The blind men and the people who heard them crying understood that
Jesus was anointed, that He had God’s power on Him. They also
understood that He was the Son of God. Yet, Jesus did not lay hands on
them and say, “I know you’re healed, because I touched you and I’m
anointed.”

Introduction

Our God is glorious, excellent, beautiful, superb, majestic Exodus 15:11. We are His offspring; His Chosen generation. We must be glorious like Him, in excellence, beauty, radiance, achievements. To achieve this, we must be a generation with vision. We must set goals and achieve them. Proverbs 29:18.

To answer this, we need to answer some other questions: – Who am I, what is my deepest dream in life. To fulfil my dream, what do I need to do? Why is it important to me? Does God approve of it? The least expected friends of Jesus

“This man has done nothing wrong.” Luke 23:41

Finally someone is defending Jesus. Peter fled. The disciples hid. The Jews accused. Pilate washed his hands. Many could have spoken on behalf of Jesus, but none did. Until now.

Kind words from the lips of a thief. He makes his request. “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom”(Luke 23:42).

The Saviour turns his heavy head toward the prodigal child and promises, “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43).

In the last chapter of Nahum, God brings several charges against the city of Nineveh. One of these charges is their involvement in harlotry and sorcery. These two lifestyles thrive in the dark corners of society and desire to accomplish personal fulfilment with ungodliness. So what is God’s plan to punish those involved? He is simply going to expose their sinfulness to everyone.

In our own lives, I believe we fear this more than anything else. We fear the thought of being “found out”. Friend, God already knows our sins. There is nothing…

There is more to life . . .

than being healthy,

than being happy,

than being problem free,

than being comfortable,

than feeling good, than getting what we want,

than being healed.

There is more to life even than living!

And the “more to life” is the development of our faith to the extent that our very lives display God‘s glory!

God sometimes does not shield those He loves from challenges but uses those challenges to fulfil His greater plan. He is glad, not that we suffer, but that we have the opportunity to grow in our faith and display His glory, which is the fulfilment of the very purpose for our existence. Don’t settle for less than more!
