Rescued and Restored by God
“We have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. 2 Corinthians 5:16”
Acts 10:28 says, “God has shown me that he doesn’t think anyone is unclean or unfit.”
But the guy in the cubicle next to you makes racist jokes. Doesn’t he notice that your skin is black?
He has a rebel flag as a screen saver. Your great-grandfather was a slave. You’d love nothing more than to distance yourself from this guy.
Consider being the superintendent of an orphanage. You come across a birth certificate with a troubling word: illegitimate. And you learn it is a permanent label. It’s what Edna Gladney discovered. Can you imagine living with such a label? Mrs. Gladney couldn’t. It took her three years, but in 1936 she successfully lobbied the Texas legislature to remove the term from birth certificates.
Let’s view people differently. Let’s view them as we do ourselves.
Blemished, perhaps. Unfinished, for certain!
Yet once rescued and restored—we may shed light!
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

The law of the Spirit that brings life made me free from the law that brings sin and death

The law of the Spirit that brings life made me free from the law that brings sin and death
Romans 8:3
The cross did what sacrificed lambs could not do. It erased our sins, not for a year, but for eternity. The cross did what man could not do. It granted us the right to talk with, love, and even live with God.
You can’t do that by yourself. I don’t care how many worship services you attend or good deeds you do, your goodness is insufficient . . . That’s why we need a saviour.
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

There is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, and His Name is Jesus.
Proverbs 18:24b
In this world, we all have friends – people we relate with, talk with, share with, pray and play with, and whose company we enjoy. But even the best of friends may sometimes let you down or disappoint you in your hour of need; not because they want to, but because they may be unavailable, or not have the right words to say to you at the time. Then of course, it’s possible for them to get tired of your “Issues” and eventually give up on you, because they feel you aren’t going to change.
But there’s a friend that’ll never let you down. He’ll never disappoint, fail, or give up on you! He’s never tired of you, His Name is Jesus Christ! Those who know Jesus as a friend don’t seek the help or favour of men! What you need is to have a private, personal relationship with Him. And you don’t need to go looking for Him, for He lives in you! You can talk with Him, and He will talk to you. He is inside you, yet He is with you. He can talk to you inside you, and also talk to you from the outside! He’s the dearest friend you could ever have, and He has the wisdom and ability to see you through the most difficult situations.
The Bible says “…He (Jesus Christ) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” (Hebrew 7:25). He’ll go any length to help you. He already proved it through His death for you on the cross. He’ll never give up on you or condemn you! Let Him be your closet friend; don’t be ashamed to identify yourself with Him for He loves you exceedingly. He’ll never be ashamed of you and He will ALWAYS be there for you, even to the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). Start each day by saying “I love you today, Lord Jesus.” Develop that relationship with Him through His Word and the Holy Ghost! Amen!
Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, You’re the dearest friend I could ever know. No one can love me, believe in me and care for me the way You do! You’re my best friend and the object of my deepest affection. I love You with all of my heart, and desire to know and love You more and more each day. Thank You for being my Lord, Master, and Friend! Amen!
May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him
He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him (Ecclesiastes 10:8)
Every one of God’s children has a hedge of protection around them; put there by God Himself, whether they know it or not. It is important to know that you are the only one who can break this hedge of protection and allow the enemy access into your life. In the opening Scripture, we read that the one who breaks the hedge has opened the way for the serpent to bite him and the serpent is symbolic of the devil. You must realize that the devil has no right and no business pulling his strings in your life; however, if you break the hedge, then you leave yourself exposed.
So, how can one break the hedge? Through speaking negative words, contrary to God’s Word. This was what happened to Job in the Bible. Reading on the surface, you may think that job suffered the entire calamity he did merely as a trial of his faith. However, Job was the one who opened the way for the enemy to attack him. The devil himself knew Job was protected and that’s why he asked God, “Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?” (Job 1:10). But what was Job’s testimony? He said, “I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came” (Job 3:25). How could Job talk that way when even the devil knew he was protected? Because of his ignorance of the hedge.
You’re the architect of your own blessing or danger. You have the power to create your own danger, so speak only those words that will keep the hedge in its place. Speak words of faith; declare all that God has said about you, irrespective of what the circumstances show you. Remember that the devil can have no access into your life, except you let him.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your hedge of protection around me. I recognize that there are angels all around me, and that your anointing has distinguished me from all evil. I walk in dominion and victory every day of my life, reigning and winning, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
May Our God The Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all our enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Knowing the truth about debt is the first step towards financial freedom
| A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22).
Financially speaking, there are three kinds of people: the haves, the have-nots, and those who have not paid for what they have! Debt has become a way of life in the American landscape. The average American household spends at least 20 percent of their net income on consumer debt. We must understand that when debt rules, debt ruins. Proverbs 22:7 says: “The borrower becomes the lender’s slave.” Debt controls your life, so it puts you in a kind of slavery. There are several reasons for debt: ignorance, indulgence, poor planning, and emergencies. All these things can contribute to the snowball of debt. But I believe that God provides a way for us to live without being controlled by our debt. Debt is owing something you cannot pay, and that kind of debt should be abnormal for the Christian because it is outside God’s will. Debt is first and foremost a spiritual issue—we are in debt because we have refused to obey God. Psalm 37:21 says:“The wicked borrows and does not pay back.” Ecclesiastes 5:5 says: “It is better that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay.”But also: “The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow” (Deuteronomy 28:12). We can be set free from the tyranny of debt, and there are four steps that can help us: plant, plan, prioritize, and pray. Knowing the truth about debt is the first step toward financial freedom. May God Almighty prosper Nigeria and Israel and defend us from all their enemies in Jesus Christ Name, Amen! |
