Psalms 15. What God requires. The character of those who may dwell with the LORD

A Psalm of David

1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. 3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. 4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. 5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the…

Matthew 2. The Three Wise Men From The East

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a…

Matthew 3. The Preaching Of John The Baptist

1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4 And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath…

1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and…

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way– Psalm 37:23

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his wayPsalm 37:23

God‘s will is to lead you on a day-by-day basis. He’s given His Spirit to guide you every day.

Most believers don’t know that. They expect God to reveal His complete will for their lives in one big revelation. Don’t make that mistake. Don’t just sit around waiting for God to show you whether or not He wants you to go to Africa for the rest of your life.

Let Him begin to lead you in little things first, to tell you what you need to do about this situation or that one. He’ll show you what you need to change. And, as He does, you’ll change one thing at a time.

The truth is, you probably already know one thing God wants you to do. You might not…

The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
Proverbs 28:1

One of my greatest inspirations of boldness is John the Baptist. He was not someone that the world considered special. He dressed strangely and ate strange food. He didn’t have any special gifting. He preached about God’s kingdom, boldly carrying out what his King had called Him to do. John the Baptist didn’t care what people said or what they thought. It didn’t matter how uncool it was, how undesirable it was, or how bad people hated him. He was even thrown in jail for what he said and later beheaded because of his boldness.

Another one of my Bible heroes is the Apostle Paul who wrote these words in his letter to…

Let your dream in life be for people to see Jesus Christ in you

Let your dream in life be for people to see Jesus Christ in you.

Read:  1 Timothy 3:15

Jesus is The Word, The Truth Of God, made flesh. The Bible describes Him as the reflection of God’s glory and the exact likeness of His being (Hebrews 1:3). In other words, when He walk the streets of Jerusalem, He was the perfect representation of God’s personality. The truth is still moving upon the face of the earth today through you and I.

The Bible described the Church of Jesus Christ as the pillar and ground of truth (1 Timothy 3:15). We’re the expression or representation of truth for we’re the temples of the living God (1 Corinthians 6:19). Therefore, we’re responsible for delivering men and women around the world into their inheritance in Christ Jesus and liberating them from every form of bondage…

Whenever a believer speaks in tongues, he charges up his spirit like a battery!

Whenever a believer speaks in tongues, he charges up his spirit like a battery!

Whenever a believer speaks in tongues, he charges up his spirit like a battery. This kind of charging can be described as quick charging. Long charging requires fasting, careful planning, and prayer but if you need a quick charge, all you have to do is to speak in tongues. If you were going for an interview and discovered you were feeling nervous, just begin to speak in tongues. Very shortly you will be turned to another man. The Bible says “He that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself” (1 Corinthians 14:4).

Speaking in tongues is a sign. It is the rest with which the weary is caused to rest. It’s possible for a believer to think he has a lot of problems to pray about and if he doesn’t mention all them, God

Be set free

In Mark 1:23-26 there is a story about a demoniac, a man who was imprisoned by the devil. He was totally demon possessed until he met Jesus. When we think of demon possession, we know the person has been possessed by the devil, and we think of the devil as having ownership over a life. This is true, but often the things leading up to demon possession are not considered or recognized.

There are things that come by mere thoughts, things the devil brings to a person’s mind that may go largely unnoticed. The person accepts the thoughts, even thinking the thoughts are their own, and the thoughts are not dealt with. The thoughts turn into a habit, and the habit turns into an obsession, and the obsession turns into a bondage, an addiction, a prison, and even…

True Christianity; The Revelation of Eternal life!

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God (1 John 5:13)

Sometimes, we hear people say that Christianity is one of the great religions of the world. As a result, they refer to one who is a Christian as a religious person. But Christianity is not a religion. There’s absolutely nothing religious about Christianity. True Christianity, first of all, is the revelation of eternal life. True Christianity means that an eternal God has taken up His abode in the quarters of a man’s spirit.

True Christianity is not a way of worship, nor is it a way of serving God. It is the pulsating life of God…

Happiness

I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me

“But I trust in Your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me.” Psalm 13:5-6

One of the greatest ways that we as Christians can love God is to enjoy Him. How does obedience glorify God if there is no joy? How does service glorify God with no joy? How does giving glorify Him without joy? Our lives ought to be a song of joyful praise to our God, for who He is and for what He has done.

God designed man to find his supreme happiness in Him alone. But sin robbed man of the joy that only God can give. Satan convinced our ancestors in the Garden of Eden that they could invent some kind of happiness apart from God. He deceived…

Believe in yourself

For we are God’s (Own) handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, (born anew) that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us…. (Ephesians 2:10 AMP).

One of the biggest and most mind-blowing truths of the gospel, ever to be communicated to us from the Word of God is that as Christians, we’re actually God’s own handiwork. We’re His reproduction; His perfectly crafted and excellently created masterpiece. When you know this, you’ll believe in yourself, and value yourself more. In your life, never think failure! God has never made a failure; therefore, you should not fail.

You were created for success and the good life. Sickness, poverty, disease, death and the down-life are not consistent with your true nature and identity; therefore never condescend to their level. God made you for His glory…

Do not yield to the devil’s accusations

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night” (Revelation 12:10)

One of the devil’s key strategies is to keep people in bondage to their past by reminding them of their sins. He’ll haunt you with the thoughts and pictures of your wrongs. He’ll always tell you how useless you are and give you more than enough reasons why you would fail in life.

But you shouldn’t allow the devil give you a bad day through his railing accusations. God’s calling upon your life was clearly stated before the world began; He already determined…
