Are You Sure You Are Heading For Heaven?

We live in a world of very many uncertainties. For example, it is uncertain that a new baby will one day become father or mother of children. Though we say that the young shall grow, we are not sure: because the young may die young. Only God knows tomorrow. Isaiah 46:9-10.

However, certain things are certain now and forever, for example, it is certain that the sun shall rise tomorrow. It is also certain that we will never see today again above all, it is certain that sooner or later, even a child that is born today shall die one day, James 4:13-14.

It is certain that this world is not our home; we are just passing through on a journey to our final home. Now there are two different final homes with different people heading for different homes. One final home is called Heaven or Eternal Life. The other is called Hell or Eternal Destruction, Matthew 7:13-14.

The great question now is, “Where are you heading for? “Where is your final home? Is it Heaven or Hell? Are you sure you are heading for heaven? If you are not sure, you can be sure today. If you think you are sure but not very certain, you can make assurance doubly sure today. This is how to make Heaven, two principal things are essential.

You must be born again John 3:3-8

You must live holy from now on Hebrews 12:14.

Now to be born again, all you need to do is repent of your sins, decide to forsake them and call on Jesus Christ to forgive you and save your soul, Proverbs 28:13; Romans 10:13. Please do that right now and you will begin to enjoy the joy of salvation.

Say this prayer aloud with all sincerity:

Dear Heavenly Father! I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ Your only begotten Son. Your Word says, “…..whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).

I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved,” I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God! I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world! (1 John 4:4). I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

If you have just said this prayer with me CONGRATULATIONS! You are now a child of God.

You are now seated above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named (failure, poverty, sickness, infirmities, limitations, lack, diseases, fear)not only in this age but also in that which is to come with Christ Jesus Our personal Lord and Saviour.  Amen! (Ephesians 1:15-23)

Receive power to succeed in every area of your life. Study your Bible diligently and meditate in it day and night (Joshua 1:8).

And lastly, don’t forget the fellowship of the Saints; prayerfully find and belong to a Bible – faith believing Church and watch God fulfil all His Word concerning You!

Congratulations!!!!

Are You A Leader?

Are You A Leader?

“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen!” (Revelation 1:6)

One commodity the world is in short supply of is good leaders. Even in families, they are needed. A family can be the smallest organisation – comprising the husband and his wife. Yet, if the man lacks leadership skills to provide the required direction, guidance, coordination and control, it may be difficult for the family to realize its collective goal. Every organization is only as good as its leaders. Therefore, it becomes mandatory for future leaders to acquire leadership training, education and skills. To succeed, you will need to learn from those who succeeded or failed and why they had such outcomes.

“For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14). Position of leadership is not meant for all but for the chosen few. In the world, there is a large space for followers, whereas the space reserved for leaders is quite small. But in the Kingdom of God, it is possible for everyone who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour to become a leader. Revelation 1:6 says Christ has made us kings and priests unto God the Father. Every king has his sphere of influence, area of authority, and subjects under him. If you have been saved, then exercise your God-given authority and dominion over sin, sickness, satan, agents of darkness and elemental forces. If they are convinced you know your kingdom rights, they will have no choice but to obey you.

Believers in Christ are destined to reign for 1000 years with the KING of kings during the millennial reign and then eternally with Jesus Christ. In other words, you were born to reign. However, are you preparing for this great leadership opportunity? Some people struggle, fight, malign others and carry out all tricks in the book just to have an opportunity of occupying a leadership position during their lifetime. But after a few years in that position, they become eternally irrelevant. In contrast, you can be relevant today and in eternity. You may not become a president, governor or captain of industry but you can become the spiritual father of the president or governor. You can become the mentor youths would like to pattern their lives after. You can become a reference point standing as light in a dark world. Are you occupying this vantage position?

God sees you as a leader. But if you do not see yourself as such, you may never lead throughout your life.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Divisions Not Allowed In God’s House

Divisions Not Allowed In God’s House

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (Corinthians 1:10)

If there will be unity in a family, church or a group of people, the role of the leader cannot be over emphasized. A leader should be the unifying force over those he or she leads. In this regard, the leader should ensure his subordinates’ opposing or dissenting views are harmonized in a way as to carry all of them along their common objective for being together in the first place. Unfortunately, some leaders deliberately encourage divisions, by sowing seeds of discord and turning one subordinate against the other. They call it divide and rule ‘strategy’. That is satanic! Some leaders encourage or provide the platform for subordinates to create camps. Not Jesus! As long as Jesus was physically present, He was the rallying point of unity for all His disciples. One day, two brother – James and John brought their mother to lobby Jesus, so that they would secure the highest positions in Heaven, right beside the Lord Himself (Matthew 20:20-24). When the other disciples heard of it, they were very angry! That move could have broken the twelve into separate camps. But the Lord handled it with wisdom and they remained united without killing the desire of the Zebedees to attain heavenly greatness.

It is very challenging to unite people with diverse backgrounds, goals, interest and understanding. However, it is very easy to cause division. One hallmark of a true leader is that he or she is not easily carried away by comments or selfish actions of the team he or she is leading, as the group goal is uppermost in his or her heart. Another person who could not stand God’s church being broken into camps was Paul. In His days, converts began to break into at least four different camps right in the church in Corinth but with wisdom, Paul resolved this and unified Christ’s church. Are you instrumental to the division of God’s church? You are calling for God’s judgement. Repent and restitute. Go and meet the people you sowed those seeds of discord into and compel them to reverse their rebellious acts. This will be good evidence of your repentance.

A body that is dismembered cannot operate as whole. A part of the body can never be whole. Division limits us. Strive for peace and unity.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Hospitality Of God’s Children

Hospitality Of God’s Children

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Hebrew 13:2)

One lesson from the story in 1 Kings 17:17-24 is that God rewards the hospitable. The woman who lost her son was a hospitable person. One benefit of hospitality is that hospitable people may not suffer a permanent loss. An example here was Abraham. In Genesis 18:14, Abraham received heavenly visitors and pending promises of many years were fulfilled. Another example was Lot. In Genesis 19:1-22, when he received the angels who came in the form of men, he made a feast. Through his hospitality, he delivered himself and his immediate family from the fire that fell from Heaven on Sodom. Similarly, Cornelius was hospitable and through this, he and his family were saved.

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares”  (Hebrews 13:2). God wants His children to be hospitable. The hospitable have a way of attracting divine visitors such as God, angels or even men of God that can command God’s blessings on them. Hospitable people are generous. They do not have to necessarily have all the money in the world. The little they have is presented with love and with all their heart. They strive to make their guests comfortable. They are prepared to sacrifice for the maximum comfort of their guests. The way they receive the guests will make them want to come back. They would prepare the best meals and present it in a most attractive and healthy way. Where they can, they would do everything to spoil their guests. They would make sure the visitor’s room is swept, cleaned and dusted. The bed is well dressed and inviting. They will wait on their guests throughout their stay. Where they cannot drive them to, they would arrange the cab that would convey them there. Hospitable people are homely and humble. How hospitable are you? Some people do everything just to scare visitors from coming to pay them visits. Are you hospitable? Hospitality should be taught to all your children. It is one of the healthy family values that Christian families must imbibe. How do you receive your pastors and ministers? How do you receive unbelievers in your home? The truth is, through hospitality, the Gospel message can be preached non-verbally and souls of visitors can be won.

If your hospitality cannot attract your visitors to Christ, you are probably not doing it right. Always be prepared to make your guests, even unexpected guest comfortable.

There is no higher authority than God

English: at dusk in Kensington, Maryland, USA.

There is no higher authority than God

God’s Judicial Authority

“I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth.” (Matthew 28:18)

A judge, above all else, must have authority. Our government endows judges with authority through the oath they take to execute justice. The law enforcement and prison systems back up the judge’s authority. The robe that he wears and having everyone in the courtroom stand as he enters, help to emphasize that authority. His gavel and his elevated seat in the courtroom show that he commands the proceedings.
Similarly, God, as the Creator, has the authority to do whatever He deems best with His creation. He is the potter; we are the clay. His throne is high above us in the heavens. His pronouncements are final. There is no higher authority than God.
God will judge every wrong act ever committed every sinful motive, every evil word. The sentence for these crimes is eternal separation from God and His holiness.
But there are those who will live in safety with God. These are the ones who have accepted Christ‘s payment for our sin when He died on the cross. Our loving Saviour, Jesus Christ, paid the sentence pronounced by the Perfect Judge. God sees these “sinners saved by grace” as righteous in His courtroom. Therefore, they will live eternally in the love, peace, and joy of God’s presence.

Your View of God Really Matters……..

Are you ready to stand before the Perfect Judge who has all authority? Remember, God’s standard of justice is perfection. Will He see your shortcomings, or will He see Jesus’ perfect sacrifice? It’s your choice.

is people from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21

It’s hard to imagine what it was like for Jesus to live under the shadow of the cross every day of His life. Even as a lad in Joseph’s carpenter shop, nailing those nails into a piece of lumber, He must’ve thought about the day when those soldiers would drive the nails in His hands and in His feet.

One of my favourite pictures of Jesus portrays Christ as a toddler. It’s the end of the day. He’s playing next to His father, Joseph, in his carpentry shop and the sun is setting. And as Jesus is kneeling down handling some metal spikes, the shadow of a cross is formed on the ground over His shoulder.

Jesus lived everyday of His life in anticipation of that moment when He would give His life on the cross for our sins. So it was no surprise when He, at about 33 years of age, was arrested, beaten, and sentenced to die for the sins of the world.

And even harder than that is to imagine that when He died, He made a way for you to have a relationship with God. So thank Jesus today for what He did for you and, if you haven’t already, accept the gift of salvation He’s given you through His death and resurrection.

There is still an opportunity for you to do so now; just say this prayer of salvation with faith:

“Dear Heavenly Father!

Hallelujah!”

If you have just said this prayer with me CONGRATULATIONS! You are now a child of God.

2 Corinthians 2:14:

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”

Triumph means that we have overcome, and generally it is a glorious victory! So may we have a glorious day today as we walk in the fullness of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Act in a manner befitting your victory.

Be Ready! Jesus Is Coming Soon!

READ: Luke 12:35-40

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. —Luke 12:40

Through the years, quite a few people have predicted the return of Jesus at a specific time. Just last year an American radio preacher stirred up the interest of the mainstream media with his prediction that Jesus would return on May 21, 2011.

Anyone who knows Scripture well knew that this advance warning wasn’t accurate, because Jesus Himself said His return would be “at an hour you do not expect” (Luke 12:40). But I do have to admit that this prediction captured my attention. Often I get so caught up in the busyness of life that I live as though Jesus’ return is some distant reality. I forget that Jesus could come back at any time. The prediction, wrong as it was, reminded me about the importance of being prepared for my Saviour’s return, and it renewed my excitement that it could be any day—even today.

Sometimes when we think of being ready for Jesus’ return, we think about what we shouldn’t be doing. But being prepared is really about purifying ourselves and becoming more and more like Him so we are pleasing to Him when He comes back for us (1 John 3:2-3). Jesus taught that being ready for His return requires living according to our Master’s will now (Luke 12:47). Will we be prepared when it’s time for the real thing? —Joe Stowell

Can God Count on You?

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept
my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of
the synagogue of satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do
lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet,
and to know that I have loved thee.

Revelation 3:8-9

The church at Philadelphia is going to have manifestations of God. Man
cannot stop what God is going to do. Those going the wrong way, those
going the false way, are going to come, see and know that God’s hand is
on them. God said, “I am going to put them right at your feet.” This is
an Overcoming Church. This is a Word Church, a Faithful Church, and a
True Church.

Faithfulness is the character quality that ensures that you do the
right thing, whether anyone is watching you or not, whether anyone is
keeping tabs or not. When you are faithful, you do it with the right
motive, and you can be counted on all the time. Everybody in the body
of Christ likes people who are faithful, especially pastors. I know
that I can give the faithful something to do and don’t have to think
about it anymore!

John goes on to say that those who remain faithful will have a crown.
Those who are overcomers will be “pillar[s] in the temple of my God”
(v. 12). They will have all the authority that Jesus has.

Prayer for Today

Father,
I raise my hands in recognition that You alone are worthy! I praise You
and give You glory! Through Your power, I will be faithful to You, no
matter what comes! In Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Let Your Light So Shine Before Men

Let Your Light So Shine Before Men

READ: Matthew 5:13-16

Let your light so shine before men. —Matthew 5:16

It was just a routine baggage inspection, but there was nothing ordinary about the contents of the suitcase. The Swiss customs agent who examined it discovered 14 original drawings by Pablo Picasso. The artwork, which was contained in a sketchbook, was estimated to be worth as much as $1.5 million, yet the passenger indicated “nothing to declare” to customs authorities.

It’s hard to imagine anyone packing Picasso’s sketchbook between sweaters, trotting off to the airport, and hoping it would remain a secret. The man was obviously smuggling it.

We as Christians have something far more valuable than a Picasso to declare! Yet we sometimes keep the treasure of our faith in Christ locked in our hearts instead of sharing it with those around us. Jesus reminded us, “You are the light of the world” (Matt. 5:14). Part of our purpose is to reflect God’s glory so that others will understand their need for Him. He also calls us to let our light shine, so that they see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven (v.16).

We risk becoming spiritual smugglers when we hide our faith in Christ. Instead, let’s open the “suitcase,” share the treasure, and give glory to the Master.

Lord, help me make my witness clear,
And labour faithfully,
So friends and neighbours turn to Christ
Through what they hear from me. —Anon.

A word well chosen can open a heart to God.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Satan is already defeated

Get Behind Me Satan

Get Behind Me Satan (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Satan is already defeated

We need to remember that the Lord has already defeated Satan at the cross. We should quit magnifying Satan and giving him so much credit. Instead, we should focus on the wonder-working God Who fights our battles for us. Then we would see with our own eyes the victories we long for!

If the devil has been bombarding you with temptations, tests, and trials, remember—the battle is not yours. It’s God’s. You don’t have to try to “fight” Satan. Just stand your ground with the Word of God. And begin to praise Him for performing for you what He promised in His Word (Rom. 4:21; Heb. 10:23).

Some circumstances will look impossible to you. But if you are to stand firm and immovable on God’s Word, believing Him to fight every battle for you, you will need to learn the power in praise.

Learn to give God praise and glory in the midst of every trial—before the obstacles are gone. Give God praise and glory for what He has promised you in His Word—even though you don’t see any change in your circumstances. That’s faith! And faith always wins the victory (1 John 5:4)!

Get to know who you are in Christ. When you do and the devil comes against you, you can throw your shoulders back and begin to march like a true soldier of God. You’ll have your helmet of salvation intact and your shield of faith raised high. You can boldly proclaim the promises of God, singing and praising Him confidently for the victory. And you shall prevail!

It’s time that we in the Church, the Lord’s army, begin to march forward and praise God. It’s time for us to use the praises of God to combat every crisis the devil throws at us!

Let us unite under the name of Christ and find fresh unity among all believers

Deep connection

2 Corinthians 2:5

“I am not overstating it when I say that the man who caused all the trouble hurt all of you more than he hurt me.”
NLT

The church of Jesus Christ is a family. In fact, I would say it can be an even deeper relationship than those found in a family. As believers, we weep together over heartaches, rejoice together in victories and share our lives with each other. This is not odd; this is the way God intended it to be.

Romans 12:5 “so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” NLT

If I was to cut my hand and you began to bleed, we would know there was a deep connection between us. In the church, we all are connected. When something good happens to you, I will be there to rejoice with you. Unfortunately, there are Christians who would rather pout over the blessing of another believer than to experience the joy of celebration with them. That person is missing out on one of the many joys of the church. Today, look for ways to connect with other believers. If they are struggling, then be there with them. If they are excited, then cheer them on as they seek Christ. Let’s unite under the name of Christ and find fresh unity among all believers.

Life Lesson: When part of the body is hurt, we all feel their pain. When part of the body is attacked, we all stand with them.

Dear God,
Thank You for Your church and the fellowship of believers. Help us all to remain united and not to allow petty issues to cause division. Give me a heart that rejoices with others and is willing to mourn with them as well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“I feel so alone,” Bev said, “with my husband gone and all my children married. Sometimes I can hardly bear the pain, the anguish. At times it’s as though I am about to suffocate—I am so lonely!”

Bev was in her late 70s. Her husband was dead, and her other family members were involved in their own careers and activities. Though they loved her, they were so busy they seldom saw her to express that love.

I shared with her the good news of the one who loved her so much that He died on the cross for her and paid the penalty for her sins, the one who promised never to leave her once He came.

There in the loneliness of her living room, she bowed with me in prayer and invited the risen living Christ to take up residence in her life, to forgive her, to make her a child of God. When she lifted her face, her cheeks were moist with tears and her heart was made new with joy.

“I feel so different,” she said. “Already I feel enveloped with the sense of God’s presence. His love and His peace.”

As the months passed, it became increasingly evident that she was not alone. He who was with her had been faithful to His promise never to leave her.

Do you feel deserted, alone, rejected? Do you have problems with you family, work, school or health? Whatever may be your need, Jesus is waiting to make His presence real to you.

The Look of Jesus

The Look of Jesus

While [Peter] was still speaking, the rooster crowed. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. . . . So Peter went out and wept bitterly.

Luke 22:60-62, NKJV

The night Jesus was betrayed, a man stepped up to Peter in the courtyard of the temple compound and challenged him: “Didn’t I see you with [Jesus] in the olive grove?” (John 18:26, NIV). All the tension and anger of the past hours exploded in Peter and tumbled out in a stream of curses as he insisted, “I don’t know the man!” Yet as he spoke, he heard the unmistakable sound of a rooster crowing in the distance. At that very moment, a commotion in the breezeway got everyone’s attention. With the denial still burning his lips, Peter looked into the eyes of Jesus!

The look of Jesus was like a flaming fire, burning away Peter’s hypocrisy and sin. Then as the entourage around Jesus roughly pushed and shoved Him forward, the moment passed. Peter, shaken to the core of his being, went out into the night, where he “wept bitterly,” sobbing out his confession to God.

Three days later, Peter knew his sin had been forgiven when he met the risen Christ. Do you have the uneasy feeling that Jesus is “looking” at you? Is your heart burning with shame and guilt? Don’t shed tears, shed your pride and come to Him for cleansing and restoration.

You might be feeling that God has forgotten you or that He is too busy to have time for your problems. The truth is that you are constantly in God’s thoughts and that He has not forgotten about you.

Take time to re-focus and read His word diligently. You will find that He has got all the answers to every challenge you may be facing. You just need to do exactly what He is telling you and not try and follow your own plans. It may seem a little strange but have faith in God and know that He will always lead you to a place of peace and provision.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

The God Of This Very Moment

John 11:21-27 says:

“Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever Thou wilt ask of God, God will give it Thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto Him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that Thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.”

Many of us are like Martha. We believe that Jesus is the Christ, but we believe that much of what He says to us is for the future and not for now. We believe things will come to pass someday, but not necessarily today. Jesus wanted her to see Him as the Christ of the now, the Christ that had freed her, the Christ that had resurrection power, and the Christ that was willing to move on her behalf in that very moment.

Today let’s not just think about Jesus as the Christ of tomorrow or the Christ of the catching away when we are taken in the rapture, but let’s realize He is the Christ of our now, right now. Where we are in this moment, He is the Christ, and He wants us to know Him as that today.

He is the Christ of your now!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers

Success

I’ve never met a person who did not want to be successful.

The desire to succeed is God-given.

God wants you to be successful.

John writes, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” –3 John 2 (KJV)

That’s what I describe as nothing broken and nothing missing.

That’s your spiritual walk, your emotions, your finances, your job, your health, your relationships, your household and the list goes on and on.

You Are As He Is

Take a moment to imagine how God sees you right now.

Because of Jesus Christ’s finished work at the Cross, God sees us as kings and priests. We are as He (Christ) is in this world.

Doesn’t it make you feel great knowing that God sees the finished product in you?

Remember this feeling because success in life is a journey, not a destination.

There will be times in life when you feel insignificant and down. There will be times when you don’t feel like taking another step.

That’s when you need to say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.”

It’s Not What You Do Once in a While that Makes the Difference

Success doesn’t happen overnight.

In most cases, what we see as the big pay-off is the result of someone’s continual dedication to correct information and association.

That’s why it is critically important to remind yourself of who you are in Christ.

I recommend making this reminder part of your daily routine. I also recommend that you commit to reading your Bible on a daily basis.

I’ve often said that if you want to be a leader, you’ve got to be a reader.

It has never been easier, than in today’s day and age, to renew your mind.

There are audio books, podcasts, YouTube videos, e-books, and countless other forms of high-quality education.

After stretching your mind, you’ll begin to dream bigger and prioritize your life. You’ll regain that get-up-and-go attitude that you thought was lost.

A renewed mind results in a renewed attitude.

You see, success in life depends more on your attitude than it does on your surroundings or the people who are currently causing roadblocks in your life.

I’ve found that unsuccessful people have an attitude of avoidance.

They avoid taking responsibility. They avoid risk. They try to avoid failure.

On the other hand, successful people turn failure into feedback.

They realize that life is a path so they keep moving. They don’t stop to dwell on their mistakes.

Instead of focusing on the negative consequences of failure, they see each setback as a bump in the road to prosperity.

What are you focusing on?

We were doing business with a particular organization and they were doing a great job. Then they began to branch out into other areas.

Soon, they were spreading themselves and their staff so thin, they were unable to perform on the level that earned them our business. Bottom line is, it cost them a client.

The most successful businesses (and people) narrow their focus and concentrate their efforts on the things they do best.

When we branch out and try to be all things to all people, we misplace what makes us great.

There is power in narrowing your focus.

It is through Christ finished work that we are able to do all things.

It is by His blood that we are overcomers.

Focus on Him and you will be successful.

I call you blessed.

Glorify God Despite Your Circumstances

03.365 (02.08.2009) Faith

Glorify God despite your circumstances.

Romans 4:20 “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.”

Waiting almost 10 years for the fulfilment of an “impossible” promise from God, Abraham’s faith grew stronger, while he continued to give glory to God! Strengthen yourself today in this thought. Abraham had all the reason in the natural to waver in his faith, but he chose to glorify God regardless of his circumstances.

Keep praising God, give Him glory in all that you do and do not lose hope, while glorifying Him.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

When faced with a problem, seek God first before relying on your own wisdom or strength

The Greatest Resources

Nahum 2:1

“He who scatters has come up before your face. Man the fort! Watch the road! Strengthen your flanks! Fortify your power mightily.”
NKJV

Tests and trials are a part of life and often push us to our limits in many ways. During these times, what do you turn to? Do you first run to others seeking those who feel the same way you do? Do you find yourself to be anxious because you are constantly looking down the road of life waiting for the next attack? Maybe you run to your money or addiction to seek answers or comfort. Whatever the case may be, the truth is, when we do not run to God first, we will not last long.

As followers of Christ, we have the greatest resource of wisdom and power available to anyone. He is our Father God and He desires to help us in times of need. We may be able to hobble along on our own wisdom and strength for a time, but when we trust in the Lord’s strength and His infinite wisdom we will never grow weary. Friend, today you will encounter difficult situations. Don’t be surprised by them but simply use them as an excuse to draw closer to God. Need wisdom? Ask the Father. Desire strength? Find it in Jesus.

Life Lesson: When faced with a problem, seek God first before relying on your own wisdom or strength.

Dear God,
Thank You for the Your generous love for me. I am so grateful that I can run to You in times of need and You will hear my cry. Father I ask for Your strength and wisdom today. No matter where I find myself I ask that You would guide my steps and use me for Your purposes. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God.

United in Praise

Who is praising Jesus because you are? If your praise – and mine – is interrupted by . . .

our circumstances or our complaints,

our selfishness or our suffering,

our desires or our depression,

our indifference or our insistence,

or by anything at all . . .

the light will grow dim in our lives as we sink into the mire of self, and instead of causing others to praise Him, we will drag them down into the darkness with us.

So would you praise Him? And keep on praising Him! Praise Him for __________. You fill in the blank with an attribute of Christ.

Blessings

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
