be at rest. If salvation, the greatest work, comes to us by resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?
May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
May the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!
For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17
Are you secure in God’s promise to never leave you or forsake you?
When we feel fear or uncertainty we should stand on God’s promises in His Word: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27). Is your testimony one of faith or of fear?
Lester Sumrall said, “Faith is to be a constant dominating experience in your life-not something that comes once in a while… continually test yourself… when you start to make a decision or do something ask, ‘Is this faith’s road I’m walking? Or is it unbelief’s?’ If it is unbelief’s, get off that road! You don’t belong there. ‘Is this faith’s choice? Or is it fear’s choice?’ I’m not making that choice. I don’t want fear dominating my life. That’s living by faith. That’s the eternal quest for faith. You must do it all the time. Don’t quit. Just pursue it.”
Put your trust in God and get a spirit of faith. He has never let anyone down and He won’t start with you.
May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? 2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. 3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. 5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. 6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. 7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

INTRODUCTION: John 5:39, as believers, we are admonished to ensure we search the scriptures; according to Charles Spurgeon; “The devil’s effective strategy is not to attack the church directly, but to infiltrate it with false teaching and corrupt practices…”, knowing this will help us contend more for our faith. This knowledge will guide us from becoming victims of misconceptions that can derail us from the path of truth. If these misconceptions are not addressed, it has the potential of becoming the truth, which will erode the ancient landmarks and lead many away from the faith. Teaching on misconceptions can be controversial, but the true church must be consistent by standing against it. Whatever is not prohibited is permitted!
As we continue in this series, may the Spirit of Christ guide us into all truth in Jesus name, Amen.
OUTLINE 1: WE WILL GET TO HEAVEN BASED ON HOW GOOD WE ARE ON EARTH: Eph. 2:8-9, 2 Tim 1:9, 1Tim.1:1, Titus 3:5, Romans 3:23, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, James 1:17, 2:17, Matt 7:16-20, 5:48, Heb 12:14
Salvation is by grace through faith and not by works, it is the gift of God so that none can boast. Christ saved us not because of good works done by us but according to his own mercy. We cannot get to Heaven based on the good works we have done. The Bible makes it clear; for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Jesus is the only way, the only truth and the only life to heaven. There is no salvation in no else and the only name under heaven given amongst men by which we must be saved. Good works are a result of salvation and evidence of genuine faith, not a means of salvation and passport to Heaven. A transformed life bears good works, for by their fruits you shall know them. God’s standard for Heaven is Holiness without which no man can see God.
KEY POINT: Romans 3:10, Isa 64:6b – None is righteous no not one, therefore, relying on good will fail.
OUTLINE 2: SHOULD A BELIEVER ALLOW HIS OR HER RELIGIOUS PRACTICES TO IMPART ADVERSELY ON PAID EMPLOYMENT:
COLLOSIANS 3:23-24, MATT 5:16, TITUS 2:9-10, Matt 6:33, Col. 3:23, Romans 12:18, Acts 5:29, 1Peter 2:12, 1 Tess.4:11-12, Phil. 4:5
The relationship between religious practices and employment can sometimes create conflict, and maintaining a balance requires tact and wisdom. The Bible provides principles to guide believers on how to resolve conflict without compromising their faith and professional responsibilities.
1. Prioritize God, be wise and respectful; your ultimate allegiance is to God, it does not mean disregarding work.
2. Work diligently as an act of worship and don’t give your employer a reason to criticize your faith
3. Avoid becoming a conduit for sin in the hands of your employers and above reproach (lying, defraud)
4. Be an example of integrity in work ethics so that our faith becomes attractive to our colleagues
5. Be diligent and don’t use faith as an excuse for poor performance
KEY POINT: James 1:5, Wisdom is profitable; however, be loyal to God, He remains faithful as a great rewarder.
OUTLINE 3: VIOLENT PRAYERS ARE ALWAYS ANSWERED: MATT 11:12, LUKE 18:1-8, 1 JOHN 5:14-15, Matt 11:7-11, 16-19, HEB. 11:6, PHIL 3:12-14, JUDE 1:1-3, ISA. 59:1, ROMANS 9:15-16, ECCL. 9:11, LUKE 11:1-5
What does violent prayer mean? This belief is one of the most debated practices, a very controversial and grave misconception that has eaten deep into Christendom due to the misunderstanding of Jesus’ reference to and praise of John the Baptist and wrongly interpreted that the louder you shout while praying, the faster God will answer your prayers. There are two sources of violence concerning the kingdom of God: from the world through persecution and from believers through Zeal (faith, teaching and perseverance).
Christ’s model of prayer is devoid of shouting but full of reference, worship and love. Our Father who hath in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come…
If shouting was required, the master would have instructed us to follow suit but admonished us not be like the Pharisees and Sadducees. The kingdom of God is not for the weak in heart but for the strong. It is mercy that speaks and covers the multitude of our iniquity. Shouting to God to answer us is a sign that we are far from Him. We do not shout at those we love!
KEY POINT: Ps 51: 17, Luke 18:10-14, A broken and a contrite heart is a gem to God
CONCLUSION: 2 Tim 2:15, Titus 3:8, Constant study of and meditation on the scriptures and obedience to instructions thereby will help us not to become victims of misconceptions.
Thank You Jesus,

Let the sons of God in the house shout hallelujah! We are redeemed by the blood through the love of Christ; that song says ‘what manner of love that the Lord has given to us’. If only we can reflect on these things that the Lord has done for us individually and collectively, perhaps we’ll be better people and better Christians; my prayer for every one of us this morning is that God will give us the understanding of His words and of His love in the mighty name of Jesus.
What a good God You are and what a wonderful day that You have made. Thank You because from the hymnal, You’ve declared to us once again that today is a good day, a day we’ll never forget in a hurry; You also made it known to us that there shall be restoration of blessings, Lord please accept our thanks in Jesus name.
Lord, for every one of us here and those who are listening to us and perhaps those who will join us in the course of this service, Lord, let there be restoration of blessings; let all the beautiful promises you have dished out through the hymnal this morning and even the choir ministration be accomplished without any delay in Jesus name.
Today is the last Sunday in the month of October; thank You for all that You have done so far; thank You because You always reserve the best for the last, we ask Lord in the name of Jesus that this year will not end until You have blessed us in Jesus name. Have Your way in our life; speak to us like never before; Father, let good things happen here today; let everyone under the influence of my voice experience goodness today and let Your name be glorified, in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed.
I want to say good morning to every one of you and I want to say that I’m happy to see your faces again and I trust God very deeply and strongly too that today will be a remarkable day for every one of us, and of course it’s going to be a signpost of a new beginning for every one of us, in every area of our lives in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord will bless us and the Lord will meet us at the points of our needs in the name of Jesus.
We would like to appreciate every one of you for your support, for your encouragement and for your prayers; my prayer for every one of us is that you will never walk alone in Jesus name.
By the grace of God, the vision 2032 of the mission of course whose way and we want to encourage everyone of us to key into it, do our best and of course let’s run with the vision, and has being mandated by the authority, let’s ensure we share the love of Christ with people and bring them to the church and the Lord
Almighty will crown your effort with success in Jesus name.
By the grace of God, tomorrow, we’ll be having our last prayer chain for the month and the theme for tomorrow is “God has made me laugh”; God will make you laugh in Jesus name; by the grace of God, you will begin to laugh from this moment, praise the Lord! Your laughter will be clear, it will be deep and it will be loud in the name of Jesus. Genesis 21:6 is our reference, so please be part of it and I can assure you, you will be blessed.
Isaiah 61:7 – today is the last Sunday of the month, we want to encourage ourselves and we want to pray and I trust God, He will hear and answer every prayer we’ll pray today in Jesus name. He said “For your shame ye shall have double”. Look, today is a day of prophetic declaration, I’m going to prophesy into your life and whether you believe it or not, none of those words will return back to God void today; in your life, God will honor His word in the mighty name of Jesus.
He said “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them”. It’s a season of laughter, you will see the synergy of what is going on and that tells you that whatever is being done here is being divinely orchestrated, there is nothing carnal, yes we are carnal men but we are the carrier of the Holy Spirit and through the grace of the Lord, the Spirit is having His way and I pray in the name of Jesus that now and forever, the Spirit of God will continue to find expression in our midst in the name of Jesus. It’s a season of double portion, you will not be passed by.
So this morning I’m going to talk on the topic “Double for Your Shame or Double for Your Trouble”, any way you want it, put it there but the word of God will find you out this morning. The word ‘double’ means consisting of two parts; anytime you hear double, it means that it consists of more than one part; the word ‘double’ means consisting of two equal parts or identical of similar parts of stuff. Double also means twice as much or as many; twice the amount or extent; therefore, when God says I will give you double, what He is simply saying is that He will give you as twice, as much as you deserve or you request for and today is your day of double blessing, double grace, double honor, double lifting, double of every good thing that your heart desires, if you believe, shout hallelujah!
From our Bible reference, he said for your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: (he said) therefore in their land they shall possess double: (and he said) everlasting joy shall be unto them. Isaiah here was talking to the children of Israel and by grand reformation, the nation of Israel went through a lot of bad times, they disobeyed God severally and worshipped foreign gods, which of course at regular interval led them to being taken captives into exile and (like I said) at different times.
However, a time came like today that God decided to intervene in their situations and of course to give them double for their trouble, and this singular action of God reminds me of the fact that God’s anger is for a moment, according to Psalms 30: 5;
it says, “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life”: the anger of the Lord is for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime.
Our text today (for me) also looks very much like God is saying it is your season of restoration and recovery; it’s a moment that God wants to undo what the enemies have done to you; it’s a time of repossession, you will repossess what you have been dispossessed of. You know you cannot talk of repossession without having been dispossessed; you repossess what you owned before and lost; I pray in the name of Jesus that whatever it is that you have lost in the past, today is your day of repossession.
In Obadiah 1: 17, the Bible says “But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions”. Brethren, something is telling me this morning that it is time to take back; how many of you are ready to take back what belongs to you? You want to take back what you have been dispossessed of, you want to take back what you have lost; say it to your neighbor, ‘it is time for me to take back’ and you must be ready to effect that take back because the Bible says right from the time of John the Baptist unto this present time, (it says) the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violence taketh it by force.
It is only those who come to the presence of God with purpose that will go back home with miracles. If you just come without having anything in mind, you’ll go back home without having anything to think about, but if you have come to the presence of the Lord, believing God that today is my day of ‘take back’, I want to take back, I want to repossess, I can assure you, at the end of the day, you will see that the Lord would have visited you. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that nothing will hinder your take back today in the name of Jesus Christ.
Brethren, you have been invested with the authority and the mandate to take back everything that you need to take back, and I want to say at this juncture that I don’t know what you have lost in the past, I don’t know the humiliation or reproach that you have suffered, I don’t know what it is that have been taken away from you but one thing I know this morning is that you will recover them in the mighty name of Jesus. Every lost shall be recovered in the mighty name of Jesus.
God said to the children of Israel, He said for your shame you will have double; and for confusion you will rejoice in your portion; meaning that for their shame they will have double honor, and for their humiliation or reproach, they will rejoice in God because God is our portion, and when you talk about portion, portion means inheritance, praise the Lord! Say to your neighbor, ‘the Lord is your portion’, say ‘the Lord is my portion’, say it together ‘the Lord is our portion’.
Portion means inheritance; so anywhere and anytime you hear about portion, they are talking about something very keen, something fundamental, something that is critical to your existence as a man or a woman; portion means inheritance; portion means allotment: when you hear allocation, allotment; allocation – that has been allocated to you, so what they are saying is that that has been given to you, that is your own portion. I pray today in the name of Jesus, you will get fat allocation; your allotment will be substantial.
When you hear every month that the federation account, these Governors and others go to Abuja to share allocation, praise the Lord!! And you would have observed that whenever allocations are made, dollar rate will go up; unfortunately they do some under current business; some of them convert security vote to dollars, God will have mercy because allocation is meant to take care of the people – fix the road, fix infrastructure, give us electricity, give us pipe borne water.
Three days ago, somebody came to me and he was drinking from the tap and I was doing like this and said you are drinking from the tap; he said oga, you are not in Nigeria; because it will be suicidal for you to now go to the tap in Nigeria – is any tap still running in Nigeria by the way? Praise the Lord! Except your private taps because everybody here now is a government, praise the Lord! But I pray in the name of Jesus that God will turn the tide for us, He will turn the tide in our favor in the mighty name of Jesus.
So portion means allotment; portion means source of security and finally, portion means hope. I stand on this exalted altar this morning, I prophesy and I decree that your expectation shall not be cut off. I have good news; it’s good news that God placed on my heart this morning to let you know that your expectations shall not be cutoff and your hope will not be dashed in the mighty name of Jesus
Christ and guess what, that is in line with our watchword for the year 2023, Ecclesiastes 9: 4, it says “For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion”.
Let me tell you: we are neither dog nor lion, we are human being, we carry the image of Christ, we are the sons of God and daughters of authority; the Lord is our hope, the Lord is our portion, the Lord is the source of our security. When mommy came to give the opening prayer and she was referred to Psalm 91: 1 where the Bible says ‘he that dwelleth in the secret place shall abide under the shadow of the almighty God and I shall say of the Lord…’, it’s talking about our portion; He’s our portion because the Lord is the source of our security. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that from now on, yourself, your children, everyone that is connected to you will enjoy divine cover in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, God is our all in all, praise the Lord! No shaking; tell your neighbor ‘no shaking’, it doesn’t matter what is going on, God will defend His own; it doesn’t matter the situation, God will feed His own; it doesn’t matter what is going on, I can assure you, you will not eat from the dunghill in the mighty name of Jesus. David said, ‘I am young but now I’m old, but I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his children begging for food’, you will not beg for food.
And let me declare into your life that your life from today will be better than your life in the past in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You may be going through challenges, you may say Pastor, if only you understand, if only you are aware, if only you know – I don’t need to know, the Bible says weeping may endure to the night, (it says) but joy cometh in the morning; your story is going to change, your testimony is going to change, you are going to sing a new song and God is going to take a new shape in your life. God has done it before; Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever; what He has done before, He will do again.
Tell your neighbor, God is waiting to honor you; God is waiting to restore everything you have lost; God is waiting to give you back in double measures; He will fill you with everlasting joy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Don’t throw in the towel, don’t sign off yet; the Bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength; it says don’t be like them without hope; why must you go and jump into the lagoon when God has taken care of you already, all you need to do is to wait for your time.
A man of God says if you come before your time, you will expire before your time comes. God has made everything beautiful in His time, don’t kill yourself, in fact, wipe that out of your medulla oblongata from today; wipe that out, wipe it off, you must fulfill your day, delete it; don’t ever plunge yourself to a state of despair like my friend Elijah who sat under the tree, ‘God just kill me, take my life’; the Bible says in the Book of Job, there is yet hope for a tree, just a button is required, press the button; it says at the touch of water, it will sprout back. Press the button of faith, key into the word of God and you’ll see yourself bounce back. Tell your neighbor ‘you are bouncing back’; ‘I am bouncing back’, in the name of Jesus Christ.
There are many examples of those who recovered lost grounds in the Bible through the authority and the power of the Living God; my case, your case and our cases will not be an exception.
God restored Noah: Noah was in the boat and for many years, the flood has abated, he looks like he has been forgotten and I want to believe by that time maybe they were ran out of supply, but it happened that God remembered Noah. I pray in the name of Jesus that God will remember someone today, if you are the one, shout hallelujah.
God remembered Abraham at the age beyond human expectation, but God did it. Let me tell you, God does not operate with conventional wisdom, that’s why He said He has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; don’t look at your situation, where there seems to be no way, God will make a way in the mighty name of Jesus.
God remembered Joseph: I think I shared that with you sometimes ago before I travelled that between the time Joseph and Butler met, two years elapsed before the king dreamed and he know remembered, I remember I met one guy o, for Joseph, he thought it was gone but the time came that he was remembered and that was the beginning of his journey to the palace. Let me tell you, you will get to the top.
And of course my friend, Mephibosheth; can you imagine the son of a king living with a servant, in Lo Debar, a God-forsaken land. I don’t know where you live today “figuratively”, but what I can assure you is the fact that divine relocation awaits you today in the mighty name of Jesus.
Brethren, our God is a talk-and-do God; Isaiah 55:11 says “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it”. What other assurance do you need? He said ‘so shall My word’, not the word of any pastor but the word of God, and I pray today that God will honor His word in our life.
Lamentation 3: 37, so that you will know how God feels about His word, says “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commanded it not”? I don’t even know what doctor is saying to you, but doctor’s report is not God’s report and God’s report is superior to doctor’s report. I stand on this exalted altar this morning and I nullify every contrary report concerning you in Jesus name.
Psalms 89:34 & 35 say “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David”. And in Hebrews 6, it says after God has done everything, said everything, He looked for something by which He can swear and there was nothing, so He decided to swear by His name – by two immutable things which is impossible for God to lie.
Brethren, I have no doubt in my mind and I feel very strongly about it that God will make it up to you; the shame, the reproach, the confusion, the wastage, the failure, the setback, God will make it up to you. He did it for Sarah, He did it for Rachel, He did it for Jacob, He did it for Peter and it is your season of open heaven, God will release His blessing, no more delay.
Ezekiel 12:28 says “Therefore say unto them, thus saith the Lord God; there shall none of my words be prolonged anymore, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God”. No more delay, please announce it to your neighbors, no more delay; from today, you’ll begin to receive expressly from the Lord; you will even receive from unexpected quarters, but when you receive from the Lord, remember the pastor, please. You must bring what one of my friends will say ‘Prophet’s offering’.
I have a friend, he said daddy, this ‘Prophet offering’, I heard of that from him for the first time; so ever since then, when you have it, remember Prophet offering; my chairman is laughing, he knows what I’m talking about because he too still needs to come with a prophet offering.
It is your season of double accomplishment in every area of your life; however, the prodigal sons must come home, sinners must repent. The key to double portion is a key of repentance; the key of double portion is a key of reconciliation with God; the Bible says we cannot continue in sin and expect the grace of God to abound. In Isaiah 1: 19, it says if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the fruits of the land; it’s a season of double portion, God wants to release His blessing, shall we rise on our feet.
I don’t know how anxious you are, I don’t know how ready you are but if you are here, you have not given your life to Christ, like I said prodigal sons must come back home, sinners must repent and everyone of us must be ready to be consecrated and walk with God in obedience and it’s in doing that that the blessings of double portion will be our portion in Jesus name.
So I want you to just bless the almighty God for this honor and privilege to be here and to be part of this great service this morning, because there is no doubt, God is here, (you can take that to the bank) and He’s here to answer our prayers; so I want us to bless God for that as we close our eyes and bow down our head.
[Altar call]
Brethren, I’m sure you came here today purposely to meet with the Lord, therefore I want you to cry onto Him this morning and say Father, Father, please reveal Yourself to me this morning like never before in the mighty name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord, I want you to cry to the Lord and say Father, as I come unto You today, reveal Yourself to me like never before in the name of Jesus; thank You Father because You have answered, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
You are going to cry unto the Lord and say Father, please pull down every wall of sin standing between me and my miracles, standing between me and my prayers in the name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord brethren, it’s a time of prayer, I want you to pray to God that every wall standing between you and your prayers, every wall standing between you are your miracles, that God will pull them down in the name of Jesus.
The distance between us and our miracles is just our iniquity; the Bible says God’s hands are not short nor His ears are deaf to hear and to deliver us, but our iniquity; if we let iniquity go, prayer will be answered instantly. I want you to pray to God this morning, every wall standing between me and my miracle Father, put them down in Jesus name; thank You Father because You have answered, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
You are going to cry unto the Lord and say Father, please purge me holy and holy of every sin and unrighteousness in my heart and make me pure from today and henceforth in the name of Jesus; thank You because it is done, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
You are going to cry unto the Lord and say Father, please repair and renew every broken and contaminated portion of my life in the name of Jesus; thank You because it is done in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
You are going to cry unto the Lord and say Father, please let me experience Your divine visitation today and give me my own double portion – double portion of blessings, double portion of inheritance, double portion of my own security, double portion of joy and hope in the name of Jesus. Father, as I have come today oh God, visit me in a very divine way and give me (oh Lord) my own double portion – double portion of joy, double portion of blessings, double portion of inheritance, double portion of peace and hope in the name of Jesus Christ; let Your name be glorified forever in my life, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Brethren, very quickly I want you to present your personal requests to God and I want to tell you this morning that healing is available to the sick; help is available to the helpless; victory is available to those who are being oppressed; success is available to the failure; fertility is available to the barren; partners are available to the lonely; every good thing your heart desire is available this morning in great measure because it’s a new dawn.
I want you to cry before the Lord, whatever you want Him to do for you, please open your mouth and speak to Him. Just in a moment, tell Him Father, you need success, you need victory, you need a partner, you need fertility, you want to be productive; I want you to cry unto the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus; thank You Father because You have answered, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
I join my faith with yours and I decree this morning that none of you will return back the same way you came; help will come through for you in the mighty name of Jesus. I decree, no more weeping today in the name of Jesus; the days of weeping and grieving are over in the name of Jesus Christ.
I prophesy that your seasons of delay are cancelled in Jesus name; the joy of the Lord will be your strength from today; forward ever and backward never; receive grace for double portion; receive forgiveness on every sin you have ever committed; next level of grace is prophesied for you and mercy of God will cancel every judgment in your life and above all in the kingdom of God we will not be found wanting; blessed be the name of the Lord forever, in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed.
