GOD WILL INCREASE YOU.

Proverbs_13-11: Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase

“You will give me greater honor than before and turn again and comfort me.” Psalm 71:21 (TLB)

Today, I prophesy over your life that the Lord will increase you in this second half of 2016. All that you have experienced this year for good will be multiplied in your life in the coming second half. The path of the just, the Bible says in Prov. 4:18, is like shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. I declare over you that your tomorrow will be greater. The Lord who has taken you through this year will perfect all that concerns you this year. He will cause you to eat the riches of the gentiles and in their glory you will make your boast (Is. 61:6). The Lord who has called you by your name will ensure that head or tail your win. He will make all things work together for your good this year.

All the years the locust, the caterpillar and the palmerworm have eaten shall be restored. Great grace will rest upon you.

Remember, as you enter into the new year, make your plans, pray over them, draw up action points, review and make amends every month as the year progresses so that by this time next year when you will look back at today, you will stand tall to testify that indeed God has been good to you.

Like I always say, the promises of God will not fall on you like a bag of cherries. You need to put action to your faith and see God take you through with a mouth full of testimonies.

I rejoice with you because I know it is a dawn of a new day for you.

Put God First.

Matthew_6-33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt. 6:33 (KJV)

In previous devotion we looked at making plans for the second half of this year and I did emphasise on the need to write down the vision and to regularly review the vision. But much as this is great, you must put God first. Let God be first in everything you do. If you don’t plan how to improve on your relationship with God, you will discover that even the business plans and other plans will fall flat on the ground, because anything not built on God cannot stand.

Remember the story of the builders in Matt. 7, because the house was built on the rock, the rain fell, the wind blew, but the house stood still, because the foundation was on the rock. The only constant in life is God. He is God all by Himself. He does not need your endorsement to be God. He alone can kill and can make alive. He is the Monarch of the Universe and His word is law. So, stop beating about the bush, have a study plan for the year, have a spiritual growth plan for the year. Plan out prayer times, service your prayer altar, put God first in everything that you do and you will see Him come through for you.

If you look at the scripture above in the Amplified version you will have a clearer understanding of that passage. It says: “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” Did you see that? Seek God’s way of doing things Strive after it, aim at it, let it be all that consumes you. When you do, all other things – house, car, money, children, everything that you need will be given to you. So put God first. Make morning devotion a priority, have an effective family altar, study the word of God and be a doer of the word and I guarantee you that you will experience God in a new way in the coming year.

You might have grown spiritually and you pray for 3 hours without break, that does not mean you have reached the peak of your Christian growth. You can set a new mark for the coming year and stretch yourself a bit further in the work of the Kingdom and your life will never remain the same again.

Write The Vision.

Proverbs_3-6: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths

“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV)

I know this is the season of the year when many people write resolutions. Typically, these resolutions go into the trash by the end of the 1st week and if it writer is more persistent, it may go on till the end of the 1st month, but rarely does it extend to the end of the 1st quarter. But today, I am encouraging you to write the vision for the coming second half this year. Like I said in my previous devotional, what do you want to become? What do you need to do to achieve the dream? What steps will you take? Document it every step of the way. Go a step further to break it down to weeks, months and then the year. Draw up action plans – what you need to do to achieve the goals.

Don’t just have it in the air, document it. Put it where you can easily refer to it. Make a habit of reviewing it regularly; learn from God who after each day of creation reviewed and said it was good. So like your Father, review your plan, look at how far you have gone, make corrections where you need to and be assured that the rest of this year 2016 will be the most productive you have ever had.

Don’t wait for the year to end to review your plans, develop a culture to review, assess, put up action plans to make amends where the need arises and simply follow the leading of the Holy Spirit every step of the way.

I prophesy over your life that the second half of this year 2016 will be greater than the first half in Jesus’ name. Amen!

God Is Too Faithful To Fail.

Psalms_119-90: Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth

“And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said; and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken” Gen. 21:1

Today you probably have a list of things you thought you would have achieved by now this year that did not come through, I come to encourage you not to give up. Understand and settle it deep within your heart that God is TOO FAITHFUL to fail. He will not be faithful; He is FAITHFUL. His name is FAITHFUL. It is not a quality He will acquire tomorrow, it is a part of Him. FAITHFUL is His name. So don’t get discouraged. Don’t bury your head and think it is all over. Delay is not denial, don’t pack up just yet, God has a miracle in stock for you.

With this at the back of your mind, begin to make plans. Take stock of the first half of this year: what are the things you planned to do? What were the things you were able to do? What are the things outstanding? How relevant are those things to you now? Then from there, build your plan for the second half of the year: What do you want to achieve? Where do you want to be by this time next year? What do you need to put in place to achieve it – is it a course you must take? A payment to make? A saving culture to develop? Determine it and write it all down.

Then take it to the Lord in prayer. Seek His face; receive instruction from His mouth and be assured that all He has promised you He will do. Your God is TOO FAITHFUL to fail.

WEEP NO MORE.

Revelation_21-4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

“And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.” Deuteronomy 34:8 (KJV)

Dearly beloved, let me ask you: what has died in your life that you are still weeping over? What is that situation that has given you sleepless night and forced you to wet your pillows with tears in the wee hours of the morning? What is that condition that appears so overwhelming that you cannot overcome? Whatever it is, I come to you with a word from God: today your weeping comes to an end.

In the scripture above, the children of Israel had cried and mourned for 30 days at the death of Moses. If you read that scripture too fast, you might not understand the gravity. Moses was the man who brought them out of Egypt. He was God’s mouthpiece to them. The people had no other clue to getting direction from God outside Moses. God did incredible things through Moses that commanded their respect. Then suddenly, Moses was gone. Imagine the feel of hopelessness and helplessness that enveloped them and then Joshua, who was neither tried nor tested was to assume leadership. Imagine how they felt when even the promised land was still a promise yet to manifest and Moses was gone. Yet after 30 days, the bible says the days of weeping and mourning were ended.

Let me ask you again: what dream, vision, hope, aspiration, or person has died in your life and you have mourned for so many days? I charge you today to rise up from the bed of mourning because a brand new day is about to break. God will wipe away your tears. All the years the locust, the caterpillar, the palmerworm has eaten shall all be restored. Get ready for a divine restoration in every area of your life because God will make all things new.
