Exploring Mark 11

“God is a marriage of love because everything, male and female as you consider it, resides in God, as well as in all true creation.” COL bk.4, 1:IV
We are composed of love—through and through. We are living, many of us, in madness still, because the ego has not yet died in us. When the ego does die, we will know what it is to live in God. We will be part of “all true creation.”
What we have made of ourselves in this world is not “true creation,” for our mistakes have made us labor under extreme conditions of depravity. Never God’s intention, He “let go” when we rebelled (A Course of Love concept). What else could He do? We as parents even do this with our rebellious teenagers. Neither we, in God’s sight, nor teens, are yet mature—or we wouldn’t make such havoc for ourselves.
Let the love…

Hurt comes in many forms and at different times. At times it strikes one deeper that imaginable and mortifies one to the core. Mostly it is the ones we love the most that hurt us to such an extent, the ones we think we can’t live without, the ones we see the meaning of life though, those who see us through our deep and darkest hours.
It is those who hurt us that not only deserve our forgiveness, but an understanding of why we hurt as well. If we are true to ourselves, then we will acknowledge that we are neither perfect nor without fault. Furthermore; if we truly love, then forgiveness should come easily to us. The loved ones who hurt us, are also hurt by the pain they inflict.
If you have lived for even a day, you know that you are and any other person is likely…

My husband and I receive the same compliment when someone looks at a picture of us. It’s a compliment I am most proud of and I rejoice in it humbly. ”You both have the same big smile!” We both laugh and say thank you. I use to be so self conscious. Feelings of being critiqued imposed on my behavior. Nowadays, it takes so much energy to put into caring about what people think or feel about me. Ofcourse I would like to be well liked. If at all possible to live peacefully with everyone is a godly principle. Keys words are “if at all possible”. Sometimes it is just impossible, and I feel now that I am fine with that. The big lesson is that through it all to not allow people or situations to steal my joy or ruin my smile.
Beloved, exercise your right to release your cares…

Watch out, the enemy is here!
Holding in hands the seeds of sin and fear
He seeks a heart where the word is lacking
And the prayer altar has gone rusty
Watch out, the enemy is here!
He comes to steal when we turn the light off
Like a roaring lion he seeks a lone sheep
That has forsaken the flock for worldly wants
Watch out, the enemy is here!
Owners of secret mansion of malice
Board director of the ministry of gossip
Actors and actresses in the movie “just a little sin”
Watch out, the enemy is here!
You who think you’re made righteous by your doing
And has made self-righteousness your hobby
Leaders as blind as the blind they lead
Come unto me labourers of sin
Bring unto me your problems torn heart
All you who lack rest, come to me
Come, my children who are bullied by…

My response to Psalm 117 is a familiar response to one who wants to be a disciple of Jesus. It is simply to tell the world the Good News. I need to look for those who cannot come to church, do not come to church or will not come to church. That is a challenge for 2020.
Extol him, all peoples!
For great is his steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.
Praise the Lord! – Psalm 117:1-2 ESV
I can do this because I have a sense of belonging – I have security in God’s care.
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be moved, but abides forever. – Psalm 125:1 ESV
I heard so many teachings as a teenager and young adult about the danger of being a lukewarm Christian. I did have a sense of…

When comparing quality of life conditions between advanced Western capitalist nations and individual states within the U.S., a growing amount of data shows that those which are the most extremely conservative and religious are very often the most violent and plagued with far greater social problems in more than a dozen categories like overall crime, economic mobility, infant mortality, overall poverty, environmental abuse, teen pregnancy, incarceration, life expectancy, murder, education, childhood poverty, healthcare efficiency, “best-for-business” conditions, average worker to CEO pay ratio, paid maternity leave, gun violence, obesity, income inequality and minimal worker’s benefits. Extreme liberalism, such as with revolutionary communism, also seriously detracts from quality of life. This ideology has had a very weak following around the world since the late 20th century. Extreme social and economic conservatism, in contrast, have been increasingly popular among a large segment of the American population during the past four decades.

The past few weeks, I’ve allowed myself to pile my mind up with so many ideas that I was beginning to lose myself in all the clutter. I want to do this… I want to do that… my mind was non-stop with wonderful ideas. I began to feel this feeling of uneasiness and overwhelm so I had to take a few steps back and look at my mindset and start to communicate more with God. I began to talk out loud saying ” God, this can’t be right I’m feeling overwhelmed and way too anxious”. The answered I got back was an eye opener for me ” Just because you are following me, doesn’t make you superwoman”. Why would I think I could take on so many things at once. Now I know.
Dreams take time and they can only be accomplished one day at a time. There’s no need to try…

A strong person is someone who has been weak, but has allowed themselves to be repaired by God.
They have learned to embrace when bad things happen, because they know the outcome will make them a better individual.
It is impossible to be unaffected by the things in this world. We all have feelings.
A person is not strong because they somehow have more strength than you, we are all equal. We are all weak. They are that way because they have faith.
They know that storms don’t last forever. Without rain, we cannot grow. So instead of staying in the drought, they take that water and use it. They understand it is necessary for growth.
They understand that when bad times arise, it is an opportunity to learn. Sometimes, these so called “struggles” we face, allow us to learn the most about ourselves.
And, without the

I can so easily live my life as if it will go on forever. I’m so caught on maybe next time, dilly dallying and waiting for the best moment yet to come. Yet losing someone I love recently reminded me not to save the best for the last. Because the best is ME, HERE, where I am RIGHT NOW, brightly lit and painfully now.
Lord I know I may not have as much time as I think. I pray to let me experience all that life has to offer and to offer all that I am to You for the remaining years of my life. Teach me, Lord, to number my days, so that I might grow in wisdom, so that I might live each day in the best possible way with the people that matters to me the most. Help me to strive to fill each day with value…

Read 1 Peter 4:12-19.
As you seek to follow the Lord’s commands in His Word with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength, be prepared for flack from the enemy. What does Peter say not to be surprised about? How does he say to respond?
SHARE GOD’S HEART
Ask the Lord to continue to grow your love for your husband and to give you His love for your husband. But don’t stop there. Ask Him to give you a glimpse of His vision for your husband so that you can come alongside him in every way possible. Lay down your life and follow Christ, die to self and pick up your cross, and be a servant of all, beginning first with your husband. Ask the Lord to show you some way that you can serve your husband this week. Then ask your husband how…
