PRAYER POINTS BEFORE GOING FOR A MEETING.

1-Thessalonians_5-17: Pray without ceasing

My Father, have mercy on me today.

2. My Father, let Your Holy fire pass through us in today’s gathering in Jesus’ name.

3. The God of Amen, say Amen to all my prayers in Jesus’ name.

4. My Father, after today’s meeting, let the ministering angel send a message of Joy to me in Jesus’ name.

5. My Father, let the deliverer of my Joy locate me today and if the world has tied him, release him today in Jesus’ name.

6. My Father, any power that says I would return home empty handed without prospering, destroy them in Jesus’ name.

7. Every opportunity of breakthrough, success and lifting up that I have missed, let there be a restoration in Jesus’ name.

8. My Father, in today’s gathering, that place You have prepared for my destiny, Lord, take me there in Jesus’ name.

9. My Father, that higher ground that You’ve prepared for me, take me there in Jesus’ name.

Psalms_9-1: I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

Psalms_100-4: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalms_113-3: From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised

Psalm 103:1-3
1Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Introduction:

Man is created to praise God and to glorify Him.
Isaiah 43:7
Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Our Life is accepted to be one continuous song of praise to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

What Is Praise?

To praise means to honour, worship and glorify.

Is Praise Compulsory?

Yes, it is compulsory to praise God.
Praise is compulsory for Angels

Psalm 103:20.
Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Saints or Believers
Psalms 117:1
O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

And even children are not exempted.
Matthew 21:16.
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?”

In fact, all creations are to praise the LORD.

How should I praise GOD?

We Should Praise The Lord With Understanding
Psalm 47:7
For God is the King of all the earth;
Sing praises with understanding.

With Our Soul
Psalm 103:1

With The Whole Of Our Heart
Psalm 9:1
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

We Are Also To Praise God With Our Mouth And Lips
Psalm 51:15
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

Psalms 63:3
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

With Joy And Gladness
2 Chronicles 29:20
Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.

We Are To Praise Him Day By Day, Continually And To The End Of Our Lives

From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.

God moves in a mysterious way
