Beloved, Take Your Eyes Off People. Trust Only In The Lord Your God

Psalms_28-7: The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Isaiah_26-4: Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Psalm 146:3 (KJV)

Beloved, take your eyes off people. Why? Because people are limited. God can use them, but don’t focus on people. Let your eyes be on Jesus, and God will move people on your behalf. When you look up to people instead of God, you will lose focus. Remember that people will only disappoint you. Abraham was almost disappointed when Lot abandoned him, but God said to him, “Look from where you are.” In other words, God was saying, “Don’t be disappointed. Don’t pay attention to him.” Look to God! Understand that people will always disappoint you. Yes, it is good to thank God for the people He has brought into your life. You should celebrate the goodness of God upon their lives, but never forget that they are not your source. GOD is your source.

God is good! He will move in the hearts of people, but you must first settle it in your heart that God is your source. The truth is that every good gift and every perfect gift comes from Him. The best of men are still men, and they are limited. People are limited by death. Even if they are sincere and have the genuine intent to help you, they may die, fall sick, or go bankrupt before they are able to do so. They may be limited by a doctor’s report, by ill health, by a natural disaster, by an economic decline, or by the loss of power or a position. You may know a medical specialist who is not able to help you with your ill health. Should you die because man has failed? God forbid! Man can fail, but the God that you and I serve never will.

I declare to you today that you will never be disappointed as you keep your eyes focused on God. His promises shall come to pass in your life, and everyone who sees you will come to acknowledge that you are the seed the Lord has blessed. I bless you today in the name of the Lord. Amen!

Speak! Child Of God! Make Declarations! Death And Life Are In The Power Of The Tongue!

Psalms_91-2: I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust

“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.” Proverbs 18:20 (KJV)

If you truly desire the good life, you must refuse to keep your mouth closed about the troubling situations around you. Don’t join the company of those who say what will be, will be. Whether something will be a certain way depends on you. Don’t keep your mouth shut; rather, speak as your Father spoke. In Mark 4, we are told that there was an incident where a storm broke out unannounced upon Jesus and His disciples. While the disciples were busy bailing out water from the boat, the Master was fast asleep. Jesus was able to sleep in the face of a storm because He was not on the same level as the disciples. When He woke up, He spoke to the storm and the weather calmed down.

Right there, God is giving you a template for how to approach troubling situations. When you learn to speak to contrary situations in your life, they will have no choice other than to bow down. You must come to the point where you speak what you believe because your confession will ultimately bring possession. I encourage you to begin to speak to your finances, business, marriage, health, and ministry. And you will begin to see changes.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Joshua 1:8 (KJV) says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Child of God, I challenge you to internalise who you are. Sit down and collect scriptures that talk about your ability in Christ. Meditate on them. Understand and be convinced that you are in Christ; therefore you are His ambassador here on earth. Walk in the privilege of your relationship with God. You cannot fail in Jesus name.

You are alive today for a purpose and for a reason just to continue in the program and plans of God for your generation.

I know so many people would have loved to have such opportunity but some are dead right now and some are on the hospital bed in pains and agony.

Is it because you and I are better than them or that we are living a righteous life?

Not exactly!

The fact remains that, God loves you so much than you love Him or yourself and He does what pleases Him, hence no one can question His decision to keep you alive till now against the wish of your enemies.

Take advantage of the moment and strive to stay alive.

Take advantage of the privilege you have been given and pursue after your dreams more than ever before.

Take advantage of the opportunity you have right now and live your life to please the Almighty God rather than mankind.

Of course, if you labour to please mankind, you will have a reward here on earth but it might not last long and mankind will want to make you their slave and even mock you for the temporarily good and few favours they have shown you.

But when you serve God and do everything to please Him, your reward shall be eternal and with all the blessings you have from Him here on earth, He will grant you joy unspeakable and peace beyond human understanding.

Be thankful to God for granting you another beautiful day to live and another opportunity to mend your ways.

Acts_16-31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house

John_14-1: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”. Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)

The New Covenant believer is not a beggar; in fact, as a New Testament believer, your prayer is a prayer of declaration because God has already blessed you with every spiritual blessing. And as you know, the spiritual precedes the physical. Everything that you will ever desire has been made available to you. It is free not because it is worth nothing, but because someone has paid in full for it.

When Jesus went on the cross and said that the work is finished, He meant everything that you ever need has been fully paid for. He paid for your sins in full, so the devil cannot hold you to anything because Jesus paid for it. He qualified you for every blessing. He did all the work for you so you don’t have to do anything anymore. All you need to do is accept it.

Remember that the people asked Jesus, “What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?” (John 6:28, KJV). And He said, “This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent” (John 6:29, KJV). Did you understand that? There is nothing more to do than to believe in Him who has done it all. I am sure it sounds easy to you, in fact too easy, but that is the challenge. Man is too used to struggling so accepting the finished work on the cross is like climbing a steep mountain. We want to work for the blessing; we want to earn it. But God is saying you cannot earn it. Simply believe and receive it.

As you prepare for the fast, take a moment to write down all the things that you are trusting in Him for. Then write all the relevant scriptures beside them and make the list your book of declaration. Throughout this year, declare the word at least twice a day, morning and evening. If you can, carry it around and declare it as many times as possible and see God move in your life. Beloved, all things are yours.

Prayer Points When Facing Trials Of Faith.

James_1-3: Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience

1. Thank You Father for the multitude of Your counsels, that have enabled me to experience peace, even, in the midst of life’s trials and storms.

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Everyone desires success. Simply wanting it, however, won’t guarantee achievement. That’s why many people fail to reach their goal: They encounter hardship and give up.
So let’s discuss one characteristic needed to accomplish what you set out to do: Persistence is the combination of strong desire and willpower. Paul exemplified this capacity to stay on course in the face of difficulty and refuse to quit. He was passionate about sharing the gospel with both Jews and Gentiles across the known world. Acts 20:24 records his purpose: “That I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.” Though he encountered tremendous obstacles like shipwreck, prison, physical punishment, and constant danger, the apostle never quit (2 Corinthians 11:23-28).

 
What motivated Paul to persevere amidst struggles?
First, he had a clear God-given goal and trusted that the Lord would enable him to achieve it.

Second, the apostle felt indebted to share the life-changing truth of salvation.

Third, he knew the devastation awaiting those who do not know Jesus.

 
Paul had his eyes fixed on his purpose, which he so valued that no circumstance could deter him. Ultimately, he achieved what almighty God had ordained.
The Father has great goals for His children. Striving for anything less will neither fulfill us nor achieve what He’s planned in our life. Once His direction is clear, we should passionately pursue God’s purposes with the Holy Spirit’s strength and guidance—especially when obstacles arise. Don’t give up!
