God deals with us differently. Our individual life data compels it. We call these data circumstances.

We’re all born into different circumstances. Some are born into wealth, some into poverty. Some into war, some into peace. The data of our lives compel different outcomes. Even those born into the same circumstances don’t turn out the same. Not even twins. Jacob and Esau turned out differently. Two different outlooks to life. Two different philosophies of life. Two different sets of values.

God works with the circumstances of our lives. They’re raw material to him. He does programming, writes code with them. He has a unique vision for everyone. And there’s a plan attached to that vision. It’s well thought out – “I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” (Jeremiah 29:11) There’s an outcome in mind.

But that statement assumes a two-party intimacy. It’s you and God. No third party. And there’s hope being manufactured. It’s a byproduct of God’s plan. The journey may be turbulent. The route may pass through the valley of the shadow of death or even through the sea. Hope defies those circumstances. Those two blind men shouting for Jesus to heal them clutched on to hope. They heard Jesus was passing by. Hope maketh not ashamed.  They kept shouting. The more they were told to shut up, the more they cried. Hope is alive!

One more thing. God’s plan can never be for evil. And it gives peace of mind. Hope in him.

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayer

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
