Have You Accepted Jesus Christ into your life?

1-John_1-9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

1-John_1-9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

You can say this prayer now to accept His love…

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Acts_16-31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house

Acts_16-31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house

Father, I know that I have broken Your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

If you have said this prayer from your heart, congratulations!

I Am Not Ashamed Of The Gospel Of Christ. Are You A Very Good Christian In The Midst Of Other Christians, But The Moment You Are In The Midst Of Your Unbelieving Friends, You Switch And Blend In?

Romans_1-16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek

Romans_1-16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God’s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Romans 1:16 (AMP)

Romans_10-17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

Romans_10-17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

It is a popular saying that ‘if you don’t stand for something, you fall for everything’, it takes a great level of conviction to stand up for something. The gospel of Christ is good news, its powerful and impactful, yet some are not bold enough to stand up for this good news. In a bid to be accepted, they drop their standards and compromise what they believe, many people struggle to stand up for who they are in Christ in their places of work, neighbourhood or schools, some tend to cover up their faith because they feel they will not be accepted. We need to come to the point that we declare our faith anywhere without being ashamed, carry our bibles anywhere and be able to speak for and about Christ.

Matthew_10-39: He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it

Matthew_10-39: He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it

Jesus Christ even told us that whoever is ashamed of Him here on earth (denies him), He will deny them in the presence of His Father. Matthew 10:33. Our faith is not what we put on and off as the situation calls for, some are very good Christians in the midst of other Christians, but the moment they are in the midst of their unbelieving friends, they switch and blend in.

Know that many around the world are being persecuted for their faith, if you are blessed enough to be in an area where you have freedom to exercise your faith, then you need to go all the way. Paul also wrote that “all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted” (2 Timothy 3:12).

Matthew_5-44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you

Matthew_5-44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you

Many are persecuted by being ridiculed or mocked, others lose their jobs or experience financial hardships, and some are jailed, tortured, or even put to death.

Be fully convinced in your heart, don’t compromise, but stand strong for your Faith, stand up for the Gospel, its powerful enough to meet you at every point of your need.

Confession:

I am not ashamed of the gospel; I will stand up and stand tall for my faith in Christ. Hallelujah!

It’s not so important who starts the game but who finishes it.”

In The Book Of Life

Joshua_1-8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

Joshua_1-8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

As we pursue understanding the greatest Christian life, one thing we must dispel is that the greatest Christians were the most famous ones. Those who are most well-known on earth may be least known in heaven. Those who are the most highly esteemed in heaven may be little known on earth. Having great spiritual authority with men is not as high as having great authority with God.

Revelation_3-20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Revelation_3-20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Many of the great men and women of history who were at the forefront of great moves of God may have only been there because of those little-known ones behind the scenes praying. We will learn all of this on the great Judgment Day when the Book of Life are opened. The Book of Life are God’s history book—accurate records of human history and every human life. These are the books Jesus said we should rejoice that our names are written in. Making it into God’s history book is far better than making it into man’s.

Revelation_22-12: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be

Revelation_22-12: And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be

How would our lives be different if we were focused more on being known by God rather than known by men? The Lord said many would come to Him on the Judgment Day boasting of how many great works they had done in His name, but He would say to them, “Depart” because He never knew them (see Matthew 7:22-23). Their problem was not that they did not know the Lord, but the Lord did not know them. How could that be?

Revelation_21-4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

Revelation_21-4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

The Greek word translated as “knew” does not mean He did not know who they were, but it is a deeper knowing such as between a husband and wife. Great Christian lives are not based on what we do as much as what we become. Are we becoming more like Him because we are getting closer to Him and are being changed by His glory?

The greatest Christian lives will be most like Christ. This happens as we draw near to Him, and as He promises, He draws near to us. We are changed by seeing His glory. As we see in the Gospels, the miracles and works of the Lord were often described as revealing His glory, so drawing near to Him includes being used by Him to do His works. Even so, the works are the fruit of our relationship, not just a matter of learning procedures, or being diligent.

A fruit tree bears fruit because it is a fruit tree. It does not strain or strive to produce fruit. Producing fruit is the result of what it is, not what it does. A good tree planted in good soil will produce good fruit. As we keep knowing the Lord and drawing closer to Him, the fruit will naturally come. As He said in John 15, if we are not bearing fruit, it is because we are not abiding in Him. The works of the Lord are not what we do for Him, but what we do with Him.

Processing Pains! Forgiveness

Luke_6-37: Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven

Luke_6-37: Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14

1-John_1-9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

1-John_1-9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

When past injustices have caused you pain, you often seek to bury them in the deep recesses of your mind. It’s not the way to handle things, however, and almost always when you bury things, it allows your pain from the past to translate into mistakes and suffering in the future. You become powerless against the strength of your inner turmoil and can lose control of the very feelings you’ve tried to hide.

What do you do to distract yourself from unresolved pain? There may be strong emotions that you don’t know how to process appropriately, so you simply try to stuff them down inside. Eventually these feelings are expressed in one way or another. Be honest about your past hurts, express your feelings, confront when necessary, and work through forgiveness, it’s probably the most important thing to learn to do.

May God Bless Nigeria, America And Israel And Take Care Of Us; May God Make His Face Shine Upon Us, And Be Gracious To Us; May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon Us, And Give Us Peace, In Jesus Christ Name, We Pray! Amen!

Nobody Like Jesus! Christians in Antioch

John_11-25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live

John_11-25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live

Many people have made  significant impacts on our world. But no one has had a greater effect than Jesus, whose birth, death, and resurrection have been transforming lives for 2,000 years.

John_14-6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

John_14-6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

Around the world, Christ’s name marks those who are His followers, going back to the earliest days of the church. “When [Barnabas] had found [Saul], he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch” (Acts 11:26).

Acts_16-31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house

Acts_16-31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house

Those who bear Christ’s name identify with Him because we have been changed by His love and grace. We declare to the world that He has made an eternal difference in our lives and we long for that in the hearts of others too.

   Prayer:

Father, give me the grace and wisdom to honor You. May my life be so marked by the person of Christ that His great name—and salvation—will be embraced by others as well, Amen!

Followers of ChristChristians—are marked by His name.

You can make a difference.

As Arrows Are In The Hand Of A Mighty Man So Are Children Of The Mighty Man

Proverbs_22-6: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

Proverbs_22-6: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”

 Proverb 22:6

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

The scripture says as arrows are in the hand of a mighty man so are children of the mighty man. But you know that an arrow cannot shoot itself but must be shot by somebody. Until an arrow is shot it cannot hit a target. The owner of an arrow is the one who sharpens it and directs it at the target he wants to hit. The scripture above says train up a child in the way he should go. This speaks of a two way responsibility between parents and children.

As a child you are expected to willingly submit yourself to your parents so that they can propel you as a mighty instrument to hit a target. It requires willing submission. In other words, no matter how intelligent or talented you may be, no matter how much the Lord has invested in you, no matter the purpose and design He has for you, you may end up not getting to your destination in life, if not properly directed. So, that places the responsibility on you to submit so that you can be properly directed.

Children are prone to a lot of things. And in this day and hour there are a lot of things begging for their attention. There are distractions here and there; technology distraction and peer pressure. If care is not taken, they will go in the wrong direction and end up becoming nobody in life. This is not because God has not planned something great for their lives but because they did not submit to the mighty man who is supposed to shoot them. One of the Hebrew translations of the sentence “train up a child” says it is not about bending of the will but to give the child a taste of what you want him to become. For instance when you want a child to love a particular kind of meal you have to keep feeding him that meal and when he grows up he will get used to it. Beloved, the time to start feeding your child with spiritual food is now while he is still a child and by the time he grows up, he would have become used to it. Don’t wait, start now.

Depend Absolutely On God Knowing That Without Him You Can Do Nothing

Psalms_23-5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Psalms_23-5: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

“….As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”

1 Kings 17:1 (KJV)

By the declaration of one mortal man, there was no rain, no abundance and no prosperity. And there was famine all over the land. But Elijah’s case was different. Although there was famine in the land, it was minus Elijah. He was sustained by a raven that brought him bread and meat daily until the brook dried up. That is the God you serve!

When you are connected to El-Shaddai, you cannot be stranded. He is the All Sufficient One. Even when the brook eventually dried up God moved His servant Elijah to Zarephath to be sustained by a poor widow. God demonstrated once again that He is the All Sufficient One. In the very place where there was scarcity, He brought abundance.

One of the decisions you must take as a believer is to get your priorities right. First and foremost learn to depend absolutely on God. We live in a time when everything is failing. There is practically nothing you can rely on today. Money is failing! Human projections and postulations are failing. You must, therefore, focus totally and depend absolutely on God knowing that without Him you can do nothing. You need to stop trying to make things happen by yourself or look up to other people to fix things for you. Understand that it is only what God does, that will last.

I therefore challenge you not only to know this multi-faceted God for yourself but to ensure you stay connected to Him. This is vitally important if you must experience the glory that is to come. Beloved, the scriptures must be fulfilled, so understand that it will get darker in the world but God does not expect you to get confused or caught unguarded. Yes it will get darker in the world but be assured that God will throw His weight behind those who trust in Him.

Stand Hot And On Fire For God

Ephesians_2-8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians_2-8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went”.

Hebrews 11:8 (KJV)

Have you ever wondered why Abraham walked with God in a way no other person did? No doubt, Abraham caught a revelation that this God was different from all the other little gods he was used to. Abraham must have asked himself; why would a Holy God choose to call me out of an idolatrous background? Don’t forget that it was God who initiated the move. It was God’s idea from the very beginning.

Beloved, it is not about what you do or about your love for God. It is really knowing the love of God for you, which He demonstrated in Christ. The love of God to us is so deep that many people have not come to terms with it. That is why there is a lot of struggle. Think of it. If you understand the love that stooped so low when you were nothing and picked you up. The love that reached out to you even when you did not know it existed. When you realize how much God loves you like Abraham realised, the struggle comes to an end. The song writer said it is so high, I can’t get over it, so deep, I can’t get under it, so wide I can’t get around it, Oh wonderful love. When you comprehend just about 10% of this love, you will realise how much God is willing to do for you, and you will enter into His rest. Your assignment is to walk in His love and know that He will take care of all that concerns you.

Let me, however, add that the fact that God has spoken to you about a greater dimension of His glory does not mean the devil will fall down and play dead. No! He will attempt to contradict what God said through contrary situations and challenges. But you must stand on the word. Resist him and he will flee from you. Don’t lose faith. Stand hot and on fire for God. Embrace commitment over convenience. Let the devil know that you are not slowing down neither are you giving in. Stand firm and see the salvation of God.

I declare that you will not remain where you have always been because a change is coming to you. You will break loose from everything that had hitherto hindered you. Your rising begins now! You will win in the competitions of life. Head or tail you cannot lose.

When last did God come down to see what you are building?

Hebrews_11-6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him

Hebrews_11-6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him

“And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded”.

Genesis  11:4-5 (KJV)

In Genesis 11, a group of people came together and decided to build a tower that would reach unto heaven and they began to build. God had to come down to look at the tower. What they were building was so significant and so powerful that it caught God’s attention. And God said something very interesting, “Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. When last did God come down to see what you are building. This people were building a city and a tower and they desired that it would reach unto heaven. Heaven stood at attention and said look lets go and see what they are up to.

When last did you build something or were engaged in anything that heaven had to stop and say look lets go and check that guy out. When last did you sing or pray or give that it caught heaven’s attention. It is not every praying that catches heavens attention. It is not every singing that catches heaven’s attention. And it is not every giving that catches heaven’s attention. It is not every sacrifice and not every commitment. There are commitments and there are commitments. There is giving and there is giving. There is singing and there is singing.

Child of God, when last were you involved in anything that heaven had to stop? Heaven stopped for these men. You too can catch heaven’s attention today. Set you mind on Christ. Set your mind on the Word. Imagine great things. Accomplish great things. I declare to you that your effort will catch heaven’s attention today. Heaven will stand still for you and you will rejoice in Jesus name.

What type of mind do you have? The bible tells us in the book of Proverbs 23:7, that as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. In other words, you are a product of your thought pattern. You cannot go above your thought pattern. If you believe in your thinking that you cannot, you will not. If you believe in your thought pattern that things are working against you, then that’s what will happen to you and that’s what that scripture is saying.

If you believe you will die a poor man that is what will happen to you. If you believe you will not get married and that it is too late for you; that is what is going to happen. If you believe in your mind that you are not going to have a baby, you will go without a baby. Because as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. What you continually think on will eventually manifest. It is just a matter of time.

In Genesis 11, a group of people came together and decided to build a tower God had to come down to look at the tower. What they were building was so significant and so powerful that it caught God’s attention (vs 5). And God said something very interesting which also applies to us. “and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do (Vs 6). God himself is saying that what they have imagined to do; they cannot be stopped. What they have agreed that they want to do and are single minded about; nothing can stop them. God himself had to stop them otherwise they would have done it. Why? As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.

The greatest thing that should happen to you after your salvation is for you to have a renewed mind. Your mind has to be renewed. You must develop the mind of Christ. The mind of the anointed one and His anointing. The problem of majority of people in the church is that they are saved but carrying the mind of the world. Your ability to float and stand above the challenges of life is predicated on what you do with your mind. You can be saved, be a candidate of heaven but still live a defeated life here on earth. So many church folks have been defeated because they refused to develop the mind of Christ.

Get in the Word today. Stay in the Word and develop the mind of Christ and you will watch every mountain bow before you in Jesus name.

Looking back is a mark of defeat. When you look up God himself will show you His salvation. When you look ahead of you, you will move towards your goal and you will realise your destiny. God told Abraham, Look up from where you are. Do not bother about the situation you are in. Look northward, southward, eastward, westward. As far as your eyes can see will I give to you. There is so much in the land that you are looking at. Lot may have taken what looks better but let me tell you there is so much underground.

Psalms_28-7: The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Psalms_28-7: The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Do you know that the same land that Abraham took is the present Saudi Arabia today with all the wealth therein? As at that time there was no visible oil wells there. But God who gave it saw beyond the sand he knew there were wells there. You are loaded. Go forward! Stop looking behind. There is nothing behind. Move ahead. Move on. They shut the door against you, go forward. Someone disappointed you, go forward. I have not seen a person who is involved in a race looking back and running at the same time who will get there first. Keep running, that’s what God said.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalms 1:1-3). You see when you became a child of God you were automatically born into royalty there are things that are automatically yours by virtue of the seed you carry. They are yours.

God is going to surprise the world. The last time I read my bible it says unto principalities and powers will be made known by the church the manifold wisdom of God (Ephesians 3:10). God is going to demonstrate his wisdom through the church. That is why the world is getting darker. That is why they are running ahead and we seem to be behind. Get ready. Time is going to be compressed and you will overtake them. A little that you will do would produce plenty, just a little effort. You will break-forth to the left, break-forth to the right; break-forth to the front and expand in every area.

Calvary greetings to you and your family in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  I’m a great fan of you. I love what you do and I pray for more grace of God in your life and the life of your family. Please I have a question is it Lawful for someone to get married to his or her cousin. The relationship is very distant (the grandfather of the Woman is a younger brother to the man’s Grandmother and the father of the man is a cousin to the father of the woman i.e 1st cousin While the children of the first cousin are the once that intend to get married) please I really need a clear answer to this question because there are examples of people that were married from their family. Eleazar’s daughters each married first cousins, as they were instructed ( 1 Chronicles 23:22).

See below

Forbidden Marriages Scripture

Between parents and children –Leviticus 18:7-8

Between stepparents and stepchildren- Leviticus 18:8, 17

With your paternal or maternal aunt-Leviticus 18:12-13

With your uncle or aunt –Leviticus 18:14

Between brother and sister and half-brother and half-sister-Leviticus 18:9

Between stepbrothers and stepsisters-Leviticus 18:11

With your daughter-in-law –Leviticus 18:15

With your sister-in-law –Leviticus 18:16

With your granddaughter –Leviticus 18:10

With your step-granddaughter –Leviticus 18:17

However, it’s important to remember that many laws do condemn this type of marriage and Christians are commanded to “Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men” (1 Peter 2:13-15, See also Romans 13:1-2). Please give biblical evidence of your answer.

Thanks

Yours Fan

God Is Committed To Bringing To Pass Every Promise He Has Made Concerning You. No One Has Ever Served God And Gone Away Empty Handed

Hebrews_6-10: For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister, God Cares

Hebrews_6-10: For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister, God Cares

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”

Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)

I know that you may still have unanswered questions in your heart about why this and that thing has not happened yet, but I want to remind you that the God you serve is still faithful, just and righteous. The scriptures in Psalms 36:6 declare that His righteousness is like the great mountains which cannot be moved. God is committed to bringing to pass every promise He has made concerning you. You can indeed stake your life on what He has said and not see shame. No one has ever served God and gone away empty handed. Men may have laughed at you, mocked or ridiculed you but I encourage you to hang in there because it is the dawn of a new day. I encourage you to expect great things to happen to you. Remember that expectation is the mother of miracles, so don’t cancel yourself out. It may be tough out there in the world, but for you it will be different. You may not know how or when, but I can assure you that He will do it in your life.

The last time I checked the scriptures, I saw that Esther, though, a slave girl, rose to the position of a queen in a foreign country. Think about it! It had never happened before. It was a new thing. God was at work in her life. Grace was speaking for her and the king had no choice than to choose her from among the whole lot. That same grace will single you out for favour. The scripture also tells us that David, though an ordinary shepherd boy was catapulted by the grace of God to the throne of Israel. It had never happened before for the last child in a family to ascend to the throne. What is that saying to you? Understand that God can turn around your situation overnight. It may never have happened in your family before, but that is what makes Him God. David was the least in his family but when it comes to God, He is at liberty to bless whom He chooses to bless.

Everyone around you may be failing, but that is not your portion. You are different! Beloved, you have heard the testimonies of others; let me also assure you that we will hear yours also.

Your Morning Of Joy Has Come. The Lord Has Chosen To Remember You. Get Set For Your Miracle Because It Shall Surely Come

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

Proverbs_10-22: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it

“Therefore thy gates shall be open continually they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.”

Isaiah 60:11 (KJV)

Beloved, oftentimes we feel that God is too slow in coming through with His word. Many times we even feel God does not bother about how we feel, let alone do something about our situation. The result is that we cancel ourselves out from ever receiving from Him. Today, I want to give you an assurance from God’s word that He is still committed to bringing to pass every word He has spoken concerning your life. His word to you today is that your gates shall be open continually. Gates represent the place of authority where far reaching decisions are taken. Gates also represent access to and from a city. For as long as the gates to a city are open, you can be sure that socio-economic activities would never cease. In like manner understand that for as long as your gates are open, the forces {substance, resources, wealth, tribute and allegiance} of the Gentiles and their kings would come to you in Jesus name.

Yes, it may appear long, but like the Psalmist said, weeping may endure through the night but joy comes in the morning. Your morning of joy has come. The Lord has chosen to remember you. Get set for your miracle because it shall surely come. The Gentiles and the sons of all those that afflicted you, shall come bowing down before you. Your gates have been thrown open. So get ready for you shall be sustained with the riches from afar. You will no longer work like an elephant and eat like an ant. There shall be no more empty barrel for you. The days of barely making it are over in your life. The Lord your God will increase you and you will possess the West and the South.

Child of God, get ready for wealth transfer; for you will suck the milk of the gentiles and you will suck the breast of kings. The miracles that hitherto looked impossible are about to become the order of the day in your life. Indeed, those things that you have put on the shelf and termed impossible, are the very things that God would bring to pass that you might know that He is God. Every desire of your heart shall be granted. You will not be denied. I challenge you today to believe God for the impossible. God is not a man to lie neither is He the son of man to repent. What He has said He would do in your life will surely come to pass.

How Much Do You Love God? How Much Are You Willing To Sacrifice Just To Show You Love Him? God Is Calling Every Believer To A Life Of Sacrifice

Matthew_22-37-3: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind

Matthew_22-37-3: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind

“He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”

John 21:16 (KJV)

The kingdom of God is not a game of convenience think of it. Somebody paid the price with His own blood. It is not something you play with or handle with kid’s gloves. It is serious business. God is calling every believer to a life of sacrifice. I challenge you today to go out of your way to serve God with all your heart, whether it is convenient or not. He deserves the best because He gave you His best; JESUS. The question you should ask yourself sincerely is; how much do I really love Him?

Remember that the scriptures say in John 3:16 “for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son.” Child of God, there is no way you can demonstrate love without giving something. When God was to show us how much he loved us, He gave His only Son to die for our sins. Thank God for this great love. Otherwise, where would you be today? In the same way, God wants you to spread His love to the world. If you truly love Jesus, then show it. Show it in your service to Him. Show it in evangelism. Show it as you lead your group. Show it in your relationship with your fellow members. Many times we pay lip serve to loving God. We claim to love God but we do not show His love to those around us. You cannot say you love God, if you do not show His love to your world.

Think of it! When last did you go through your wardrobe to look for very good clothes to bless someone with? When last did you enter a boutique to get a gift for someone who cannot afford it? When the festive seasons are approaching have you ever thought of how to ensure a family has a meal on their table? Are you just consumed with yourself, me, myself and I? Your love for God is also evident in your worship. When we talk about worship, I am not talking about singing slowly. The quality of your worship in songs, in offerings, in tithes all goes to show how much you love God. You cannot claim to love God and keep your money away from Him. No, your love for God must be total.

I encourage you to take a moment and think about the question today: how much do you love God? How much are you willing to sacrifice just to show you love Him? If there are areas that indict you, make amends today and love Him totally and completely. Let God depend on you in season and out of season. As you do that, He will certainly come through for you. I bless you.

God Does Not Want Fair Weather Christians

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

“… Neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing…”

2 Samuel 24:24 (KJV)

As we climax the age you would also begin to observe that the love for self would gradually increase to the extent that people would slow down in their commitment to the things of God. Today I want to ask you a few questions. Please be very honest with yourself. What is your driving force for service to God? Is it convenience or conviction? Can God truly depend on you to serve Him whether it is convenient or not?

Some people serve God only when it is convenient. In other words, they say to themselves; now that I have a spouse, child, or dream job, I can now serve God. On the other hand, once it is no longer convenient, I stop serving God. When everything is working well and on target, I will serve God. I will serve God when the going is good. I will serve God as long as the testimonies keep rolling in. I call such people fair weather- Christians.

There is another group of fair weather Christians who serve God just to solve a challenge in their lives. When praying for a life-partner, a job, a child or a business breakthrough, they are ready to do anything, even keep vigils every single night in a week. But the moment they get the answer, off they go. Is it not an irony that the blessing they were praying for becomes the reason why they are no longer available to God? You hear things like: it is because of the demands of the job or the child cries ever so often so I cannot leave him/her in the house alone, so I stay back. Or worse still you hear those in business tell you how the business meetings they scheduled clashed with the assignment that they have in church and guess which one gives way; the church.

Beloved, if you are in this category, I come today to encourage you to make a U-turn for the better. God does not want fair-weather Christians. You are either for Him or against Him. You cannot sit on the fence. You either serve God totally and unreservedly or you forget it. Learn from David. He got an offer to sacrifice to God but he looked at the offer and said, I will not offer to God that which will cost me nothing“. Beloved, your service to God must go beyond convenience; or else it is not acceptable.
