And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free (John 8:32)

The Word of God liberates men from the bondage of sin, condemnation, sickness, poverty, discouragement and failure; it is the liberating truth. However, you can only walk in the liberty that you know. You see, that a slave was set free doesn’t mean he’ll enjoy his liberty. This is because liberation begins from the mind; there must be a change in his way of thinking to have any lasting change in his lifestyle. In the same vein, though man was liberated legally from the shackles of satan more than two thousand years ago, he may not enjoy his liberty vitally until he accepts, understands and endorses the legal document that guarantees his freedom; that document is The Word of God!

It’s my pleasure to announce to you today that condemnation, sin, every form of sickness…

Christ is made unto us wisdom

But of Him (God) are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30)

The Bible says Christ Jesus is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

Wisdom!

“Christ is made unto us wisdom” means that Christ has become our wisdom. Therefore, we do not function with human wisdom but with an excellent wisdom. You see, a lot of Christians were never taught how to take advantage of that which Christ has made available to them. When you learn to take advantage of this excellent wisdom, you’ll always know the right thing to do.

The Bible says, “A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool’s back” (Proverbs 26:3). The type of rod this scripture is referring to isn’t…

Fight the good fight of faith

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12)

Throughout the New Testament Scriptures, the only fight we’re told to fight is the good fight of faith; and the Bible clearly states that it’s a good fight. This means it’s a worthy fight to be fought; more so, we’re on the winning side.

The flesh, the world and its systems, the devil and his cohorts have all been overcome for us by our LORD Jesus Christ. Now the only thing left for you to do is to appropriate all that Christ has accomplished on your behalf. This means that you see what He has given you and hold on to them in spite of everything that your physical senses…

Don’t Give Up!

Galatians 6:9

So, let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest.”

Don’t give up! God has harvest your in store for you! The deeper the
foundation is, the higher the building. Many give up right before
their breakthrough; don’t let that be you! You could be one step
of obedience away from your due season!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God And His Word are One

Prayer's avatarPrayer Haven

Jesus is considered by scholars such as Weber ...

God And His Word are One

God and His Word are One (John 1:1). In the book of Genesis, God fashioned the whole creation by His Word. When He said, “Let there be light!” And light appeared (Genesis 1:3) and every other creation came into existence through His Word. In fact, all of God’s creation is kept in its place and maintained together in perfect harmony by the Word (Hebrews 1:3).  God’s Word is so powerful!

Now, Romans 10:8 says, “……The Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach).” In other words, this all-powerful Word of God is not far from you at all; it’s in your heart and your mouth. That means you can turn the circumstances of your life around to your favour. Just thinking about this alone…

The darker the night, the brighter the light

For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do all things without murmuring and disputing: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:13-15)

If you observe the trend around the world today, it’s though man has finally descended into the deepest depth of corruption, moral decadence and wickedness. Amidst all these, the Bible assures us of victory for we’re not subject to the circumstances of this world; we’re born of the Spirit of God.

We need to learn to think smartly and wisely because of the day we’re living in. we need to realize that the corruption, insincerity or wickedness around us isn’t any problem…

It’s time for your miracle

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened (Luke 11:10)

I have good news from the LORD for you today. The message is that you should get ready, for you are a qualified candidate for a miracle. “How do I qualify for it?” you may want to ask. You were qualified the moment you believed in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the real miracle worker; He is the Healer.

When you trust the LORD for a miracle, He’ll certainly give it to you. You see, the LORD specializes in doing miracles and He always want His children to live fulfilled lives. Our LORD Jesus said to His disciples, “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be…

God delights in your prayers

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is His delight (Proverbs 15:8).

Prayer is a spiritual exercise based on man’s communion or fellowship with God. It could be in the form of request, supplication, praise or thanksgiving. Now, the Bible says that the prayer of the righteous is God’s delight. What makes the prayer of the righteous delightsome isn’t just its content, but the one who’s praying.

You see, the delight of a father is in the request of his children. In other words, every time you want something and you go to your father, as against going to a stranger, he is happy. No father is happy when his child goes to a stranger to ask for clothes or money or food. Likewise, the delight of our Heavenly Father

God Never Changes!

Why Pray?

Read: Hebrews 6:17

“To those who were to receive what He promised, God wanted to make it very clear that He would never change His purpose; so He added His vow to the promise”

Although God will never change His overarching plans and purposes, Scripture passages abound that show how God sometimes alters His plans on a limited basis in response to our faith and actions.

For example, He reverses His judgment because of sincere repentance of sinners, such as when the city of Nineveh believed God and repented so that God withheld judgment. At other times, He responds to the needs of human beings or the fervent prayer of the righteous, as illustrated by the parable Jesus told about the widow who persistently pled with the judge for…

Go for God’s kind of knowledge!

A hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. (Proverbs 11:9).

In Matthew 22:29, Jesus said “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures…..” He’s letting us know that the reason people make mistakes and go wrong in their choices and action is their ignorance of God’s Word. Those who lack accurate and relevant spiritual information from God’s Word have unwittingly programmed themselves for failure in life.

A man’s problem is not anything but what he doesn’t know. In other words, your limitation in life is your lack of relevant and accurate knowledge of God’s Word; for when you get to know, that knowledge delivers you. Knowledge is power! I’m talking about knowledge of God’s Word. The Bible says through it, shall the just be delivered; not from trouble…

No more sleepless nights

Casting the whole of your care (all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all) on Him, for He cares for you affectionately (and) cares about you watchfully (1 Peter 5:7)

I believe one of the greatest things in life is to know that you are loved by God, the Creator of the universe. The Bible says He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. This world is full of troubles and you will face different challenge as long as you’re living in it. But the good news is that Jesus overcame the world for your sake (John 16:33). Therefore, you should no longer have sleepless nights over any situation in your life.

Some people find it difficult to sleep when they are confronted with challenges. Such people are oblivious to the fact that they…

The Bible is a manual for living. Christians need to read the Bible to discover the wells of truth flowing from its pages. The Bible tells us God‘s view of life. It tells us His desires and His promises for His children.
All the knowledge you need can be found within the pages of this precious book. God in his infinite wisdom gave us a manual on how to correctly apply knowledge God’s way, and that is True Wisdom. Those who fail to utilize the Bible rob themselves of divine wisdom and are filled with only man’s limited knowledge.

Obedience to God is an expression of our love for Him

Obedience to God is an expression of our love for Him

READ:1 John 2:3-11

Whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. —1 John 2:5

The apostle John wrote his first epistle to encourage believers not to just look like real Christians, but to prove they are genuine by how they live. The evidence that a person’s faith is real is not found in some mystical experience with God. The proof that people truly know and love God is found in submitting to His authority and to His Word. John writes, “But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as…

God’s Kind Of Faith

God’s Kind Of Faith

Matthew 8:9-10, “For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”

MATTHEW 8:5-13, LUKE 7:1-10

There were only two things in all of scripture that caused Jesus to marvel. They were (1) the Centurion’s faith and (2) the Jews’ unbelief (Mk. 6:6). A faith that made Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith, marvel is worth examining. This centurion believed that the spoken word of Jesus was sufficient to produce his miracle…

Get Ready! Jesus Is Coming Soon

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 25:13.
This verse concludes the parable of the ten virgins, where five had oil
in their lamps and were ready to go out, and five were foolish and
missed the marriage.

In the seven churches Jesus addressed in
Revelation 2 and 3, there were people in every church who had received
eternal life, whose names were written in the book of life. Satan had
infiltrated six of those churches, and to those Jesus said: “To him
that overcometh those issues….” The overcomer was found ready.
This verse contains the point of the parable: watch therefore. In other
words, be ready, because you don’t know the time when the…

Time and Opportunities

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. (Psalms 32:6)

Read: Numbers 14:35-45

Time is an asset given by God to man. However, its illusionary static nature when considered over a short span deceives men. Time is slowly ticking away, quickly converting every second in the present into a thing of the past. How you relate with time will determine whether you will succeed or not. In Numbers 13 and 14, God asked the children of Israel to go and possess the Promised Land, a great opportunity. So they sent 12 spies to check it out and report back to them. Ten of them gave an evil report by stating all they saw physically and concluding that it would…

All Our Enemies Shall Flee

“I will make the people who oppose you afraid of me; I will bring confusion among the people against whom you fight, and I will make all your enemies turn and run from you. (Exodus 23:27)

Read:  Exodus 23:27-30

One of the benefits of God’s presence is fame. In the world, people go to ridiculous extent just to be famous; but do you know that if you can pay the price to be a carrier of God’s presence, you will attract honour, fame, popularity, promotion and joy? Joshua became famous through God’s presence.

“Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD God Almighty……..The One who always was, who is, and who is still to come,” (Revelation 4:8)

Isaiah was a prominent citizen of Judah during the eighth century B.C., a prophet of God. Today, we would consider him one of the “spiritual elite.” Isaiah was focused on the sins of others, calling them to repentance.
But at one point, Isaiah had a vision of heaven and the holiness of the GOD ALMIGHTY. Now that he found himself in the very presence of our Holy God, he became dramatically aware of his own sin and unrighteousness. As the seraphim flew they were saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty.” Terrified, he exclaimed, “My destruction is sealed, for I am a sinful man and a member of a sinful race….I…
