Morning Prayer
Lord, you are the foundation of my life. You are my only hope. I commit myself to you. I rejoice in the mystery of your plan. I worship you for your faithfulness. Thank you for your wonderful works in my life. Thank you that you are always ready to come to my aid and be my refuge. Give me the grace to trust you with my whole life as I say yes to you. Lord, you know my every need and always meet those needs. Help me to shed all earthly desires in life so that I will not fall into the temptations that lead to empty promises. Grant me the wisdom and strength to recognize the dangers that come with material possessions and to freely choose a life of simplicity and detachment. May your holiness be the only treasure I seek, so that I may be drawn into the perfection to which I’m called. Holy Spirit, reveal your work to me even when mysteries surround me.
Open my heart to know you more. Open my eyes to see you. Open my ears to hear you. Open my heart to receive you. Draw me close to you so that my faith makes itself known in every choice I make and every word I speak in the Mighty Name Of Jesus Christ AMEN
