In the race of life

In the race of life

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:32, NKJV

Winning a relay race depends not only on the speed of the runners but also on their skillful ability to transfer the baton. If the baton is dropped, precious seconds are wasted, and the race may be lost. If the runner fails to pass the baton, he is disqualified from the race altogether.

In the race of life, the “baton” is the truth that leads to personal faith in God. Each generation receives the “baton” from the previous generation, runs the race to the best of its ability, then passes the “baton” smoothly and securely to the next generation.

Every day we see advances in our civilization bringing better health care, longer life spans, and ever-expanding knowledge. But underneath all the progress and sophistication, our civilization is experiencing a bankruptcy of moral and spiritual values that threatens to erode our very existence. In the midst of wickedness and waste, we must strive to relay the baton of truth that leads to personal faith in God that has been handed down to generation after generation since Creation.

Key To Faith That Works

Key To Faith That Works

Matthew_17-20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you

Matthew_17-20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you

“If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.”

Matthew 17:20, NKJV

Are you discouraged because you have not received “anything from the Lord” as it relates to your prayer life? When Jesus’ disciples were discouraged by their inability to get answers to prayer and so were ineffective in helping others, He encouraged them by pointing out that even faith the size of a mustard seed could move mountains. The key to faith that works is the foundation on which it is placed.

Base your faith in prayer on God’s Word. Ask Him to give you a promise that applies specifically to your situation. Then claim it persistently in prayer until God keeps His Word.

Do you think God’s silence in your life means He has forgotten you?

Do you think God’s silence in your life means He has forgotten you?

Hebrews_6-10: For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister, God Cares

Hebrews_6-10: For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister, God Cares

I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands.

Isaiah 49:15-16, NKJV

Noah was totally helpless to change his situation. There was nothing he could do except to stay on the ark and tend to the needs of his family and those of the animals until God in some way brought deliverance. He had to keep his faith in God while simply waiting out the silence that followed the storm.

Although He had been silent, God had not forgotten Noah. In fact, since Noah and his family were the only living persons on the face of the earth, we can be sure they had God’s total, undivided attention every moment.

Do you think God’s silence in your life means He has forgotten you? Oh, no! God says He has engraved your name on the palms of His hands. He says that a mother could forget her nursing baby at mealtime before He could forget you! You are in God’s heart and on His mind every moment. He is fully informed of your circumstances and will bring about change when He knows the time is right.

Amen!

Thank You Jesus!

Where Will You Spend Eternity? Are You Afraid Of Dying? Fear Of Death

Where Will You Spend Eternity? Are You Afraid Of Dying? Fear Of Death

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. —John 3:16

That where I am, there you may be also. —John 14:3

“I don’t think I would be afraid to die if I knew what to expect after death,” said a young man with an incurable disease. Evidently he had not heard of what God “has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

This young man had within him the fear of death. By nature, we fear the unknown. But the Bible says that the grave is not the end for anyone but rather the beginning of eternity:

Transgressors and sinners …
Who forsake the Lord shall be consumed …
Both will burn together,
And no one shall quench them (Isaiah 1:28, 31)

This is not God’s will but a consequence of human choice.

The child of God has no need to fear death. Why? God has not left us with the spirit of hopelessness, for He is “the God of hope” (Romans 15:13). Death, for the Christian, is overcome by the reality of hope—HEAVEN.

We see this assurance in John, the great “Where I am” book of the Bible. Jesus had told His disciples He was going away; He was preparing them for His death. But they could not fathom what He was telling them. They had walked with Him and fellowshipped together. He was their Teacher and Friend; they were His students and His companions.

Peter said to Him, “Lord, where are You going?”

Jesus answered him, “Where I am going you cannot follow Me now” (John 13:36).

Then Jesus spoke some of the most treasured words in Scripture:

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you … I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know” (John 14:1-4).

This was a revelation to the disciples. It was as if Jesus had said to them, “We have no lasting home on earth, but My Father’s house is a home where we will be together forever.”

This is a picture painted with words—for He is the Word. A heavenly home is described in the Greek as a “mansion.” It doesn’t mean an imposing house but rather a permanent dwelling—an eternal abode. Jesus told this little band of men the way to reach this wonderful place: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

As humans we place a great deal of value on our homes. Amid all the changes that will come, when we no longer have an earthly home, we have a promise—we will be with Him forever.

Heaven seems a mystery to many people. They wonder if Heaven is above the lofty clouds, or if Heaven will come down to earth. When I am asked, “Where is Heaven?” I simply answer: Heaven is where Jesus is. He told His disciples, “I go to prepare a place for you … that where I am, there you may be also!” So when my earthly life has ended and you wonder where I’ve gone, this will be the answer: I will be with Jesus—that’s where I am.

As humans we place a great deal of value on our homes. Amid all the changes that will come, when we no longer have an earthly home, we have a promise—we will be with Him forever.

What about you? Do you know where you will be when you step into eternity? The ultimate destination is not found in a slick vacation package. The ultimate destination is HEAVEN—found in Jesus Christ. Nothing can transcend this wonderful place. Jesus said, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him” (John 14:23).

Nicodemus was a Pharisee who had heard of Jesus and was interested in what He had to say, so he went looking for Him. We don’t know where he found Jesus, for He had no earthly home. “Foxes have holes,” He said, “and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head” (Matthew 8:20). But the Bible says that if we seek Him, He may be found (Isaiah 55:6, Matthew 7:7). And, sure enough, Nicodemus found Jesus in the dark of night.

“Rabbi,” he said, “we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him” (John 3:2).

Jesus changed the conversation from the miracles of which Nicodemus inquired to the miracle of a new life in Christ and said, “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God … That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again’” (John 3:6-7). Nicodemus’ reaction was filled with doubt and unbelief, and he exclaimed, “How can these things be?” (John 3:9).

Jesus answered this leading Pharisee with another question. “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?” (John 3:10).

Nicodemus was stunned. If Christ had said this to Zacchaeus or the woman at the well, it might make sense, but Jesus spoke to a professor of theology. And He was saying, “It isn’t enough, Nicodemus. You must be born again.”

This term born again has fascinated people for centuries. It simply means “Born From Above”—born into the family of God. We are all God’s creation, but we are not all God’s children. Those who are born only once (physical birth) will experience physical and spiritual death, what the Bible calls the second death. But those who are born twice (physically and spiritually) will die only a physical death because they will be resurrected to life eternal. This is why Jesus came.

Nicodemus could only see human life; Jesus was speaking of spiritual life. What Nicodemus needed was a new heart. Surely he would have read the Scripture, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you” (Ezekiel 36:26). No matter how hard Nicodemus worked to live right, he fell short of being born again.

This was a lot for Nicodemus to take in. Imagine what must have been going through his mind when he heard Jesus say,

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

The Bible does not record what happened after their meeting; and if the Book of John ended there, we might not know what became of Nicodemus. But John 7 tells of a debate that later arose among the Jewish leaders about Jesus, for He had told them also that He was going away, and “where I am you cannot come” (John 7:33-34). Jesus knew the chief priests were planning to seize Him, but He spoke of returning to His heavenly home. Then the Pharisees asked one another if any of them believed Jesus, and Scripture says that Nicodemus spoke up for Him (John 7:47-51). Jesus’ words had illuminated Nicodemus’ darkened heart.

We don’t see Nicodemus again until he appears after Christ’s death on the cross, bringing a mixture of spices to use in preparing Jesus’ body for burial (John 19:39). Most of Christ’s followers had fled, but here we see Nicodemus caring for Him. It seems that even in death’s shadow, Nicodemus had eternity on his mind.

But as we’ve seen, many people never think of eternity. As a Christian and a preacher of the Gospel, I am always grieved to have to interrupt a marvelous picture, such as eternal life in Heaven, to talk about another eternal place that Jesus calls HELL. It has no similarities to what is typically called home, nor is Hell a resting place, a holding place, or a graveyard. Hell is a burning inferno.

More than the description, I want to point out the greatest darkness of Hell—it is a place where Jesus is not. Jesus said, “I am going away. You will search for me but will die in your sin. You cannot come where I am going” (John 8:21, NLT). This is the great anguishing nightmare—to be eternally separated from the Son of God. It is unimaginable. For this reason alone, to be in Hell is the most terrible of all judgments.

There are some people who actually believe that if they end up in Hell, they’ll get used to it. After all, they say, the devil has provided a great deal of pleasure for them while on earth, so how bad can it be?

Let me tell you; the devil is not in charge of Hell, nor is it his headquarters. Satan is the “prince of this world” (John 16:11, KJV) and has taken up residence in many hearts. But He knows what the end is for him. He made his choice long ago and wants to take a world of people with him to Hell, where he will serve out his eternal sentence.

The Bible says that the everlasting fire was created for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). Jesus said, “I have the keys of Hades and of Death” (Revelation 1:18). The devil does not own Hell. It is not his home—it is his judgment.

A mother and son once lived in a miserable attic. Years before, she had married against her parents’ wishes and had gone with her husband to live in a strange land. But her husband soon died, and she managed with great difficulty to secure the bare necessities. The boy’s happiest times were when his mother told of her father’s house in the old country, a place with grassy lawns, enormous trees, wide porches, and delicious meals. The child longed to live there.

One day the postman knocked at the door with a letter. The woman recognized her father’s handwriting and with trembling fingers opened the envelope that held a check and a slip of paper with two words: “Come home.”

A similar experience will come to all who know Christ. Someday you will receive this brief message: “The Father says come home.”

Those who know Christ are not afraid to die. Death is not the grim reaper. Death to the Christian is “going home.” No one who has died in the Lord would ever want to come back to this life. To depart and be with Christ, Paul said, “is far better” (Philippians 1:23). The Bible says that we are strangers and pilgrims on earth, seeking a homeland, a place prepared for us by God (Hebrews 11:16) where the Lord will receive us into “an everlasting home” (Luke 16:9). I have never known a man or woman to receive Christ and ever regret it.

Perhaps you have never bent your will to God’s will and been born again. You can do that now, for He desires that all be saved (1 Timothy 2:4). Right now you can make your decision for Christ and start on the road that leads to a heavenly home.

Jesus said in essence, “You can be where I am, or you can be where I am not.” I pray you settle life’s most important question: WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going (John 8:14).

By Franklin Graham

I was deeply saddened but certainly not surprised when the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its tragically flawed and immorally reasoned decision on same-sex marriage.

It was obvious that the liberal wing of the court had already predetermined the outcome of the Obergefell v. Hodges case, even though dozens of states over the past few years had passed marriage amendments—many of them by overwhelming margins—banning same-sex unions.

Indeed, both the Clinton and Bush administrations supported the Defense of Marriage Act, which endorsed the traditional and historic view and rights of marriage between a man and woman. President George W. Bush even called for a constitutional amendment to further strengthen the historic definition of marriage. Bush said, “The union of a man and a woman is the most enduring human institution, honored and encouraged in all cultures, and by every religious faith.”

Yet under the zealous gay/lesbian activism of President Obama—who in his first term actually opposed same-sex marriage—the floodgates of acceptance of this practice of sexual immorality were opened wide.

white-house-lit-up-1-1024x703

The White House was lit up in rainbow colors June 26 2015 to celebrate the Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage.

Never, though, would I have dreamed that our president would light up the White House with the vivid, bright rainbow colors of the gay movement. It was a deliberate, measured step by the president to flaunt and celebrate a disastrous ruling that blatantly defies God’s moral law.

I am reminded of the Bible’s admonition to the Romans, whose culture had been rapidly descending into sexual chaos, especially with the overt, shameless practice of homosexuality. “Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them” (Romans 1:32, emphasis mine).

I cannot overstate what a dangerous era we have now entered. Immorality and depraved debauchery are not only endorsed by courts and political leaders, but these are joyfully celebrated. God’s standards are mocked and ridiculed in the process, and the battle lines are clearly drawn for decades to come between a decadent, defiant culture and believers who are committed to the truth of the Gospel.

The Scriptures state just how serious the rejection of God’s truth can be for a people: “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law” (Proverbs 29:18). The church of the Lord Jesus Christ provides culture not only with encouraging salt and light but also with a divine restraint on the spread of evil and wickedness.

Attempts to throw off biblical morality never result in the freedoms anticipated. The end is always increasing enslavement to immorality, a consequence that ultimately can lead to the demise of a civilization. Destructive behavior of every kind is gradually unleashed, ushering in increasing lawlessness and corruption. I don’t think we realize the horror that awaits a people who rebel and reject God’s authority.

Ironically, the very symbol the gay/lesbian movement has chosen—the rainbow—should remind us all of God’s righteous judgment and His gracious, covenantal restraint until that Day. When the rainbow appeared after the flood to Noah, God’s promise wasn’t that He would never destroy the Earth again—but simply that He would not use a worldwide flood to do so.

The rainbow came after the iniquity of man had become such a stench in God’s nostrils that God acted to cleanse the earth, sparing only Noah and his family. At Christ’s return, the earth, the heavens and mankind will come under the intense judgment of God. “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and works that are done on it will be exposed” (2 Peter 3:10).

When the rainbow appears in the Book of Revelation, it precedes the impending, unstoppable wrath that will come upon all who rebel against Christ.

The Apostle John writes: “Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over the head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire” (Revelation 10:1). Unprecedented woes of God’s end-time judgment have commenced, as Almighty God prepares a new Heaven and a new Earth where righteousness reigns and sin is forever banished.

Incredibly, as the severity of God’s judgments escalate, rebellious and hard-hearted men continue to shake their fists in the face of God. “They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory” (Revelation 16:9).

My prayer is that in every state, God will raise up committed, bold followers of Christ who will have the courage to run for local, state and national offices, and perhaps by the grace of God, overcome the spread of wickedness in our nation.

For while I do not understate the challenges that lie ahead for our nation and for the church in what is fast becoming (and perhaps already is) a post-Christian America, neither do I dare underestimate the power of the Gospel. It convicts of sin and righteousness. It confronts those living in rebellion with truth and consequences. It transforms any person willing to turn from sin and put their faith in the Savior.

Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ may increasingly be in the minority, but “nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few” (1 Samuel 14:6).

As you go through this unpredictable life, hold on to the sweetness of God’s character, for that will provide both stability and sensitivity

As you go through this unpredictable life, hold on to the sweetness of God’s character, for that will provide both stability and sensitivity

How you handle frustration, annoyance and persecution today will add blessings to you in Heaven

Getting even feels good! That’s why people do it—vengeance temporarily gives them a sense of satisfaction, though it quickly dissipates into regret. Have you ever read one of those imprecatory psalms? You know, the ones where David called down God’s wrath on someone? “Break their teeth in their mouth, O God!” (Psalm 58:6). While it’s not my life verse, I confess I’ve imprecated people on the freeway or over parking spaces from time to time.

But I’ve learned something: As I truly pray for people, my heart begins to change. As I start asking God to bless them, my heart begins to soften and becomes more Christlike.

Exhibiting a loving humility is easier said than done because people are neither always tender hearted nor always sympathetic. Often we are met with blatant hostility. And Peter calls us to a gentle response: “Not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing” (1 Peter 3:9). We’re not sure if he was referring to unbelievers persecuting believers or if he was speaking about fellow believers with whom we have a disagreement.

Either way, we should respond the same way: GENTLY.

Don’t fight back. We bless “that [we] might inherit a blessing.” The New Living Translation makes it even stronger: “Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.” When Peter penned this, he may have been thinking back to the time he tried to fight evil with evil in the Garden of Gethsemane. As the enemies came to arrest Jesus, Peter snatched a sword and went right for Malchus’s ear! After Jesus restored the man’s ear, He instructed Peter to put away his weapon, “for all who take the sword will perish by the sword” (Matthew 26:52). Peter knew from first hand experience both the temptation to take vengeance and the importance of leaving it up to God.

One of the greatest virtues that separates Christianity from other belief systems is that we are taught not to avenge ourselves nor ignore our dissenters. We are commanded to love our enemies. This kind of response was virtually unheard of in antiquity. Human nature—then and now—is best summed up in the Old Testament law known as the LEX TALIONIS, which prescribed a restricted vengeance of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth (see Exodus 21). Vengeance limited to fair restitution is one thing, but to bless instead?

Peter was saying that when you bless instead of curse—when, instead of doing what feels right, you do what is right—you will be blessed. How you handle frustration, annoyance and persecution today will add blessings to you in Heaven. Jesus said, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven” (Matthew 5:11-12). As Solomon noted, “A soft answer turns away wrath” (Proverbs 15:1). Part of the blessing is that it defuses your anger, allowing your wrath to be neutralized by time and calmer emotions. The other part is that it attracts others to Jesus’ message of love and forgiveness.

A pastor from Argentina named Juan Carlos Ortiz wrote about a leadership conference he attended. He said, “I saw a man who was in my former denomination, so I went over to him to hug him.” But the man saw him coming and growled, “Don’t hug me.” Ortiz replied, “Well, I love you.” The man almost shouted in response, “You cannot love me because I am your enemy!” Ortiz responded, “Praise the Lord! I didn’t know you were my enemy, but here’s an opportunity for me to love my enemies.” He walked up to him, hugged him close, and prayed aloud, “Thank you, Jesus, for my precious enemy.” Within one year, Ortiz was preaching at the man’s church. His gentle response led to a giant blessing.

And there’s a practical reason to seek that blessing. Quoting Psalm 34, Peter said, “For ‘He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it’” (1 Peter 3:10-11).

Do you love life? Do you want to be happy—to experience and enjoy the blessing of God in your life? Then love people—the good and the bad. Respond to people’s snorts and brusque comments with something that will surprise them. Show them love. If you love people, you’ll love life.

Why is this so important? Because many don’t love life; they tolerate it, or even hate it.

Even Solomon—who had so much—came to a point where he said, “Therefore, I hated life … for all is vanity and vexation of spirit” (Ecclesiastes 2:17, KJV). I even know some Christians who, when I ask how they’re doing, just answer, “Oh, I’m OK. Making it through.” It’s understandable to feel that way during a rough week or two, but month after month, year after year, for a whole lifetime? It reminds me of the pessimistic donkey from Winnie the Pooh. I wonder, did the spirit of Eeyore take over?

God’s perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), which should motivate us to leave Him in control. Everyone you encounter is allowed into your life by God for His own purposes. When you realize that, you’ll want to make sure that you bless whoever it may be, not curse them. Peter offered further motivation: “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous” (1 Peter 3:12).

Not only is God looking after you, He’s listening to you. Peter continued: “And His ears are open to their prayers” (1 Peter 3:12). I don’t have to worry about those who are trying to do me evil. God will deal with them in His own way, so I don’t have to exact revenge.

As you go through this unpredictable life, hold on to the sweetness of God’s character, for that will provide both stability and sensitivity. Remember, there was a time when you were unlovely, when you rejected Him, when you failed to love others the way He does, and yet Jesus loved and died for you (see Romans 5:8).

So, here we are, not the company of the faultless but of the forgiven. The proof is in our open doors and open hearts. We welcome the unlovely, the hurting, the coarse—we welcome each other. We let go of ourselves and our self-centeredness and hold on to Jesus. While we will feel upset—in the car or the grocery line or in conversation—we can choose to show His compassion, His patience, His humility and tender-heartedness. In this way, we avoid the vanity of vengeance—by the sweetness, the kindness, the respect and wonder of His love.

God knows what He is doing! His plans are perfect!

2-Corinthians_12-9: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me

2-Corinthians_12-9: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me

My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.

2 Corinthians 12:9, NKJV

“Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female” (Gen. 7:2-3, NIV ). Just how big was Noah’s assignment? We know that there are more than eighteen thousand different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians today. If the number is doubled to include two of every kind, with several thousand extras added to make up the five additional pairs of each “clean” species, then double all of that to include any that have become extinct, the total figure is about seventy-five thousand animals!

According to the dimensions given, when Noah had all the animals assembled on the ark, only 60 percent of the available space would have been occupied. The remaining 40 percent would be available for food storage and living quarters for Noah’s family. It all worked, as impossible as it had seemed!

God knows what He is doing! His plans are perfect! You can obey His instructions with confidence!

God Is Still At Work In You

God Is Still At Work In You

Ephesians_3-20: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us

Ephesians_3-20: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us

Sing praises on the harp to our God, who covers the heavens with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth.

Psalm 147:7-8, NKJV

Although God was actively involved throughout the Creation process, in the beginning the “earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep” (Gen. 1:2,NIV).

If you and I had been present at that time to view the earth, we might have had the impression that because we could not see any evidence of God’s activity, He was not doing anything. Yet at that very time, “the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters” (Gen. 1:2, NIV). He was actively preparing Planet Earth to receive His Word and be transformed into a place of beauty and purpose.

Are you concerned for a friend whose life is like “the surface of the deep”– undulating, unstable, always changing, and moody? Even though you have prayed without ceasing, have you seen no evidence of God’s activity in that person’s life? Have you therefore concluded that God is not active? Place your faith in the God of Creation and be encouraged! He is active whether or not you and I can see evidence of His activity.

Please Let Jesus Fix You!

Please Let Jesus Fix You!

John_1-3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John_1-3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

By Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible, and invisible.

Colossians 1:16, NKJV

It can be mind boggling to contemplate the vastness of the universe, from the greatest star to the smallest particle. It is so vast that astronomers are now saying that it stretches beyond what we are capable of penetrating, even with sophisticated telescopes like the Hubble. And every bit of it was created by the Living Word of God, Who, even as He hung the stars in space, counted them and called them each by name!

Not only did He create objects of massive size, but He also created such minute, delicate, intricate things as snowflakes, no two of which are the same.

Jesus Christ is the One by Whom, for Whom, through Whom everything was made. Therefore, He knows what’s wrong in your life and how to fix it. Let Him take charge. Give Him the authority to put it right.

Thank You Jesus.
