Theme: Mountain Movers

INTRODUCTION

God knows the foundation of any mountain. That is why He can uproot any of them. – Psalm 90:1-20.

May God uproot all mountains in your life today! Amen.

1. God is older than anyone and anything

God had existed before heaven and earth. He created all things. – Genesis 1:1-3, Jn. 1:1-3, Jeremiah 32:27.

2. Mountains may differ but the Mountain-mover is the same.

The Red Sea is a mountain. So also is the wall of Jericho. The lion, bear and Goliath are different mountains. The mountain of Naaman is different from that of the widow of Zarephath, but the same God moved them all. – Exodus 14:21-28, Jos. 6:1-20, 1Sam. 17:34-51, 2 Kgs. 5:1-14, 1 Kgs. 17:8-16.

God existed before any mountain.

Psalm 90:1-2: Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

PART ONE

Genesis 1:1-3: God was before any creation.

John. 1:1-3: He created all things without exception.

Jeremiah 32:27: He is the Lord of all flesh because He created all flesh.

PART TWO

Exodus 14:21-28: The Red Sea was a mountain; God moved it.

Joshua 6:1-20: The wall of Jericho is another kind of mountain; God  moved it.

1 Samuel 17:34-51: The lion, the bear and Goliath are 3 different types of mountains. The same God moved them all.

2 Kings 5:1-14: Leprosy (incurable disease) was a mountain. The same God moved it.

1 Kings. 17:8-16: Poverty is a mountain but our God moved it too.

CONCLUSION

Mark. 11:22-23: Just believe in God and your mountain shall be moved too in Jesus name. Amen.

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your Will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
