Morning Prayer
Lord of creation, I love you. Each time I see one of your wonders, help me to turn to you in thanksgiving. You bring hope alive in my heart. Widen my heart so that I can give everything to you, holding nothing back. Lord, I adore you for all the works of your hands, that reveal to me your wisdom and power. Fill me with the desire to know you and a longing for you. Purify my heart so that I can live a life pleasing to you. Help me to have concern only for the truth that you establish and to use that as the only measure of my soul. Give me the courage to make my relationship with you my highest goal and my deepest desire. Give me grace to live in your purity now so that I may live forever with you. Holy Spirit, I want my life to be a living statement of who are and what you have done in my life. Hold me close, and keep me always in your presence. I want to abandon myself to your plan. Free me from needless worry and preoccupation. Fill me with your grace and strengthen all that is good in me. May my choices today, be inspired by you and may they all bring glory to your name in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ AMEN
