“But thou art holy, o thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel” Psalm 22:3 (KJV)

Psalms_108-3: I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations

As you praise God, open up your spirit, turn yourself loose and let Him minister back to you as you minister unto Him. Let Him be your audience and expect to be ministered to in return. Often times we get familiar with motions of praise worship, we enjoy the lyrics of the songs, dance, hi-five one another and fail to come before His presence with expectations. We minister to Him and never wait or bother to be ministered unto in return thereby forfeiting the opportunity to have Him address issues in our lives. We thus return from His presence as though we were never there at all.

Beloved, one sure way to hear from God in times like these and get ministered to is through praises. So don’t’ let such moments pass you by. Don’t be too agitated to praise Him rather see your trying moments as opportunity to render quality praise unto Him because the bible tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people. If He dwells in praises, then, He will surely minister to you and your need when you praise Him. He will virtually step into the midst of your situation.

We are told in 2 Kings Chapter 3 that a time came when the ancient prophet of God, Elisha was desperate and needed to hear the voice of God. What did he do? He simply demanded that a minister play in praise to God. As the minister played, we are told that the hand of God came down upon him and he was able to prophesy to the king what God was saying. Can you begin to imagine all that God is capable of downloading to you as you praise Him? Child of God, if you truly want to hear God concerning that situation you are going through, I challenge you to make quality praise and worship your lifestyle. As you recognize God’s glory and praise Him for His good works towards you, it provokes Him to speak and move concerning your situation.
