Text: Revelation 21: 3-4
Whatever isn’t in heaven, has no right to be in your life.
The gold in heaven is so pure, there are no carats to describe it.
The earth is between 2 extremes:
Extremely low and extremely high,
Extremely bad and extremely good
Hell is so low that the Bible calls it the bottomless pit. Revelation 20:1-2
Heaven is extremely high; it is God’s throne.
Isaiah 66:1
The One Who is higher than the highest sits in heaven. Ecclesiastes 5:8
You must do everything possible to make sure you go to heaven and not hell.
The best friend you can ever have – Jesus – warns you severely not to miss heaven. Mark 9:44-47
Jesus says you must be willing to lose the wealth of the whole world to gain heaven. Matthew 16:26
Heaven is where the ultimate is:
• Ultimate joy. Romans 12:15
• Ultimate health. There is no dying there.
The plan of God for you is to never be sick. When you’re done on earth, you can be translated to heaven through sleep.
No pain or death in heaven.
• Ultimate deliverance. No demons in heaven
On earth, demons can return to a delivered person but deliverance is ultimate in heaven. Matthew 12:43-45
• Ultimate prosperity.
Earthly treasures will pass. But the prosperity in heaven lasts forever.
Proverbs 25:5, Matthew 6:20
• There is no night in heaven. Our celebrations won’t be cut off at the end of the day. We will keep rejoicing forever.
What happens when heaven is opened to you?
▪︎ Suddenly you find that in every battle, you win.
Only overcomers are mentioned as inhabitants of heaven.
+ Heaven opened to David and he moved from victory to victory.
When the heavens open to you;
▪︎ Your prayers will be answered by fire. 1 Kings 18
▪︎ You will prosper beyond understanding. Malachi 3:10
People will wonder how you’re succeeding.
What happens when the heavens are closed over a person:
▪︎ They’ll begin to fail without understanding. Joshua 7:1-12
God won’t answer the prayers of such a person. 1 Samuel 28:4-25
How to live the life of heaven on earth. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
1. Rejoice evermore.
First thing in the morning, shout hallelujah and rejoice.
Waking up shows that God’s mercies are still over you. Lamentations 3:22-23
Rejoice because:
• God’s mercies over you haven’t expired.
• Where there is life, there is hope.
• That very day can be your new day – your set time.
2. Pray without ceasing.
There are no impossibilities with God.
Jeremiah 32:27
What you call a problem is something for God to laugh about. Psalm 2
3. Give thanks.
If you hand something over to God and He delays, it is because He has a greater purpose for you than you imagined. Luke 1:5-17
If God delays, it’s for a good purpose.
If He says no, it means what you’re asking for is inferior to what He wants to do for you.
How do you know you’re on the right direction?
▪︎ You’ll have a hunger for God.
You’re excited to serve God, worship Him, spend and be spent for Him.
▪︎ When you begin to lose interest in material things, you’re on the right direction.
How do you know you’re not on the right path?
▪︎ You’re sad constantly but don’t know why. You’ve lost the joy of your salvation. Psalm 51:12
▪︎ You’ve lost your hunger for God.
Ask yourself if you’re as excited for the things of God as you used to be.
Do you eagerly look for opportunities to serve God more?
Will you be willing to live a life of sacrifice that would help someone else be drawn to Christ?
Will you be able to go out of your way to show God that you love Him?
Salvation Call
If you’ve drawn back from the Lord, come back to Him today.
If you have never known Him, surrender to Him today.
If you haven’t given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

1. Thank the Almighty God and bless Him for all He has done in your life.
2. Father in heaven, please let the heavens open for me tonight.
3. Father, don’t let the heavens ever close against me, for the rest of my life.
4. Father, from now on, let me live my life as someone enjoying heaven here on earth.
5. Father, all those who are close to me, don’t let them know sorrow, so that I won’t have to know sorrow.
6. Father, whatever it’s going to cost, don’t let me miss heaven.

Prayer for the nation

Let’s thank God that the country Nigeria is still intact and growing.
Let’s pray for ourselves as citizens, that the Lord will help us to indeed be salt and light in our nation.
Let’s pray for the leaders of Nigeria, say: “Father awaken the consciousness of your divine will in our leaders.”
Oh Lord, build this nation Nigeria for us, and watch over it for us.
Oh Lord, I decree that I will eat the good fruits of this land, I will prosper, and be great in this land.
Father, we pray for every young person in this country, help them to grow in wisdom, favour and stature, and empower them to do exploits in Jesus name.
