MESSAGE:
In conclusion of the teaching I started two days ago on gender and sexuality, I will like to share an experience I had with you. Some years ago, I was in one of the Western nations to preach, and a journalist interviewed me about my views on same-sex marriage. I told the fellow interviewing me that God made men and women to reproduce after their kind. Then I asked, “Is it possible for people of the same gender to produce offspring?” I concluded by telling the interviewer that if everyone was getting married to someone of the same sex, the world will come to an end in this generation.
As a child of God, whenever you have the opportunity to speak about homosexuality, don’t beat around the bush. The reason evil thrives is that good people are too afraid to say the truth. Don’t keep quiet when people say that they are sexually attracted to people of the same gender as them. Don’t judge or condemn them, rather, tell them the truth with love. Condemning them will only make them put up a fight, and our God is not a God of condemnation, but of love. Speak to them in love, but still show them from the Scriptures that what they are feeling is not from God because He clearly speaks against it. Tell them that you are willing to pray with them and help them overcome that feeling.
Today’s Bible reading tells us what happens to people when they are left to their reprobate minds; such people cannot end well unless they repent. Stand firm against homosexuality and do everything you can to show people that are sexually attracted to individuals of the same sex the right way to live from the Scriptures. Lot stood firm against homosexuality in Genesis 19:1-7, even when he was under severe pressure. He did not allow the men of Sodom to come into his house to have sexual relations with the angels that he invited in, even though they pressed on him greatly and were going to break into his home.
Beloved, I know that in some countries, the government has made it illegal to speak the truth as regards homosexuality. However, we have a greater government in Christ, and we must represent Him everywhere we go. Do not stand by and do nothing while people are on their way to destruction; you have a responsibility to save as many as you can Jude 1:17-23.

Recently, I shared that you can use your money to create unseen wealth, and as your wealth opens doors, you should remember that you are called to serve. Today, I want to provide additional keys to creating invisible wealth: You can increase your favor with God, just as Jesus did. The Bible teaches that if you tithe, God will open the storehouses of heaven and pour abundance into your life. It also says that anyone who gives to the poor lends to God. Be generous and give to the poor, and watch how opportunities arise for you. When you encounter these opportunities, take the initiative to plant a seed.
Consider this opportunity to use money to create invisible wealth. I’ve mentioned this countless times: Invest in yourself! Often, I hear people say, “I’ve saved up a thousand dollars, and I want to invest it. What’s the best return I can get?” They’re looking for answers like, “Should I buy some crypto, invest in NFTs, which represent unique assets like pieces of art or digital content or put my money in the S&P 500 or real estate?” But the best answer is more straightforward. If all you have is a thousand dollars that you’ve saved and want to invest, here’s what you should do: buy a thousand dollars worth of books and read them. That investment will provide a much greater return than the seven percent you might get in the stock market.
Friend, always remember to appreciate the hidden treasures that surround you every day; they are often the most valuable! Life becomes more pleasant when you seek grace and acceptance with God and others on a daily basis. You can grow in wisdom, maturity, and favor with God and people, much like Jesus did.

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. (Matthew 6:33)
In his book “Living Life on Purpose”, Greg Anderson shares the story of one man’s journey to joy: … his wife had left him, and he was completely depressed. He had lost faith in himself, in other people, in God. He found no joy in living.
One rainy morning this man went to a small neighbourhood restaurant for breakfast. Although several people were at the diner, no one was speaking to anyone else. Our miserable friend hunched over the counter, stirring his coffee with a spoon. In one of the small booths along the window was a young mother with a little girl. They had just been served their food when the little girl broke the sad silence by almost shouting, “Momma, why don’t we say our prayers here?” The waitress who had just served their breakfast turned around and said, “Sure, honey, we pray here. Will you say the prayer for us?” And she turned and looked at the rest of the people in the restaurant and said, “Bow your heads.”
Surprisingly, one by one, the heads went down. The little girl then bowed her head, folded her hands, and said, “God is great, God is good, and we thank him for our food. Amen.”
That prayer changed the entire atmosphere. People began to talk with one another. The waitress said, “We should do that every morning.” “All of a sudden,” said our friend, “my whole frame of mind started to improve. From that little girl’s example, I started to thank God for all that I DID have and stop majoring in all that I DIDN’T have. I started to choose happiness.”
I have personally experienced the difference it makes when you start your day off with Christ. Spending even 10 minutes reading a verse and in prayer can change your mood and set the tone for your day. And when the day starts getting stressful, which can sometimes happen with our busy schedules, I listen to worship music and sing along!
When we put God first in our lives, we are acknowledging that he is greater than any problem, any worry, any stressor, any decision, and any life event. By putting Him first, we are also accepting the fact that we are not in control – HE IS! God will provide all of our needs when we seek Him first and live righteously. Let us stop excessively thinking of our “to-do list”, spend some time with our Father, and experience true happiness which only he can give.
Prayer: Dear God, it is easy to prioritize our days based on our schedules. Help me realize that it is not about me, but all about you! I choose to put you first, trusting that you go before me, and you are in control. I choose to experience true happiness by counting my blessings and abiding in You. Thank You for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

I don’t know where you were yesterday and what you are undergoing now, but it’s evident in the Bible that our God is perfect and this is a new day, a new dawn.

Hebrews_11-1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
Memorise: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. – Hebrews 11:1
Read: James 2:14-23 (KJV)
14What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

MESSAGE:
Our memory verse for today provides the best explanation on the subject of faith. Practically, faith consists of taking God at His word and acting accordingly. The idea of being sure provides a conviction that what we hope for will happen, not because we can make it happen, but because God has said it will happen.
In John 6:57-58, Our Lord Jesus Christ assures us that His flesh and blood releases divine life. As you drink the wine representing His blood, the Spirit will quicken your body because the wine is equivalent to the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 compares the wine with the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:11 says:
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
This means that if curses are warring against your body, when you partake of the bread and wine, physical victory will be delivered to your body. Are you sick? Has your body been afflicted with terminal ailments? Seek the face of the Lord concerning that sickness, go in faith for the next Holy Communion and you will be healed. There is a user of this devotional with a terminal ailment, as you release your faith and partake of the next Holy Communion, you will be delivered from that ailment in the name of Jesus.
Furthermore, in Luke 24:49, the Lord told His disciples to wait until the power came. That is faith. Waiting on God is an act of faith. While waiting, there would be several distractions and discouraging moments. The devil will bring people to mock you just like they mocked Noah while he was building the ark for a supposed rainfall that had never before experienced. For as long as it takes God to fulfil His promises in your life, WAIT. Don’t get tired! Time spent in waiting on God to fulfil His Word is not wasted at all; it is counted to you as an act of righteousness. You are simply obeying God. Besides this, where to wait could also be very important. The Early Church was asked to wait in the city of Jerusalem. They did not know why, but God knew He had planned to send the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost.
Faith also provides a conviction of certainty for what we do not see. Just as physical eyesight provides evidence about things, faith provides evidence about the invisible. God has promised future blessings and eternal rewards. No one has seen these yet. Still, believers are certain that God will deliver on His promises, and we will one day see and experience these blessings and rewards. Faith proves the reality of what we cannot see. Faith enables Christians to live obediently in the light of what we know will come. “Faith provides a platform for hope and a perception into the reality of what would otherwise remain unseen.”(Donald Guthrie)
Prayer Point: Father, please rekindle the fire of apostolic faith in me in the Name of Jesus.
