Be a Rock of Support

Dear,

Here is your wisdom for today:

“ Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 KJV)

One of the desires of God is to find people who will build a family name and not just come to church and sit. When we begin to grow in the things of God, we come to a point where an awesome responsibility comes upon our shoulders. When you become a leader in a place, you are not just like every other person, there are responsibilities that come with leadership. Often, people want to celebrate the glamour of leadership but very few are willing to face the challenges that go with leadership. Leadership is a call to responsibility. It is a call to an assignment, a call to be a pillar in the house. If a pillar is removed from a building, the building collapses.

God is looking for builders of the family name. God put you in that congregation to be a part of its mission. It is your church. Nothing happens by accident. There are many big and powerful churches all over the world, but God has planted you in a local assembly for a purpose. When God orders your steps into a particular local assembly where your destiny will be fulfilled, you will begin to grow in the things of God to the point that you will become a leader.

As a leader, you are expected to help others who will be drawn into the commission just as yourself, to become established. Do not constitute yourself into a caterpillar who will root people out of the church because of your attitude and behaviour.

The God of all comfort has comforted and helped you so that with the same comfort you received, that has kept you these years, you will be a source of comfort to help others.

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
