My Daily Proclamation

Psalm 118:17 (KJV): I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD
Psalm 118:17 (KJV): I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD

The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth, even the word of truth which I’ve received. My words are potent, bringing forth victories, increase, promotion and abundance for me. My life is the testimony of God’s grace, glory and excellence. I am the world’s light; no one who follows me stumbles around in darkness. I give men light to live in. I have victory in my spirit; I’m filling everywhere, with the glory of God. There’s a shout of victory, in my spirit. Everything that’s connected with me flows in this victory. Glory to God! Amen!

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Wisdom for Today: Keep the Right Association. Discover the power of positive influences and the unfailing anchor of God’s Word for guaranteed success

Dear,

Here is your wisdom for today:

KEEP THE RIGHT ASSOCIATION

“If you want to grow in wisdom, spend time with the wise. Walk with the wicked and you’ll eventually become just like them.” (Proverbs 13:20 TPT)

You are a product of the association you keep, and the environment you are constantly surrounded by. If you associate with negative people, you will produce negative results. When you surround yourself with those who are not driven towards making progress in life, it affects you such that you never strive for progress, because as they say, “Misery loves company”, and they will always discourage you.

Now, your situation might be such that you don’t have the blessing of having the right people around to influence you and a supportive environment to propel you to destiny, and this can be discouraging, but there is an even better solution for you – the Word of God. The Word of God is a sure anchor that can never fail. It is errorless, authoritative, infallible, and impregnable. You cannot spend time in God’s Word and not succeed. Remember what God told Joshua? The way to good success in life is to stay in the Word, meditate on it, and observe to do it (Joshua 1:8).

God’s Word is a lamp and a light (Psalms 119:105), such that it brightens your path, providing clarity, direction, speed, guidance, and stability through life. Therefore, you are shielded from calamity, shame, embarrassment, disappointment and failure, because you dwell in the Word and have made it your anchor. Beloved, God’s ways are higher than ours; the earlier believers realize this and align, the better. I’ve said this many times and it bears repetition; don’t ever write off anyone who is still sitting under the fountain of God’s Word. As long as that person is feasting on God’s Word and applying the principles of the Word to their lives, they are guaranteed to succeed!

It is high time believers stop making God a liar. God is always true, and He can be trusted even when all else fails. No Word of God is void of power, and as you behold it, it transforms you from one level of glory to another. Even if like David, people have written you off, do not fret, as long as you spend time in God’s Word and in His presence, you are guaranteed to spring a surprise when they least expect it. I declare that your season of announcement is here. In the words of the Psalmist, through His Word you “have more understanding than your teachers…” (Psalms 119:99); there’s only one association to keep for guaranteed success – Jesus, the living Word.

We Are The Sons Of God. We Have The Same Quality Of Life As Christ Jesus

We Are The Sons Of God. We Have The Same Quality Of Life As Christ Jesus

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God… (1 John 3:1).

Some people ask, “Do we really have the same quality of life as our heavenly Father right now in the earth or is it something that’ll happen when we get to heaven?” Some get confused by their misunderstanding of what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:52: “…and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

First, it’s important to understand that your real life—your spirit—came from the Word of God. So, beyond the physical frame, you have in you the life and nature of God, the life of the Word. God’s Word is seed (Luke 8:11), and the seed is the life-carrying faculty of a living thing. The life of God is transferred or transmuted through His Word, which is His seed.

For example, when He said to the Virgin Mary, “You shall conceive and give birth to a son,” the Word He spoke became Jesus. Through the agency of that same Word, He gave birth to us as new creatures: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1 Peter 1:23).

The underlined word “seed,” is translated from the Greek word “sperma” from where the English word “sperm” is derived. The Bible says, “Of His own will begat He us by the Word (seed) of truth that we should be the first and the best of His creatures” (James 1:18). This is how we became sons and daughters of God, with the same quality of life as our heavenly Father.

Our opening verse says, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God….” Right now, we’re the vital sons of God in truth, because we’re actually born of Him. In the next verse, John emphasizes it: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God…” (1 John 3:2). On the outside we may not look so great, but in our spirits we’re absolutely like Him, being born of Him. He brought us into His realm, His class of being. No wonder 1 John 4:17 says, “…as he is, so are we in this world.”

 CONFESSION

I’m a partaker of the divine nature, an associate of the God-kind, with the same quality and type of life as my heavenly Father. I live in dominion, far above darkness and all the depravities that affect the human nature, as a result of the divine life and nature of God in me. Hallelujah! Amen!

Revival By The Word Of God. Sermon And Prayer Points By Pastor E A Adeboye

Hebrews_4-12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

Hebrews_4-12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

Memorise

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

Nehemiah 8:1-10 (KJV)

MESSAGE

To have the full understanding of the term “revival by the Word of God”, we need to carefully consider the various interpretations of the Word of God in view of the Old Testament and the New Testament. In the Old Testament, the Word of God implied both a word about God and a word from God. In effect, the word of God refers to what God says, and at the same time describes God, His essence and attributes. The New Testament on the other hand, presents the Word of God as a person, the second person of the Trinity. Jesus Christ or Lord, who was with the Father from the beginning of creation. The New Testament presents the Word of God as follows:
” 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” –

Colossians 1:16-1
The special ability of the Word of God to revive is based principally on the fact that He is the source of all things in heaven and earth. Since all things were created by Him, the power to revive is embedded in His creative power. God spoke all things into being by the power of His Word. Since the power to create is greater than the power to repair, it is well within the power of the Word to revive a corrupted creature at will.
To this end the Bible says the Word of God is living and active, He has the power to quicken and animate anything He chooses. The Word is able to examine and judge those who hear him, He does not fail, but always accomplishes the set purpose. The Word of God is in fact a weapon of warfare That is able to penetrate and deal with material objects such as joints and marrow, and even the immaterial world such as the soul and spirit.
This passage further confirms that there is no hiding place for any creature before the Word as all things are made bare and completely exposed before Him. Furthermore, the thoughts and intents of the heart of men are correctly discerned and decoded by the Word of God.
Dearly beloved, I admonish you to stop playing games with God. Ask for forgiveness, renewal, revival and rededication today. He will answer your prayers beyond your wildest dreams. He will revive you by the power of His Word and give you a new beginning of joy, peace, and prosperity. You will also reign with Him in heaven in Jesus name. Amen!

Prayer Point

Father, Please revive me by the power in your Word in the mighty name of Jesus.

Let The Word Of Christ Dwell In You Richly

By Jack Graham

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Colossians 3:16

Colossians_3-16-3: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. God Answers Prayers

Colossians_3-16-3: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. God Answers Prayers

I remember it like it was yesterday… moving our oldest child into his college dorm. It was such an emotional experience. Prior to that time I got some time to sit down with him and just talk about the future.

So I told him, “I want to give you a little word of counsel as your father because you’re going to be on your own; you’re going to be making choices separate from your parents now. And although you’ve had a lot of liberty and independence, you’re going to have greater independence than you have ever had.”

So I gave him today’s Scripture and I talked about how our faith has to be more to us than just a religion, but a personal relationship with God. And the key to not just maintaining but strengthening your faith in these formative years, is to allow God’s Word to become such an integral part of who you are that it actually resides inside you.

Over and over again, the Scripture teaches that when you come to Christ, it is no longer your life, but Christ living in you. Christianity is not behavior modification, but rather it is spiritual transformation of the inner life. So that whatever you do, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who lives in and through you!

Real Life Isn’t Found In Religion, But In A Relationship With Christ. So As Christ Dwells In You, Allow Him To Express Himself Through You!

Luke_11-28: But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Let Your Heart Be Occupied By God’s Word

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Hebrews 11:3

Joshua_1-8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

Joshua_1-8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

What we see are not made out of the things which are visible but out of the invincible (The word of God). When God says a thing, the fact that it has not come into existence does not mean it’s not existing. It already exists that is why He spoke it. Whatever your desires are, they already exist, so you will get them in Jesus Name.

When Joshua wanted to possess the world of the Canaanites, God said to him to first get hold on the word of God. He was going into a battle to possess what God has promised them but God asked him to first hold on the word to possess what God has already given to him. (Joshua 1:8) Your entire mind should be pre-occupied by God’s word. Think about in the morning, afternoon and night. Think about it when you are driving, sleeping, bathing, just let it fill thoughts.

In Proverbs 23:7 the bible says “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:..”, in Joshua 1:8 it also says This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. God was saying to Joshua; your success depends on you, “I have given you the land but it depends on what you do with the word I gave you, if you only put it under your pillow, that is your fault but God wants us to have a heart hold on the word because whatever occupies your heart is what will eventually manifest in your life, let your heart be occupied by God’s Word. If God told Joshua the strategy to possess the land, I believe he wants you to do the same as you meditate on the word of God

Psalm 147
Isaiah 49:2, 15,
Hebrews 1:1-3, 4:12,

I See The Word Of God Working Wonders In My Life, Business, Family, Academics And Finances

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Hebrews 1:3

Proverbs_30-5: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

Proverbs_30-5: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

Beloved, the word of God is pivotal to your life, so you must take it with all seriousness that it deserves, if your word level is low, then you are taking things for granted. Thank God we have the bible today in many easy to understand translations and languages, so you and I don’t have any excuse. You must realize that the word gave birth to this world. All things were made by Him and without Him was nothing made that was made, therefore, if you possess the word, you will possess your world. So access the word of God to gain advantage over the world.

How do you act a “heart hold” of the word of God? This is not a 100m dash. It demands consistency. You start by reading the word of God, then meditate (ruminate) over it. Speak it to yourself as many times as possible in a day. You can actually have a word for-the-day for yourself. Write it down on a small paper and carry it around to remind yourself and before you know it, the word becomes a part of you- that is a heart hold and in the face of contrary situations you are standing strong because of the word of God you know and no one can beat it out of you even with a baseball bat.

God says in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. And in Romans 8:29-30 the bible says “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. So we see that God has a place for your colourful and beautiful destiny but you cannot get there without having a heart hold on the word of God. I see the word of God working wonders in your life, business, family, academics and finances in Jesus name. You will testify as you hold on to the word of God. I bless you today.

O Thou, Whom Once They Flock To Hear

Psalms_119-11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalms_119-11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

O Thou, Whom Once They Flock To Hear
Thy Words To Hear, Thy Power To Feel
Suffer The Sinners To Draw Near
And Graciously Receive Us Still.

They That Be Whole, Thyself Hast Said,
No Need Of A Physician Have;
But I Am Sick And Want Thine Ais
And What Thine Utmost Power To Save.

Thy Power And Truth And Love Divine
The Same From Age To Age
Endure
A Word, A Gracious Word Of Thine
The Most Inveterate Plague Can Cure

Helpless However My Spirit Lies
And Long Hath Languished At The Pool
A Word Of Thine Shall Make Me Rise
And Speak Me In A Moment Whole.

Eighteen Or Eight And Thirty Years
Or Thousands Are Alike To Thee
Soon As Thy Saving Grace Appears
My Plague Is Gone, My Herts Is Free.

Make This The Acceptable Hour
Come, O My Soul’s Physician
Thou!
Display Thy Sanctifying Power
And Show Me Thy Salvation Now.
Amen!

Nothing Can Be Accomplished Without God’s Word

Nothing Can Be Accomplished Without God’s Word

John_1-1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

John_1-1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

Psalm 107:20 (KJV)

God never starts anything without His word. Anything that God wants to do on earth, the first thing he does is to send His word across. Once He sent out His word, it is as good as done. You don’t have any reason to doubt or fear. Nothing can be accomplished without God’s word.

The Bible tells us that: “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. (2) the same was in the beginning with God (3) All things were made by him and without Him was not anything made that was made. (4) In him was life and the life was the light of men (5) And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth not…….(14) And the word was made flesh” (John 1:1-5; 14, KJV). The word became flesh and dwelt among us. It became evident. We therefore need to pay close attention to God’s word because it will always come to pass.

One thing every believer must understand about the word of God is the fact that before He speaks or sends any word concerning you, He has already completed it in the spirit. The time He sent it is not when it was done. “Forever O lord, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89, KJV). His word has been settled in heaven. It is already guaranteed. It can never fail because it has already been settled in the spirit realm before God sent it forth.

Prophet Isaiah puts it succinctly when he states that God declares “the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46:10, KJV). I know many people may find this difficult to understand. Now look at it this way: if you want to write a book you start from the Foreword, Preface, Introduction, then comes chapter 1, 2,3,4 etc. but that is not how God works. God begins from the conclusion.

Child of God, rejoice because your victory is already concluded and you will surely testify.

Isaiah 46:9-11

Psalm 19:7-11

Daniel 1-2

1 John 4

John_1-1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

John_1-1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

Nehemiah 8:1

“All the people assembled with a unified purpose at the square just inside the Water Gate. They asked Ezra the scribe to bring out the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had given for Israel to obey.”
NLT

It’s a sad fact today that many churches across the world proclaim to love Jesus but refuse to teach His Word. Yet, it is the Word of God that is the life blood of all healthy churches. Even before Jesus instituted the church as we know it today, the people of Israel found revival in their midst when they met together and read aloud the Word of the Lord. Why is it that the elevation of the Bible brings revival? It’s because Christ Himself is contained within the pages and where Jesus is there is life!

John 1:1 “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” NLT

The book of John goes on to say that the Word brought life and light into the darkness. Who is this life and light? It is Jesus Christ. So now the question is, “Is the Word of God a priority in your life?” Do you study it, pray through it and apply it to your life? If not, then friend I would challenge you to pick it up today and read. Ask God to give you understanding and then you will see a personal revival in your life that could lead to a revival in your church, community and the world.

Life Lesson
Personal and church-wide revival starts with the Word of God.

Dear God,
Thank You for the Bible. It is through these pages that we find life and light. Within Your Word, there is the story of our salvation in Christ and instruction on how we can live victorious lives. Teach me Your ways and help me grow in wisdom and understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Proverbs_30-5: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

Proverbs_30-5: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”

(Romans 4:20 &21 KJV)

Colossians_3-16-3: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. God Answers Prayers

Colossians_3-16-3: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. God Answers Prayers

God wants us to believe His Word and stand absolutely and confidently on it. He wants us to be resolute in our belief, believe it so much that you can start working on it before you see the manifestation. You believe it so that God will honour what He says. Without the word of God, you cannot please God. But with the Word, you can be pleasing in His sight because God and His word are one. And obeying His word is obeying Him. That is why He gave you His Word. To know God is to know the word of God. That is why you must make it a priority not to observe rituals. Stop running from pillar to post! Stay in the word and get all that God has for you.

Isaiah_40-8: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever

Isaiah_40-8: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever

Remember that the plan of God is that you should please Him. His plan also is that you should be representative of Him on earth. You are to replicate Him and reveal who he is to the world. He wants you to be conformed to the image of His Son Jesus Christ in all things because whoever has seen the Son Christ Jesus has seen our Heavenly Father. God according to Hebrews 1:2-3 “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

John_1-1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

John_1-1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God

Jesus pleased the Father. In the same way and manner, God wants you and I to please Him by staking our lives out on His Word. Pleasing Him is believing absolutely and totally in the efficacy of His word. No matter what you are seeing you must come to the realisation that God in His love cannot fail you. Genesis 15:6 made us to understand that Abraham believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. The bible also says God is not slack concerning His promises. Let us, therefore, believe Him wholeheartedly and depend absolutely on His word because there is power in the Word. That Word of God will produce wonders in your life and you will testify in Jesus Name.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The Word As A Weapon. Sermon And Prayer Point by Pastor E A Adeboye

2-Timothy_2-15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2-Timothy_2-15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Memorise

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

Read: Matthew 4:1-11

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Message

Besides shouting, praising God, the Name of Jesus and the Blood of Jesus, another very important weapon available to believers in Christ is the word of God. Psalm 1:2-3 reveals that the word of God is a weapon against physical and financial dryness. Psalm 1:3 says:
“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Psalms_1-3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper

Psalms_1-3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper

This is simply great. The word of God fights against every anti-progressive element it comes in contact with. If you delight in God’s word and meditate daily on it, you create the opportunity for it to work for your prosperity. How often do you spend quality time feasting on God’s word? Some people think they are doing other people a favour by reading the Bible. No! You are only doing yourself a favour. If you fail to create time for the word, you are only doing yourself a disservice.

Proverbs_30-5: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

Proverbs_30-5: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him

Moreover, the word of God is a very powerful weapon against the devil. When the devil came to tempt the Lord Jesus, He overcame him using the word of God. He kept saying “It is written…”. Whenever you engage the devil, use the word. Some people think that the Bible is becoming too old-fashioned to combat modern schemes of the devil. That is a lie from the devil himself! The Bible is ever relevant and never loses its power, message and effectiveness, irrespective of the times. Always apply the word; it always works! After becoming the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), I went on a familiarisation tour. The youths rejoiced over God’s choice to place me in that position.

One day during the tour, we were heading towards my village when the devil said to me, “You are now very popular; it is better you die when you are popular than when you become unpopular.” Immediately, this word of God in Psalm 118:17 came out of my mouth: “I shall not die but live, and I will declare the works of the Almighty God.” Five minutes later, we narrowly escaped a horrible accident. At that time, the entire congregation of the RCCG was below 1000. If the word of God had not come forth to deal with the devil, he would have had me for breakfast. He could anticipate an explosion of God’s move in the church and he wanted to stop it, but the word of God stopped him. Never neglect opportunities to know more of the word.

Psalms_118-6: The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Action Point

Know the word, believe it, apply it and expect it to work, and it will work wonders.

As a child of God, expect that good will happen to you. If it means closing all your eyes from things around you, close your eyes. The woman in 2 Kings 4 said that it is well in a dead situation. The son was already dead and the husband said: “Woman today is not Sunday. Where are you going”? But she said: “it is well”. The woman refused to be troubled by the terrible situation. She refused to be stressed. Research in Medical Science has shown that about 90% of diseases are stress – related. It is when you are already stressed up that your body begins to react and to throw up all kinds of symptoms. But you are not supposed to be stressed up because the bible says that you can cast your cares upon Him. He cares for you.

Psalms_55-22: Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Psalms_55-22: Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

How can you survive in our world today, if you do not guard your heart? If you turn to any of the media – electronic or print, you will see 90% of the news are bad news. The news are enough to make your heart fail and give up that anything good can still happen. All across the world, the wars and rumours of war are on the increase. The nations that are not into war are battling with natural disasters – earthquakes, floods etc. There is so much bad news going around that you must consciously guard your heart with all diligence. There is nowhere that is safe. I see people running from developing nations to developed nations in search of greener pastures only to get there and realise that they are even facing worse devils there. There is so much happening around us to make us to be depressed, but incline your heart to the word of God.

However beloved, I give you a charge: don’t hang your face in the dust, but look straight. God told Abraham to look from where he is and not at where he is, when Lot departed from him. This is because when you look at your circumstance, it will put you in a condition that you may not be able to come out from. So I challenge you to look away from the circumstance and look unto God. Those who look unto Him are never disappointed. Psalms 34:5 says “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” You will not be disappointed in Jesus name.

Word Of God And The Blood Of Jesus Christ, By Pastor E A Adeboye

1-John_5-4-3: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

1-John_5-4-3: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

Memorise:

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 12:11

Read: Hebrews 12:22-25

22  But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

25  See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Message

There are two irresistible weapons available to the children of God in spiritual warfare. These are the Word [of God] and the Blood [of Jesus Christ]. The Word is so powerful that the entire universe was made by Him (John 1:1-3). This is why the Word can put any abnormality in your life under control, just as He did in Genesis 1. Death is the greatest problem that confronts mankind. The Bible in 1 Corinthians 15:56a reveals that the power of death lies in sin:

“The sting of death is sin;”

But praise God, the Blood of Jesus took care of sin once and for all. Revelation 1:5b says that:

“Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”

Once the matter of sin is dealt with by the sinless Blood of Jesus Christ, the evil sting of death is rendered powerless.

Pastor E A Adeboye, Daddy G O

Pastor E A Adeboye, Daddy G O

As such, when a child of God is armed with the Word and with the Blood, victory is fully decided. The question then is: why are some children of God still living defeated lives? The problem is, for these two weapons of spiritual warfare to be effective for any child of God, certain conditions must be fulfilled. One of such conditions is that they must be ready to honour God’s Word, no matter the cost. At times, when some children of God are caught in heinous sins that should not even be heard of among moralists, they chorus, “It is the devil’s work.” It’s as if John 10:10 has been erased from their Bibles. Because such Christians do not honour God’s Word by keeping it, the Word can’t work for them. When a so-called child of God continues to kiss women other than his wife and blatantly disregard God’s Word in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 that says,

“Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

The Word will not be effective for him in fighting against the likes of Delilah. Or is it the Blood of Jesus Christ, who some nail to the cross times without number as they rise and fall, that would avail for them? Notice that the Bible in the concluding part of Revelation 12:11 says that:

“…and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

For the Blood of Jesus to work for you, you are expected to resist sin to the point of, if necessary, shedding your own blood (Hebrews 12:4). I pray that the Word and the Blood will work for you at all times in Jesus’ Name.

Action Point:

Determine to put the Word of God into proper application in your daily life, and plead the Blood of Jesus Christ against all negative situations of life for a pleasant turn around.
