1-Peter_2-2:As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” 1 Peter 2:2
There are people who become uncomfortable around the Word of God. They are ever so quick to leave the environment where the Word of God is being shared, or they look for an excuse to discuss some other topic. They just can’t settle down to listen to the Word.
Such people are carnal!
There are the ones who are always shifting restlessly, yawning, dozing and even sleeping during services (Galatians 5:17). Every part of their body feels like it’s in the wrong place and it’s as though they’re being punished. These are spiritual babes!

Psalms_119-105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path

However, for those who have understanding and have matured, their most exciting times are when they’re with other believers, sharing the Word of God. Their mindset is like that of the Psalmist when he said; “ I rejoice at Thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil” (Psalm 119:162). These are unique people who enjoy and love to hear the Words that flow out of the mouth of the Master.
God wants you to love His Word. He wants you to develop an unquenchable thirst and insatiable desire for His Word, for that’s the only way to spiritual growth. Remember, “The Spirit is the one who gives life! Human strength can do nothing. The words that I have spoken to you are from that life-giving Spirit” (John 6:63 CEV). Let the Word be the paramount thing in your life, for it’s your life and medicine to your body.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father! I thirst for Your Word as the deer pants for the water brooks. I long to be filled with the fresh bread and milk of Your Word. I receive those words of eternal life gladly, with meekness and with faith, in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

May God Bless Nigeria, America And Israel And Take Care Of Us; May God Make His Face Shine Upon Us, And Be Gracious To Us; May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon Us, And Give Us Peace, In Jesus Christ Name, We Pray! Amen!

May The Grace The Lord Jesus Christ, And The Love Of God, And The Fellowship Of The Holy Spirit Be With You All. Amen!
