FOR GOD SO
LOVED THE THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON

For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but
have everlasting life (John 3:16)

John 3:16 is
probably the most popular verse in the Bible, but many haven’t understood the
power of that little powerful verse. What world did God love? Was it the hills
and the mountains? Was it the vegetations and the rivers? It was none of these.
He loved the world of human beings, as sinful and wicked as they were! Doesn’t
it amaze you that even when Adamsinned back in the garden, it was still God
who came looking for him (Genesis 3). Adam was hiding from God, because he had
sinned, yet God still covered his nakedness with animal skin, showing that he loved
him.

The Bible

There is hope for you

Prayer's avatarPrayer Haven

the Gospel of MatthewTHERE IS
HOPE FOR YOU

Now the God of hope fill you with all
joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of
the Holy Ghost (Romans 15:13)

Hope is the
positive expectation of a desired end. It’s a virtue that gives you strength and
a purpose. Only Jesus Christ can give you extraordinary hope. When you have
that kind of hope, you’ll be propelled to look forward to tomorrow with
excitement, because hope is for the future. It’s to expect with confidence; to
cherish a desire with anticipation of a positive outcome.

We find an
example of this from the story of the woman who had an issue of blood for
twelve years. She had spent all her earnings on medical bills, but instead of
getting better, she only got worse. She heard about Jesus, and on a certain
day, came up behind…

God Sent His Word, and Healed Them, and Delivered Them From Their Destructions

HE SENT HIS
WORD, AND HEALED THEM, AND DELIVERED THEM FROM THEIR DESTRUCTIONS

Psalm 107:20

Psalm 107
gives a graphic picture of those who are in trouble. It says “Fools because of their transgressions, and
because of their iniquities, are afflicted. Their soul abhorred all manner of
food; and they draw near unto the gates of death” (
verse 17-18). Who are
these “fools?” it’s talking about those that reject knowledge of God’s Word.
They experience all kinds of trouble in their lives because of their ignorance
of the Word.

Then, the
Bible says they “cry unto the Lord in
their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses”
(verse 19). But
how exactly did the Lord save them? The Bible says, He sent HIS WORD, and healed them… “His answer
to their crying was to send His Word! This is the principle you need to

WE ARE CITIZENS OF HEAVEN

But there’s far more
to life for us. We’re citizens of high heaven! We’re waiting the arrival of the
Saviour, the Master, Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20 MSG)

When you were born again, your citizenship changed
instantly! Your real citizenship is not the one on your international passport,
because having been born again, the Bible says “ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the
saints, and of the household of God
(Ephesians 2:19). Your real citizenship is
in heaven. The Message Translation puts it this way: “…….You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now
your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here,
with as much right to the name Christians as anyone…..”
(Ephesians 2:19).

The Word Of God Is Powerful

THE WORD OF
GOD IS POWERFUL

So mightily grew the Word of God and
prevailed (Acts 19:20)

The Word of
God is powerful, for it is the power that created the universe and the force
that keeps everything in its course (Hebrews 1:3). Once you can open your heart
to the Word and receive it by faith, there’s no limit to what it can do in your
life. The Word of God doesn’t consider the size of the problem or the gravity
of the doctor’s report, neither is it intimidated by the name of the sickness
or disease. It has no restrictions; all it requires is for you to believe and
have absolute faith in it. In other words, when you receive God’s Word gladly
into your heart, believing what it says and confessing the same with your
mouth, you’re creating the right environment for the Word to…

The
Lord Jesus appeared to His disciple many times after His resurrection. On one
of such occasions, He appeared to them when they were returning from an
unsuccessful fishing trip. The disciples, who had gone back to fishing, had
toiled all night at sea and caught nothing. When Jesus appeared to them in the

Taking very good care of your body: Staying Healthy

YOUR BODY NEEDS REST!

And He said unto them, “Come ye

Many times
we just work and work and don’t know when to give our bodies the necessary
rest. It’s good to be hardworking and very diligent at work but at the same
time it’s equally important to realize that the human body has a limit of
exertion it can endure. Stretching it beyond that limit makes the body subject
to unnecessary wear and tear.

It’s
therefore important you take very good care of your body, not only in the
things you eat and do to your body, but also in making sure your body is well
rested. The Bible tells us how that God

Here, Jesus didn’t mean that as you bind something

heaven.

HEAVEN

I wonder what Heaven will be like?

Heaven is a place of tremendous joy – once we get there, we
will like it much more than anywhere we’re ever been. We don’t know yet exactly
what heaven will be like. We only know that it will be wonderful!

In heaven, our bodies will be different from what they are
now. We will be able to recognize each other, but we won’t need food or
sleep.  Everyone who has been saved by
God will be there. This means we will get to talk with people we read about in
the Bible. And we won’t have to worry about the weather – the temperature,
humidity, our income, bills, taxes and expenditures.

We won’t even have to be concerned about what to wear – God
will give us clothes.

Heaven is a wonderful place, filled with joy, love, and
happiness! Amen!

IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST

All through the Scriptures, there’s no place where
Christians are asked to pray to Our
Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST or through
Our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST.

What the Bible teaches is that we pray in the Name of Our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST, for that’s the
right way to pray.

There’re folks who when they pray, would say, “Lord Jesus
Christ, I ask that You grant me such and such in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!.” That’s
wrong. You don’t pray to Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Name, neither do we pray
to our Heavenly Fatherthrough the
Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray to Our Heavenly Father in the Name

I wonder what it would be like to see God (Isaiah 6)

I WONDER WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO SEE GOD (ISAIAH 6)

Prophet Isaiah found out!  He had a vision of what it would be like to
see God. And God was very great and mighty.

He is surrounded by angels. When the
angels spoke, the Temple shook and was filled with smoke. It was both wonderful
and frightening.

Seeing The Lord and listening to the praise of the angels,
Isaiah realized that he was unfit to be in God’s presence. He cried out because
of his sinfulness. Then an angel brought a burning coal and announced that his
sins are forgiven.

Our God is great and awesome; He is also loving and
forgiving. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that God is weak or small just
because you can’t see Him.

And don’t make mistake of ignoring the forgiveness He offers
through Our Lord

Our Lord Jesus Christ
performed several miracles while He was here on earth; He healed the sick,
raised the dead, multiplied food, and turned water into wine. His life was an
unending stream of the miraculous. As He prepared to leave the earth, He
declared that those who believed in Him would do even greater works than He

The Virtuous Woman

THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN

What a girl to do?

Some people have the mistaken idea that a woman should be
very concerned about her looks, up on the latest fashions, and look out for
herself.

But that’s not what God describes in the Bible. The woman
described in proverbs 31 is an excellent wife and mother. She is able to
balance both career and family. It may surprise you that her appearance is
never ever mentioned! This is because the best kind of attractiveness is an
inward beauty. It comes from a woman’s character.

See this woman as an inspiration to be all you can be!

Who can find a
virtuous and capable wife? She is worth more than precious rubies. Her husband
can trust her, and she will greatly enrich his life. She will not hinder him
but help him all her life.

She finds wool and

HONESTY

Truthful lips endure

For more than 30 years, I have stressed that the bottom-line
to real Christianity is having a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus
Christ. I have consistently worked at this. I spent three hours daily with
Jesus Christ in morning devotions; attended prayer meetings and church; taught

But something was missing.

And then it happened. I found the missing link: HONESTY! A personal, intimate

THE LINK BETWEEN YOUR PROSPERITY AND YOUR DELIVERANCE

A dear friend of mine, who is a minster of God, once shared
the testimony of how his daughter got sick and wouldn’t get well even after
series of intense prayers. The doctors couldn’t diagnose what was wrong with
the little girl. Her lips became black and everyone who saw her wondered what
kind of sickness she was suffering from. Every attempt at getting the child
well just didn’t work. Then he opened his wardrobe and packed out all his suits
which were about thirty and took them to church, and gave them as an offering.
After a few days of giving that offering, his daughter was restored back to
health!

The Bible says, “A rich man can buy his way out of
threatened death by paying a ransom….” (Proverbs 13:8 AMP). You see, the things
God has given you aren’t…

Beloved, I wish above
all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul
prospereth (3 John vs. 2).

This scripture reveals God’s desire for every one of His
children: He’s interested in our financial and physical well-being! However,
the degree of financial and physical prosperity we enjoy is determined by the
degree of prosperity in our souls.

You see, your soul prospers as you receive the Word of God
and lay it up in your heart, as you fix your gaze on God and set aside every
weight of sin that has beset you. God gave Joshua the key to God’s kind of
prosperity in Joshua 1:8; “This book of

The hand writing on the wall

Prayer's avatarPrayer Haven

THE HAND WRITING ON THE WALL

Daniel Chapter 5

This was a miracle
that God performed to announce judgement on the King of Babylon for his pride.

Belshazzar was holding a great feast and serving a lot of
wine. During the dinning and wining, he sent for the gold and silver cups that
had been taken from the Temple in Jerusalem.

As he was using these cups to drink a toast to idols of wood
and stone, the fingers of a man’s hand appeared in the air and began writing on
the wall.

The king was shocked and frightened, so he called for Daniel
(One of God’s prophets) to interpret the writing for him.

It meant that the king had been evil and proud, and soon his
enemies would defeat him (which they did).

God used the hand and the writing to get the king’s attention,

Cain and Abel

CAIN AND
ABEL

Why did Cain
kill his brother?

When we read
the story of Cain and Abel (Genesis 4), we see the effects of sin in the world.

The first
sin was when Adam and Eve disobeyed God.

In this
story, we see the sins of jealousy and hatred leading to anger and murder.

Both Cain
and Abel presented gifts to God, but Abel’s gifts pleased God more than Cain’s.
So Cain was jealous of God’s favour. Eventually, Cain’s jealousy and anger led
him to kill his own brother.

Jealousy and
anger can cause people to do terrible things; even to the people they love.

Watch out
for those feelings and deal with them before they hurt you, too!

May Our God The Almighty prosper
Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name,

ADAM AND EVE

Why did Adam and Eve disobey God?

Adam and Eve were sinless and perfect when God created them.
But they still could choose to do what was wrong (just like you and I can
choose to do what we aren’t supposed to do).

When the devil tempted them to eat the forbidden fruit, they
chose to do it. Although people talk about Adam and Eve eating an “apple” in
the Garden of Eden, we don’t know what the fruit looked like or how it tasted.
All we know is that it was the one fruit in that big, beautiful Garden that
they weren’t supposed to eat.

Adam and Eve ate the fruit because the devil started them
thinking about what it might be like. Then he lied about God’s rule to make
them think that God was keeping something good from them. Pretty soon…
