Today i have found a book while perusing our bookshelf at home and found an interesting book neatly tucked in entitled your power in the holy spirit by john g. lake as compiled by roberts liardon.as most know john g. lake is one of GOD’s generals and his ministry even reached here in southern africa,this book is a collection of his sermons from booklets,radio addresses and sermons in conventions spanning from the years 1910 to 1921.

What a shame it is to see what politics has done to our nation. There is no greater proof of how incapable man is of governing himself. Only Jesus Christ has the answer to man’s problems! Bending the knee and bowing to God in prayer and confessing our sins to Jesus who changes everything and can make all things right. There are those who thrive on strife. Constantly finding fault, nitpicking, bickering, starting trouble, making mountains out of mole hills, and trying to making their senseless issues yours. They live and thrive on the chaos. The more commotion going on the more they can spread strife and enjoy the adrenaline of the struggle.

This type of person has to constantly have some kind of issue in their life to feed their discontentment. This is how they hide the corruption that comes from within, so they do not have to face themselves.

These are the same ones who complain the most. Exclaiming, “It’s not my fault, woe is me!”

These people can not handle a peaceful, quiet, calm, and serene lifestyle. A lifestyle that seeks the peaceful rest of God. (Hebrews 4:9-11)

Hi to all who have read my blogs. first I would like to say sorry for any comments I haven’t replied to. it has been a crazy couple of years. I haven’t really been near this blog. only because I haven’t really known what to say. I went through a tough time not long after my last post. but I have learnt a lot since then. • The first and foremost ideal in life must be to lead a truthful life, whether it be through the spiritual quest of Self Realization or through a selfish cum egoistic pursuit of sensuality and materialism. The mode of living, whether it be through the liberal approach of introverted spiritual pursuit or through the utilitarian approach of extroverted materialistic cum sensual pursuit is secondary or immaterial provided our ideals are prioritized for the ultimate achievement of the selfless ideal of Self Realization.
