WE ARE MIRACLE WORKERS

Verily, verily, I say
unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and
greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father (John 14:112)

Our Lord Jesus Christ
performed several miracles while He was here on earth; He healed the sick,
raised the dead, multiplied food, and turned water into wine. His life was an
unending stream of the miraculous. As He prepared to leave the earth, He
declared that those who believed in Him would do even greater works than He
did. That means He has made us miracle workers just like Him! He said “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than
these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

When Peter and John met the crippled man at the gate of the
temple, Peter said “Silver and gold have I
none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth
rise up and walk”
(Acts 3:6). Then Peter grabbed the man’s hand and lifted
him up and he walked! Peter didn’t pray to God to heal the man; Peter performed
the miracle in the Name of Jesus Christ! That’s the kind of life He’s called us
to live. Remember the words of the Master:
“Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you”
(Acts
1:8). Power is the “dynamic ability to cause changes”

The question therefore is: have you received the Holy Ghost?
If you have, then you’re a miracle worker like Our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ, for it was the Holy Ghost in Him that made Him do those works. Whether it’s
someone around you who needs the miracle, or it’s you, you can effect the
change you desire. Is someone sick around you? Go ahead and lay your hands on
that one and demand a recovery in the Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Is it a miracle you need at work? Declare the change you want to see in the
Name of Jesus Christ! You have no reason to feel disadvantaged or helpless
anymore, because miracle-working ability is in you now!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank
You for putting Your Spirit within me. He is the difference in my life and the
power through which I effect changes in my circumstances. I am a
miracle-worker, and so there is no disadvantage to me or to those around me! In
Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

I wonder what it would be like to see God (Isaiah 6)

I WONDER WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO SEE GOD (ISAIAH 6)

Prophet Isaiah found out!  He had a vision of what it would be like to
see God. And God was very great and mighty.

He is surrounded by angels. When the
angels spoke, the Temple shook and was filled with smoke. It was both wonderful
and frightening.

Seeing The Lord and listening to the praise of the angels,
Isaiah realized that he was unfit to be in God’s presence. He cried out because
of his sinfulness. Then an angel brought a burning coal and announced that his
sins are forgiven.

Our God is great and awesome; He is also loving and
forgiving. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that God is weak or small just
because you can’t see Him.

And don’t make mistake of ignoring the forgiveness He offers
through Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

The good news

THE GOOD NEWS

What is The Good News?

The Good News is that God came to earth as human being (Our
Lord Jesus Christ), paid for our sin, and wants us to live with him in
Paradise.

Why is this Good News? God is offering us freedom, peace,
hope, and eternal life instead of judgement and death.

“This Good News tells us how God makes us right in His
sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scripture
says, ‘It is through faith that a
righteous person has life’”
(Romans 1:17).

That really is The
Good News!

May Our God The
Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus
Christ Name, Amen!

Love is the greatest

LOVE IS THE GREATEST

I wonder what Love is?

Love is caring for another person so much that you always do
what is best for him or her. Love is not just wanting something badly, having a
warm feeling, or having a crush on someone. Real love is much more than that.
Sadly, television shows and worldly music will most likely confuse one about
what it means to truly love another person. Our friends often are not much help
either.

First Corinthians 13 clearly explains what God means by
love. This “Love Chapter” shows us what love is, how we are supposed to love
others, and how God loves us! Amen!

1st Corinthians 13:4-8; 13 “Love is patient and
kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand
its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been
wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins
out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures
through every circumstance.

Love will last forever!……………..There are three
things that will endure – Faith, Hope, and Love – and the greatest of these is LOVE!

May The Almighty GOD prosper Nigeria
and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

The Prayer of Petition

THE PRAYER OF PETITION

I exhort therefore,
that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks,
be made for all men (1Timothy 2:1).

There’re different kinds of prayers, and one of them is the
prayer of petition. A petition is a solemn entreaty, a supplication or request
appealing to an authority, or an earnest or humble appeal for something or to
someone. The prayer of petition is one that is done with seriousness and
intensity. It’s heartfelt and earnest.

This kind of praying doesn’t just depend on the length of
the prayer, but on the intensity of the spirit. You can shake the whole world
in a few minutes with it. It’s one that is direct in purpose, zealous, fervent
and marked by a deep feeling of conviction as described for us in James 5:16(AMP):
“……..The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes
tremendous power available (dynamic in its working)”.

It’s not every kind of prayer that makes tremendous power
available, but the prayer of petition does, and that power is dynamic in its
working. In other word, it works like dynamite. The King James Version calls it
“effectual and fervent.” That means it burns like fire! We read in the
Amplified Version that it is “heartfelt and continued.” It’s heartfelt because it
touches your heart; it gets a hold of your emotions.’

Sometimes, people pray without emotions, as though they
don’t even understand the subject they’re praying about. But the prayer of
petition is involving. It gets your emotions, and sometimes you find yourself
crying when you pray like this. Such prayers are hard to shout; they’re called
supplications, that is, humble, earnest requests.

At such times, you’re so humble you go on your knees or
prostrate on the floor before the LORD. Nobody may even hear you, but you’re
pouring out your heart before The LORD. It’s not the kind of prayer where you
talk just for two minutes and stop. It’s earnest, heartfelt and continued.  Learn to pray like this often, for this kind
of prayer makes tremendous power available.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for teaching me to prayer earnest, heartfelt and continued prayers.
As I spend time to pray like this today, Your divine power is manifested,
changes are effected, and circumstances in my life are changed, in Jesus Christ
Name I pray! Amen!

Bow down Your ear, O Lord, hear me; for I am poor and need (Psalm 86:1)

BOW DOWN YOUR EAR, O LORD, HEAR ME; FOR I AM POOR AND NEEDY
(Psalm 86:1)

In one way or another, we can all relate to Psalm 86:1 where
David says, “I am poor and needy”. Even the richest among us should understand
that poverty and need relate more to the spirit than to the wallet. When
billionaire Rich DeVos speaks to groups he often says, “I’m just a sinner saved
by grace.”

Psalm 86 tells us that the help God provides is not measured
by a monetary ledger sheet. When we acknowledge that we are poor and needy,
it’s not so God will lavish material riches on us. No! We do so to open the
door to other, more valuable treasures.

Here’s what God does for the poor and needy. He will
“preserve” our lives and “save” all those who trust in Him (v.2). He will be
“merciful” and “ready to forgive” (vv.3, 5). He will listen to and answer our
prayers (vv.6, 7).

But we’re not to take God’s blessings without giving back.
We have a responsibility to learn God’s ways, walk in His truth, “fear [God’s]
name,” praise the Lord, and “glorify [His] name” (vv.11-12).

Do you consider
yourself among the “poor and needy?” if so, welcome to the club. Let’s not
forget all the spiritual blessings. God has for us and the godly response we
should have towards His generosity – Dave Branon

We’re thankful for the blessings, Lord,

You give us day by day;

Now help us show our gratitude

By walking in your way, O Lord! Amen! – sper

We are more than conquerors

No Greater LoveWE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS

Nay, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us (Romans 8:37)

To many people, the verse of the Scripture above simply
means that no matter what they face, they’ll conquer, but that’s a little blind
to the true meaning. To be “more than a conqueror” means that you’ve passed
conquering – you’ve grown past the level of conquering, because you conquered a
long time ago. You’re now living in the victory of Christ Jesus!

As a child of God, you don’t have to struggle or try to
overcome because you already overcame; you’ve won! Jesus said “Cheer up, I have
overcome the world” (John 16:33). When He overcame the world, you overcame the
world, for you were in Him. When He defeated satan and the cohorts of hell, you
were in Him, thus you defeated the devil and all his demons. Now that you’re
born again, you’re born into a life of victory. Don’t allow the circumstances
of life try to make you condescend to the level of trying to overcome anything;
you’re more than a conqueror. Let this be your way of thinking.

You’re not a victim but a victor. You won ever before there
was any battle. This is why 1 Timothy 6:12 referred to the fight of faith as a good fight.
You were declared winner ever before the fight! Become conscious of who you are
in Christ. You’re a victor in Christ Jesus. It’s no longer possible for you to
fail or be defeated in life, for the Greater One lives in you. He has made you
more than a conqueror.

CONFESSION

I’m a victor in
Christ Jesus. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I can
never fail or be defeated in life. My victory is assured in every circumstance
or situation I face! I’ve overcome the world and its systems. I’ve overcome
sickness, disease, death and the devil. I’m more than a conqueror.

Blessed Are The Pure In Heart For They Shall See God

Jesus is considered by scholars such as Weber ...

Image via Wikipedia

BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD

The Bible says the “The pure in heart” are blessed and they
shall “see God”. But what does it mean to be “Pure in heart?” reading this
scripture from the Living Bible makes it clearer: “A person of pure heart sees goodness and purity in everything; but a
person whose own heart is evil and untrusting find evil in everything, for his
dirty mind and rebellious heart colour all he sees and hears”
(Titus 1:15).
Thus the “Pure in heart” is the one who sees God in everything! He lives on the
positive side of life – he believes the best of everyone and everything he
sees.

The one who isn’t pure in heart, however, is “Mr Suspicious”;
he sees things from the negative perspective and is a perpetual fault-finder. Such
folks always have something negative to say about others because they don’t
look at them with the eyes of the Spirit; they don’t see them through God’s
eyes. That’s unlike the guy who is pure in heart; he looks at people from the
perspective of the Spirit and sees God in them! He looks beyond their faults
and sees the beauty of God in them.

When you’re pure in heart, others may think you’re naïve,
but you’re not. You’re acting like Jesus, who didn’t condemn the woman caught
in the act of adultery (John 8:3-11). Of course, Jesus didn’t agree with the
woman’s lifestyle but He saw the good in her. He saw what she could become,
thus asked her to go and sin no more (John 8:11). See the God-side of life
always, for that’s the way your Heavenly Father is!

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for making me pure in heart, and teaching me to see the good and
positive side of those around me! I ask that You help me see things from Your
perspective, and I declare by faith that I’m pure and innocent in heart, just
as You are, in Jesus Christ Name I pray! Amen!

God Delights in Our Prayers

GOD DELIGHTS IN OUR PRAYERS

The sacrifice of the
wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is His
delight (Proverbs 15:8)

What makes the prayer of the righteous delightsome to God
isn’t just its content but the one who’s praying. You see, no father will be
happy to see his child go to a stranger to ask for money, food or clothing. It’s
the delight of every good parent to meet their children’s requests. Likewise,
it’s the delight of our Heavenly Father to answer us when we present our
request to Him through prayers. He doesn’t want us looking up to our spouse,
our businesses, or the government for our needs; He’s the One Who supplies all
our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

It’s important, however, that we recognize that our requests
or the content of our prayers should change as we mature in God’s Word. As a
child, I’m sure you wanted to have virtually everything you saw. You saw a dog
passing and you wanted one; you saw a train and you wanted one too. Many of
these things you didn’t get because you weren’t mature enough to handle the
responsibility connected with possessing them.

But as you grew, you put away that childish attitude. You must
also get to a stage in your spiritual life where you no longer need to ask
before your needs are met. All you do is praise and thank God, having become
convinced of His unfeigned and unconditional love towards you.

There may have been a time when everything you said in your
prayers was only about you: “O Lord give me this; give me that.” “Keep the
devil away from me; don’t let the devil trouble me anymore.” But as you grew in
God’s Word, you began to say, “God, give me souls; help me win more people to
you.” You started praying more for others than for yourself. Your vision
expanded; you became more concerned about the vision of Our Heavenly Father for
the world.

CONFESSION

I declare in the Name
of Jesus Christ, that my prayers are delightsome to God because I’m a maturing
child of God, increasing in the revelation of God’s Word. Today, I make
selfless requests and supplications to my Father with praise and thanksgiving
knowing that all my needs are already met, in Jesus Christ Name I pray. Amen!

Our Future Is Bright: For In God’s Presence There Is Fullness Of Joy And At His Right Hand There Are Pleasures Forever more

OUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT: FOR IN GOD’S PRESENCE THERE IS FULLNESS
OF JOY AND AT HIS RIGHT HAND THERE ARE PLEASURES FOREVERMORE.

Howbeit when He, the
Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for He shall not
speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He
will shew you things to come (John 16:13)

As one who is born again, you don’t have to be anxious about
the future, for your future is bright. Jesus said “When The Holy Spirit, who is truth, come….He will tell you about the
future”
(John 16:13 TLB). The man without the Holy Spirit is the one who
should be uncertain about his future. He’s like an airplane without a pilot, or
a ship without a captain, lost at sea, bobbing about in the water. He’s a
traveller, wandering aimlessly, with a ticket to nowhere.

But for you that are born again, life doesn’t have to be
mysterious anymore for the Holy Spirit living in you came to guide you and
bring the future into your present. The Psalmist said, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of
joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore”
(Psalm 16:11)

By yourself, you can’t know the path of life that brings
success, joy, victory and prosperity, but the Holy Spirit has come to lead you
into that path. He knows how to take you through life’s journey and make you a
success, for He sees the end from the beginning. He came to guide you and show
you visions of the future. Let Him have His way in you today!

PRAYER

Holy Father, I thank
You for the great and wonderful future You’ve planned for me! Today as I yield
to the leading, guidance and counsel of Your Spirit, the eyes of my spirit are
open to recognize and walk in the path of blessings that You’ve ordained for me
to walk in, in Jesus Christ Holy Name I pray, Amen!
