The Cost of Nigeria Political Alignment: A Commentary on Loyalty, Deception, and the Need for Spiritual Salvation

All these Nigeria politicians decamping and deceiving themselves that they want to properly align their people to the Center, should know you can never satisfy extortionists

They will keep making uncomfortable demands of you until you either:

1). Commit Political Suicide,

2). Damn the consequences and call them bluff. (Which all of you are cowards)

Or

3). Remain their stooges and butt lickers till you outlast your usefulness.

The Choice is yours!

Thank You Jesus,

Salvation Prayers

If you don’t Know Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour and would like to accept him into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour, Please say this prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

No Reason To Fear Child Of God.

“Then said Jesus unto them again, verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:7, 11

Throughout the Bible, particularly the New Testament, God used things that we can readily identify with to speak to us the deep mystery of the Kingdom. Jesus used the everyday things around to teach very deep truths that every believer ought to know. He knew that if you can just catch a glimpse of what He is saying, you will be more effective ministers of the Gospel.

Look at our text again; do you understand the full import of what Jesus was saying? If you truly understand our text for today, you will have no reason to fear anything in life. Let me break it down a little – The sheepfold is a place where the sheep are kept safe. There is an opening into this place through which the sheep is herded in. The good shepherd then sleeps right across that opening in the night. The implication is whenever danger comes the enemy had to first contend with the shepherd before entering the sheepfold. Now you can understand it better when Jesus says He is the door to the sheepfold and the good shepherd.

This means that the good shepherd guarantees the supply of all my needs and he, who is the door to the sheepfold, also guarantees my protection from any evil. Hallelujah! So I can say without any shadow of fear that nothing shall by any means hurt me. The same is true for you, if only you will believe. Beloved, you have no reason to fear.

Matthew 1. The Ancestor Of Jesus Christ

Matthew 1. The Ancestor Of Jesus Christ

1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; 3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; 7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; 8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; 9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; 10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; 11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: 12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; 13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor; 14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud; 15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Is Anything in Life Free Anymore?

By Will Graham

The Easter Sunrise Service has always been one of my favorite services to preach. There’s something so special and unique about gathering to worship the risen Savior on Easter morning. It’s a time when we can focus most on the sacrifice and glorious resurrection of Jesus, which gives us hope and removes the sting of death. I love it!

I remember several years ago when I was in college and dating the beautiful woman who would one day be my bride, Kendra. I took her with me to visit my grandfather, Billy Graham, for Easter in Montreat, N.C.

On our way back to Liberty University that afternoon, we drove up to Boone, N.C., to see my parents. We pulled into a little gas station on the south side of U.S. Route 70 to fuel up and be on our way. I vividly remember standing in line while the people in front of me made friendly conversation with the clerk behind the counter.

“Nothing’s free anymore!” the man chuckled as he handed over the money to pay for his gasoline purchase.

At that moment God told me to speak. My heart cried out to share the Gospel with these people: “Yes, God’s gift of Salvation is free! That’s what Easter is all about! God paid the debt for you through His Son, Jesus!”

My friends, that’s what I should have said.

Sadly, I kept that proclamation to myself. I regret it to this day. God gave me the words to say and wanted me to share His hope on that glorious Easter day with people who likely needed to hear it, but I disobeyed him and kept it silently in my heart. Frankly, I chickened out.

I made a covenant with God that day that if I ever felt Him speaking through me again, I would share it boldly and not hold back. Who knows? Sharing the words He gives us may be the difference between someone spending an eternity in Heaven or in Hell; the difference between a life of hope and a life of discouragement and despair.

As we celebrate Christ’s resurrection this year, I encourage you to listen to God as He speaks to you, and be His mouthpiece as He speaks through you. Easter is what it’s all about, and we need to take every opportunity available to us to share His saving message.

Has God laid on your heart the names of friends and loved ones who need to know Him?

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

May the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!

A
Muslim Boy’s Journey to Christ.

By
The Voice of the Martyrs Canada

Faith

Imagine
what it would be like if your decision to follow Jesus made you an outcast from
your family and even a target for death.

That’s
what happened to a man named Abdu. But the power of love broke down the
barriers and brought him and his family back together.

These
days Abdu and his father, Suleman, spend time praying and studying the Bible
together. Some might call that a miracle since the two did not speak for nearly
20 years.

In
fact, Abdu’s father once tried to kill him. Why? Because at the age of 16 he
decided to leave Islam and follow Jesus.

An
Unexpected Visit

The
young man’s journey of faith began with an unexpected visit.

“I
was sleeping and Jesus woke me up, and it was like a dream or revelation,”
Abdu recalled.

Abdu
gave his life to Christ after reading from a borrowed Bible. His decision made
his family angry because in their Muslim community, leaving Islam brings
disgrace.

“We
didn’t know what kind of belief he brought,” Suleman said. “We were
fundamentalist Muslims and were very upset. That is why we were against
him.”

“Our
neighbors also told us he brought a foreign religion here which is not good,
and they said, ‘Attack him and don’t accept him,'” he said.

His
mother, Semira, was also very upset when she learned her son became a
Christian.

“I
had deep, deep sorrow in my heart because I thought I had lost my boy,”
she said. “I thought we can’t even be buried together when our days are
over. It was a big sorrow at that time.”

Village
leaders tried to intimidate Abdu by ordering a gang of young men to attack him.

“As
I was walking to school, they met me on the road and they beat me very badly
with a rope and made me suffer,” Abdu recalled. “They [asked] me, if
this was my final decision. If I continued to be a Christian, they said they
would take the full measure and would kill [me].”

Still,
Abdu refused to renounce Jesus, and his father became so angry that he tried to
kill him.

“We
chased him out from our home because we didn’t want to be against our
neighbors. He brought different things [here] so we chased him out and he went
to another village,” Suleman said.

During
his years in exile from his family, Abdu worked at a church as a security guard
and grew stronger in his faith. He read more than 100 Christian books and began
discipline other former Muslims who had come to Jesus.

Thawing
Hearts

But
Abdu’s mother missed him terribly, and after many years of separation, she
slipped away to visit her son.

“During
the six years, I had heard that he wasn’t drinking alcohol and doing bad
things,” she said. “But the boys who were his friends here were doing
those things, so I decided to see him secretly.”

Impressed
by the changes in her son’s life, Semira began to consider Christ. However, it
took 10 years before she too would leave Islam to follow Jesus.

“I
believed that the faith of my son was true and correct, but now I had a big
problem with my husband,” Semira said. “But I still decided to follow
Jesus and tried to bring [my husband] to Christ. We showed big love to him and
big changes in our character. This influenced him.”

About
a year later, Suleman’s heart softened under the influence of God’s big love.
Now, he and the rest of his family, about 40 of them, are all Christians.

A
hut on the family property is now a place of worship to the Lord and for
hearing the Gospel.

“I’m
very happy that my family has come to Jesus,” Abdu said. “But the
biggest thing that makes me excited is that near the home [where] I grew up is
a place being used as a church. People are coming and praying and giving their
lives to Christ!”

A
Missionary to Muslims

Abdu
is now a missionary to Muslims in areas that are hostile to the Gospel.

With
help from the Voice of the Martyrs Canada and Scotland, Abdu oversees a
tentmakers’ project for six other former Muslims who are sharing their faith.

“Our
way of bringing people to Christ is not only telling them the Bible, but we
show them big love and share our things with them and also show them the good
life we have in Christ,” Abdu said.

That
approach has been very effective, with thousands of former Muslims responding
to the Gospel.

As
for Suleman, while he and his family are persecuted for the faith, he said he’s
not about to return to Islam and he looks forward to eternity with the Lord.

“The
fundamentalists can do the worst they can to us,” Suleman said. “The
last option for them is to kill us. We don’t mind if they kill us because some
believers will bury us.”

“For
us, it is better with Christ than to live in the community without
Christ,” he said. “We don’t feel fear. These days for us are not a
threat.”

May
GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His
face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance
upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

May
the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the
Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen!

The Wrestling Match By www.girlfriendsingod.com

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. – (Ephesians 6:10-12, NIV)

It was the end of the school year.  The sun was blazing in the sweltering high 80s with not a hint of shade to be found on the treeless playground.  The boys were stinky from their sweaty schoolyard endeavors and the girls were now wilted versions of the fresh flowers they had been that morning.  It was almost time for the big wrestling competition.  Electric excitement lingered in the air.  I was a fifth grader at West Hempfield Elementary School in Irwin, Pennsylvania and I had signed up to participate in the wrestling match.

To this day, I’m somewhat amused and perplexed that I would’ve thrown myself into the middle of such a barbaric display.  Wrestling certainly wasn’t my sport of choice, or even a faint interest of mine.  So, as we all gathered around the red and white striped gymnasium mats for the annual, end-of-the year wrestling tournament, I was sweating bullets…not just from the relentless, yellow ball of heat in the sky, but also from the nerves that consumed my body.

Before the match even began, I was a captive to the bully in my brain.  What do you think you are doing?  This is ridiculous!  Caroline is not only three inches taller than you, but she’s meaner than you, and she’s in the sixth grade!  You are going down, Gwen.  Prepare to be humiliated in front of every fourth, fifth and sixth grader in the school.

At the sound of the whistle, the match was on. Caroline and I danced around like two alley cats with their backs raised high. She had a confidence in her eye that was foreign to me at that moment. A series of unskilled and ungraceful moves followed. (Cringe with me here!) She lunged and I retreated. I lunged and she retreated. Then came contact.  Within seconds we were on our hands and knees battling for control. Battling for the win.

The sounds of the crowd were deafening as Caroline moved in to get the better of me. All I could think was, Just DON’T let her get you on your back! Feelings of hopelessness and desperation flooded my heart as she and I exchanged move for move. There were several points allotted and several restarts from Mr. Gordon’s whistle.  In the midst of this primitive battle, my goal had changed from trying to win to just trying NOT to be pinned…therein lies the defeat.

As the match came to an end and the final whistle blew, it was Caroline’s victorious arm that was raised high in the sky.  I was defeated in front of half the school.  Cheers went up for Caroline as I shrunk back into the sea of students, longing for super powers that would render me invisible.  I was exhausted from the match, humiliated from my failure, and defeated by both Caroline and my own mind.

That was a dark day for me as a young girl.  But as dark as that day was emotionally, I was able to clearly see my opponent.  Ladies, when it comes to spiritual wrestling matches, we do not have the advantage of sight.  The Bible says: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  (Ephesians 6:12, NIV)

Many of the battles we contend with each day are spiritual.  We can’t see our enemy.  And while at first glance this may seem disarming, look again at Ephesians 6.  The Bible clearly tells us that we can be equipped to stand firm with the Armor of God!

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:13-18, NIV)

Though the wrestling match with Caroline seemed overwhelmingly daunting, the battles that I face now are so much greater.  I’m thankful that God’s word clearly says the victory is ours if we are in Christ. If God is for us, who can be against us?

What are you wrestling with today?  Is the enemy speaking lies to you?  Do you feel weak?  Strength comes when we call on Jesus!  We can stand firm against the schemes of the devil when we put on the armor of God!   Suit up girls…a battle is going on all around you.   Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power!

Let’s Pray

Dear Lord, I thank You for being a Mighty God Who longs to cover my weakness with Your strength.  Please equip me for all that lies ahead today, protect me from attacks and schemes of the enemy, and help me to be strong in Your mighty power.  Cover me with Your peace, truth, faith, and salvation so I can stand firm in the battle.

I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus, amen.

Saddened to hear of the passing of one of God’s mighty General on earth, Rev. Uma Ukpai

He was a very charismatic preacher in the 80s and 90s whose message of deliverance liberated lives from the Kingdom of darkness.

Heaven has called His own back.

May his family on earth be comforted. Amen.

Heaven Has Called His Own: A Tribute to God’s Mighty General, Rev. Uma Ukpai

With a heavy heart and profound sense of loss, we confirm the news that one of God’s mighty Generals on earth, Reverend Dr. Uma Ukpai, has passed on to glory. Though we mourn his physical absence, we celebrate the triumphant home-going of a man who dedicated his entire existence to the service of the Almighty King. Heaven has truly called its own back.

Rev. Uma Ukpai was more than just a pastor; he was a phenomenon in the Christian landscape, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s and well into the new millennium. He was a charismatic preacher whose presence commanded attention and whose voice carried a potent message of hope, faith, and, crucially, deliverance. He spearheaded a wave of Pentecostal revival in Nigeria that spread across the globe.

His crusades were not merely gatherings; they were electrifying epicenters of spiritual activity where the power of God was visibly at work. Rev. Ukpai’s message was sharp, direct, and unyielding in its focus on liberating lives from the kingdom of darkness. His ministry was characterized by spectacular demonstrations of healing and deliverance, which liberated countless souls and set many on the path to salvation. He was one of the founding fathers and a key voice within the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), a true statesman of the Gospel.

The legacy he leaves behind is not just in the thousands of lives he touched, but in the boldness and fire he injected into the African gospel movement. He taught us to believe in a God of instant miracles, a God who intervenes in the immediate and the impossible. His life was a testament to the fact that faith is a practical, powerful force capable of turning stones thrown by the enemy into stepping stones for destiny.

We send our heartfelt condolences to the family of Rev. Uma Ukpai, his immediate church members, and the entire body of Christ worldwide. May the Holy Spirit, the ultimate Comforter, wrap His arms around his loved ones on earth and grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. His life was a good fight fought well. Rest on, General.

Thank You Jesus,

Don’t Divorce Your Husband: The Brutal Truth about Life As A Single Mother

Life As a Single Mother Is Hard, Don’t Leave Your Marriage

Married woman, before you exit your marriage, you should know that those women telling you to divorce your husband are unhappy, bitter and angry. They want to ruin your life. Unless it is a case of physical abuse, don’t listen to them. Life as a single mother is HARD.

Don’t Divorce Your Husband: The Brutal Truth About Life As A Single Mother

To the married woman standing at the edge of the abyss, holding divorce papers and listening to the voices of ‘friends’ encouraging you to leave: Stop. Do not take that step.

Before you exit your marriage and walk away from the commitment you made, you need to understand the true motives of the people cheering you on. Those women—the ones who tell you to ‘put yourself first,’ to ‘find your independence,’ and to ‘demand more’—are often unhappy, bitter, and angry. They are seeking company in their misery. They want to ruin your life so their own struggles with divorce and single motherhood feel less isolating. Don’t let their bitterness dictate your future. Unless your marriage involves physical abuse, you must turn a deaf ear to their corrosive counsel.

The truth is stark: Life as a single mother is brutally hard.

It is not the glamorous, independent life portrayed on television or social media. It is a life defined by exhaustion, financial strain, and crushing loneliness. You become the sole provider, the sole emotional rock, and the sole disciplinarian. You lose your financial safety net and your shared parenting duties. Every breakdown in the home, every fever at midnight, every bill, every school concert—it all falls on your shoulders alone. The man who takes your hand after the divorce often vanishes when he realizes the immense work involved in raising another man’s child.

This isn’t an attack on single mothers; it is a warning to married women. I have seen countless women look back with profound regret, realizing too late that the grass was not greener, but simply harder to mow. The problems you face in your marriage—communication issues, frustration, disappointment—are problems you can work on together. The problems you face as a single mother—poverty, exhaustion, and isolation—are problems you will face alone.

Do not trade a difficult marriage for a devastating divorce. Do not choose loneliness over the complex stability of a two-parent household. Choose the hard work of commitment. Choose to fight for your marriage, for your children, and for the life you already built. Don’t let bitter voices or temporary unhappiness destroy the foundation of your family. The cost of ‘freedom’ is often far too high.

“Egbe belu Ugo belu, nke si ibe ya ebela ka nku kwa ya” is an Igbo proverb that means, “Let the kite perch, and let the eagle perch too; if one says to the other that it should not perch, may its wing break”.

It translates also to let’s live in peace and harmony. Respect is sacrosanct.

Nobody has monopoly to madness, but we exhibit self-control. The sky is big enough for everybody!

Luke 6:31: “Do to others as you would have them do to you”.

Matthew 7:12: “In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you, for this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets”

A Way with Words by Kay Campbell

A Way with Words by Kay Campbell

I didn’t even have a ticket when I arrived at my first Women of Faith event in Hartford last year.  I had decided to attend at the very last minute.  I didn’t know anyone there and certainly didn’t know what to expect.

God knew, though.  A multi-sensory spiritual pep rally was in store, complete with soul-stirring worship and heartwarming stories.  In an arena filled with tens of thousands of women, I heard God whispering in my ear and reigniting my passion for writing.

I’ve always loved words-from the time I was a little girl and my father taught me a new word every night when he tucked me into bed.  Now, four decades later, God was reminding me of that love through Women of Faith.

As I experienced the event, descriptive phrases were rolling through my mind like ticker tape:  the litany of lyrics weaving a melodious tapestry; the gifted speakers painting vivid word pictures; the enticing stacks of books inviting me to learn not only about God but also about myself.

When I returned home that evening, I dusted off my journal and began to write letters to God again.  Since then, I’ve written several inspirational stories, one of which was recently published by Guideposts.  I even had the memorable experience of meeting a very special lady whose life was changed by reading my article.

It is my dream to share my stories about faith and hope with others.  I know the Author of life has a plan for me and I want to thank Women of Faith for adding an exclamation point to my journey!

May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
