Text: Psalm 102:13

 “Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. ”

INTRODUCTION: The favour of God does not come by accident. There are conditions to fulfilto be able to enjoy it. This is our focus today.

SOME CONDITIONS TO OBTAIN GOD’S FAVOUR

The favour of God does not come by accident. It is prayed in. –

Numbers 6:24- 26

“24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”

Psalm. 31:16

“Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake. ”

 

Daniel. 9:17

“Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.”

It Is Purchased By Obedience.

John 3:22.

“After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.”

It Needs Attention. Paying Due Attention To The Word Of God And Observing To Do Them Is A Source Of Divine Favour.

Exodus. 3:3-4

“3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” 4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” ”

Divine Favour Comes Whenever God Remembers His Covenant.

2 Kings 13:23

“And the LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.”.

Whenever Praises Is Raised To God, Favour Follows.

2 Chronicles. 20:22-25

“22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. 24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. 25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.”

Whenever God Is Present, Divine Favour Follows.

John 12:32

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me”

Psalm. 22:3

“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”

Acts 2:47

“Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. ”

CONCLUSION: Pay the price and you can enjoy the favour of God.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Praise God because the time to favour you has come.
2. Father, I want to enjoy your favour, give me the grace and power to pay the price.
3. Father, give RCCG favour in all nations where the church is yet to be established.
4. Pray for Daddy G.O and his family.
5. Pray fervently for your nations.

May God Bless Nigeria, America And Israel And Take Care Of Us; May God Make His Face Shine Upon Us, And Be Gracious To Us; May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon Us, And Give Us Peace, In Jesus Christ Name, We Pray! Amen!
