In a world with so much war & turmoil it is only natural in the flesh to sense fear, hopelessness & despair BUT Good News is here!!
Our enemy does seek to kill, steal and destroy (that must be the theme/fight song to a religion that is trying to currently take over the world) however we can fight that fear with fear!!  Here’s what my Bible reading said today:
“Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.” ~ Ps. 27:3
“So we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” ~ Heb. 13:6
“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.” ~ Ps. 112:7

I have been feeling so lonely, so vulnerable,  so slow in my thinking, so desperate. I feel abandoned. I am an orphan among other orphans. I am a widow among millions others, I am a less privileged and people judge me that I am lazy. I am to do something but I lake means. How to go about alone? where to start from. I am so scared of how things are happening, of how people have become butchers of their fellow human beings.  I cry day and night for my loved ones who have left this world. I see a lot injustice in the world. A 14 years old girl is just been shot because men have found that she is a peace activist. Who in the whole world does not want peace of mind, body and soul? who on earth does not want to go to sleep…

I grew up in a very Conservative Baptist Church. They were fundamental in their Christian doctrine and mixed into that doctrine many added “rules.” For example: One rule was that no guitars could be used in worship services because rock bands use guitars! They didn’t see the irony that rock bands also used organs. Another rule you’ve probably heard of is that no card playing was allowed. (Perhaps the reasoning was that the cards had demonic symbols or something). When our high school youth group would go to Denver for a YFC rally they kept the lights on in the bus even though we were good kids. These are just a few examples.

There was a big emphasis on behavior and outward appearance. Even though I’m sure it was preached, I don’t remember a big focus on God’s love for me. I actually tuned out most sermons because they were…

A lot of people have posted on social media several bible verses during the COVID-19, but the one scripture that comes to mine is for the church. Where is the church? As the body of Christ we need to boldly come into the thrown room and pray morning , noon, and night for the lord to heal our land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

The myriad of eschatological scenarios that are afloat today can be confusing to even the most diligent of inquirers.  We observe the current flow of events, prayerfully inquire as to how these events will play through, search the scriptures which seem to identify the events, and cautiously consider the observations of other like minded saints. We strive to maintain an eternal perspective in this temporal setting.  And yet we can easily become overwhelmed if we are not walking close to Jesus.  While prophetically significant events are unfolding at an ever-accelerating pace, the enemy is attacking from ever facet of life. He launches direct attacks from the spiritual realm, fosters dark policies which are carried out by his agents, and utilizes the people in our ambiance who either know not the Lord Jesus, or are not close to him, to keep to us continuously distracted until his dark champion (antichrist) is…

Once in awhile, my life lines up in such a way, I can’t help but wonder what is going on. Don’t get me wrong. The Lord often answers my prayers, but to say there isn’t a regular amount of begging, well….That just wouldn’t be true.

Ever since Chef and I broke up, I’ve found myself without 3 things that really made a huge impact on my life:

1. A legal, reliable car
2. An income that could pay all the bills and still leave a little for us to be able to eat
3. A safe, clean home

All these things I had when Chef and I were together, but soon after the break-up, my car broke down, I never made the right amount of money, and because of these things, I had to live in subpar housing.

I believe we can all agree that Apostle Paul said it best “ I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do”.  Later in the passage he says “Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me”.

We all have the best intentions in mind but often times we find ourselves falling short of the very thing we sent up to God in prayer. We find ourselves forgetting what we told God we would not do in prayer. We often find ourselves calling out to Jesus for help.

Elijah– the Man who Prayed and succeeded.

Elijah was a prophet who lived in the northern kingdom of Israel. He was very much upset by the idol worship promoted by King Ahab. He worked tirelessly to bring back the worship of true God in Israel. Being an ordinary man, it was not an easy task. He had to risk his life.  He had to fight against King Ahab and Queen Jezebel. But he did not give up, he was committed for the course of God.

He challenged the political and temporal authority in the name of God.

9 Types of Meditation- All types are important. Level of importance vary with the expectation of an individual, at a point being. While pure consciousness also meaning enlightenment, Salvation and Nirvana is a starting point for even higher goals, it is not most important type for worldly wise practical meditation aspirants.

With this in mind, without maintaining an order of least or highest importance or short or long term, I list the 9 steps of progress as types of meditation below-

1. Thank you for all the prayers you lifted up for Carter. We finally got a diagnoses – Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis. It’s a condition where he will have pain caused from growth on his legs but other than the pain he will be okay and hopefully grow out of the condition as he gets older. We are very happy that it is not cancer and we finally have a diagnosis. Carter has been through so much as a little boy, open heart surgery at age one, multiple strokes and a liver condition that will effect him throughout his life. However, God will use him in powerful ways. Thank you for your continue prayer!
