Who You Are.

John_3-5: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” John 3:3

 

 

 

A man by the name Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews was so astonished at the miracles of Jesus and so came to find out from Him what he needed to do to get the type of results Jesus was getting. This is very typical of today’s Christianity.

 

 

 

We always believe we must do something in order to be approved by God when we should accept and celebrate what Jesus had already accomplished for us. Jesus corrected him from our text today and made him know that it is not about “DOING” but rather about “BEING”. It is about who we are. It is “except a man be”. Remember our own righteousness are like filthy rags before God. There is nothing you do that can qualify you before God. You have to “become”, first, in order to qualify, to “do”.

 

 

 

Do you know that no matter how in the natural you fast, pray, lobby to become royalty, it cannot happen, why? It is because you do not do anything to become royal; you are born royalty. Those who are Prince and Princess did nothing to become one. They were born that way. That is what the New Birth is all about. The New birth enables you to be born into the family of God and as a result qualify to automatically enjoy all the benefits.

 

 

If you are born again, then you are a child of the King of kings. Welcome to royalty.

God Does Not Fail.

“God also bound Himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that He would never change His mind.” Hebrews 6:17 (NLT)

 

 
The question is always asked about how we can be sure that God will come through for us. The reason is because many times the men and women that we depend on fail us and situations sometimes do not work out the way we projected. You may have had some disappointment in life, goals unrealized and ambitions not attained. Welcome to real life.
Things happen in life that overwhelm and confuse us. The only thing that does not have margin for failure is the word of God. The only person that does not fail is God. Do you know what? God and His word are one Psalm 118:8. It is better to trust in God than man. It is impossible for God to lie. His word will always come through in our lives.

 

 

 

Today’s text tells us that in order to give us assurance, courage, strength and peace, He bound Himself with an oath that He will come through for us. This oath is meant to give you all the assurance you need. Has God said something to you lately that seems not to be happening, hang on to it with every fiber of your being; it is only a matter of time.
Delay is not denial, though it tarries, wait for it, it shall surely, without fail, come to pass.

“Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:” Romans 2:6-7

 

 

 

It is so easy to quit in a world where evil is being redefined and glamourised. A world where everyone around you is being rewarded for doing evil and you seem to be the odd man out. Not only are you the odd man out, you are been blacklisted for doing good. People want to intimidate you and get you to compromise your stand.

 

 

 

 

It can get so bad to the point where you are never appreciated; those who talk the talk and never walk the walk surround you. I want you to know that God knows who you are and also sees where you are. Your labour of love is never in vain. Don’t be weary in well doing; whenever the opportunity arises, do what is right.

 

 

 

Yes, you may be tempted to give up, thinking that people are taking advantage of you, calling you a fool. But I have come to assure you that God does not see it that way. He is the Paymaster and He is keeping accurate records. Don’t get discouraged. Do you know how many souls have been saved because of the light shining through you? You are an epistle to the world. They are reading you, be encouraged, your reward is around the corner. Don’t give up; don’t join the crowd. Stand out and remain the light just where God has planted you, I promise you that you will reap a rich reward if you do not faint, lose heart or give up

See What God Is Saying.

Hebrews_11-1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

Hebrews_11-1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

 

 
The scripture above is a very popular one, but let me put it this way, the word of God is the Substance of things hoped for; the word of God is the evidence of things not seen. God told Abram to look into the sky and count the stars. God wanted Abram to visualize the promise He made to him (Genesis 15: 5) He knew that once Abram sees what he could not see with his natural eyes, his faith will be strong.

 

 
When Abram looked into the sky his faith was lifted to another level. In Genesis 15:6, Abram believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. When you look around you will notice that your circumstances do not line up with God’s word, however God wants you to look beyond your circumstances and see what He is saying to you. What He is saying is what He has already done and as you hold on to that in faith, it will manifest physically.

 

 
What I am sharing with you today is the creative power of your imagination. Don’t see yourself down and out, see what God has promised you. Do you believe God for a job? See yourself in that office; are you believing God for a house, see yourself in that type of house you trust God for. Is it a child, don’t just see yourself pregnant; see yourself carrying the baby. God has given us the power of imagination to use for our benefit, don’t let the devil rob you of it.

 

 
You must not be in the company of those who say, I have been believing God for something and nothing seems to have changed. This attitude will get you nowhere, the key is to have a mental picture of what you believe and never ever say anything contrary with your mouth (Proverbs.23:7).

 

 
You must hold on tenaciously to what God is saying to you if you expect to receive it God’s word already

GIVE OF YOUR BEST TO THE MASTER.

Give of your best to the Master,
Give of the strength of your youth;
Throw your soul’s fresh, glowing ardour
Into the battle for truth.
Jesus has set the example—
Dauntless was He, young and brave;
Give Him your loyal devotion,

FROM GREENLAND’S ICY MOUNTAINS.

From Greenland’s icy mountains,
From India’s coral strand,
Where Africa’s sunny fountains
Roll down their golden sand;
From many an ancient river,
From many a palmy plain,
They call us to deliver
Their land from error’s chain.

What though the spicy breezes,
Blow soft o’er Ceylon’s isle;
Though every prospect pleases,
And only man is vile?
In vain, with lavish kindness,
The gifts of God are strown;
The heathen, in his blindness,
Bows down to wood and stone.

Can we, whose souls are lighted
By wisdom from on high,
