INTRODUCTION

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was founded by late Pa. Josiah Akindayomi in 1952.  After the demise of the founder at the age of 71 years in 1980, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye became the General Overseer. His appointment was formalized in 1981 by the reading of the late Pa Akindayomi’s sealed pronouncement. The RCCG is a covenant church which started with 9 members, but now has presence in many countries of the world.  Like many successful organizations, The RCCG has its corporate philosophies which comprises of its vision, mission, corporate values, etc. Today, we will be doing a refresher on the corporate philosophy of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).  

OUTLINE 1: OUR VISION:

 1). To make heaven Jn. 3:16; Mk. 8:36-37; Jn. 14:1-3

2). To take as many people with us Mt. 28:19-20; Mk. 16:15; Rom. 10:14-15

3). To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations. Jn. 1:41-45; 4:28-30; Acts 10:19-24

OUTLINE 2: OUR MISSION:

1). To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle. Mt. 7:21; Heb. 12:14; Gal. 5:19-21, 22-23

2). To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries. Acts 2:41-46; Rom. 16:5; Acts 18:1-4; Acts 12:11-12; Acts 8:26-40; Acts 5:40-42; Acts 19:6-10 

3). We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ. Mt. 28:19-20

OUTLINE 3: OUR CORE VALUES: 

1. HOLINESS: INTEGRITY, OBEDIENCE AND TRANSPARENCY:

This shall be the lifestyle of true disciples in the Lord’s service.  James 3:17-18; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8. 

2. ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY:

 As believers, we shall be held accountable for the exercise of authority bestowed on us. Workers in the church will necessarily make decisions and take actions on behalf of the church on specific issues of ministry and governance. Workers will be accountable for the decisions they make and the actions they take on behalf of the church.  Luke 19:15; James 1:13-15; 2 Samuel 12:1-15; Ezekiel 18:20; Romans 14:12; 1 Peter 4:4-5.

3. RESOURCEFULNESS: FRUITFULNESS AND DILIGENCE:

  As believers, this is an inner strength of being good at finding ways of doing things and solving problems and challenges. It is the divine ability of the gift of administration exhibiting qualities of creativity, courage vision and imagination that will help deal with difficult situations.  Job 6:13; Psalm 108:12; Psalm 119:11; Jeremiah 32:27; Habakkuk 3:19; Ephesians 6:10. 

4. SACRIFICE: FAITHFULNESS AND HARDWORK:

This is the act of giving up something important or valuable to you in order to get or do something that is more important for the work of the kingdom.  1 John 3:16; Romans 12:1-2.

Jesus Christ The same yesterday, and today, and forever. Heb. 13:8

CONCLUSION: 

RCCG is a covenant church with a very strong, scripture inspired corporate philosophy.
