Do Not Be afraid, Only Believe
English: 4 days of Evangelism Training in Southern California provided by LivingWaters Ministry. Obeying the great commission of Jesus Christ. “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone” Mark 16:15 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Do Not Be afraid, Only Believe
Mark 5:36 – “As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He
said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only
believe”
Jesus speaks these words to Jairus, one of the leaders of the
synagogue, to build his faith so that He could raise his daughter
from the dead. Today, Christians are bombarded with new prayer
and faith techniques in thousands of books, CD’s, and videos and
all Jesus is saying is “only believe”. Religion complicates the
simplicity of the Gospel. Jesus is looking to show Himself strong
on your behalf if you will “only believe!”
May GOD bless Nigeria, America and Israel and take care of us; May GOD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray!

All of God’s power is wrapped up in the Gospel
All of God’s power is wrapped up in the Gospel
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…..(Romans 1:16)
Our Lord Jesus Christ told us to preach the gospel which is the “Good News” of what His death, burial and resurrection accomplished for humanity. The gospel is more than a nice moralistic story of what God’s Son did for humanity. According to the bible, the gospel is in itself the power of God unto salvation. The Word “Salvation” is the all-encompassing word that describes the totality of the good work God has wrought for us. This means that the totality of God’s power to do anything for any man is fully resident in the Gospel. It is this power that turns sinners into saints in a moment of time.
It doesn’t matter what need a man might have, the solution is in the Gospel. All you need to come out trouble or any precarious situation is to hear and receive the Gospel of Christ Jesus as pertains to your situation. For example, the Gospel to the one who is broke and in debt is that he has an inheritance in Christ Jesus and so he has no business living in lack. As soon as he receives that Word and endorses it, that’ll be the end of his poverty.
The Gospel to the one who is sick is that divine health has been made available through Christ Jesus. As soon as he receives it, it will be impossible for sickness and disease to hold him down. No matter the situation in which you find yourself, the solution is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Thus if you’re reading this today and you’re not yet saved, what you need is to believe in your heart, and declare with your mouth that Jesus is the Lord of your life from this day forward! Ask Him to come live in you and make your heart the place of His abode. When you do this, God’s power will begin to work in you and you’ll be awakened to the fatherhood of God. You’ll become a brand new species of being that never existed before (2 Corinthians 5:17)! That’s the power of the Gospel!
Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me the awesome power that’s wrapped up in the Gospel. I thank You for making the provisions of the Gospel available to me such that I can direct your power at any situation I desire to change, in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
—Psalm 14:1
READ: Luke 12:16-21
It seems to me rather contradictory that Jesus, who was so gentle at times (Matt. 19:13-15), would call some people fools. Yet, as recorded in the Gospels a number of times, our Lord used this derogatory term to describe those He spoke about—especially the Pharisees (see Matt. 23:17-19; Luke 11:39-40).
Jesus also used the word fool in a parable after warning a man about coveting (Luke 12:13-21). What made him foolish is not the fact that he built bigger barns to store his abundant harvest (vv.16-18). It would have been more foolish of him to leave it out in the fields where inclement weather would spoil it. Nor was he foolish because of his thought that this unexpected windfall was enough to last him a long time (v.19). After all, we are urged to follow the example of the ant in “storing up” the harvest (Prov. 6:6-8).
What made the man foolish? He left God out of the picture. He was called a fool because he failed to realize that his life was in God’s hands. While he was planning carefully for his comfortable life on earth, he failed to plan for eternity and store up treasures in heaven (Matt. 6:20).
Does your plan for the future have God in it? You won’t want to be called foolish by Him in the end. —C. P. Hia

It is time for the Church to be about the Father’s business… it’s time for us to go further
It is time for the Church to be about the Father‘s business… it’s time for us to go further
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on his rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Matthew 16:18
Did you know that the Church is to confront demons of darkness wherever we find them? We are to cast them out in the name of Jesus as a sign to unbelievers! This may sound radical to you but it is not-it is what Christ Jesus said we would do!
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name they cast out devils” (Mark 16:17). The Church has been slothful in deliverance. We have been lazy, for we don’t want to pay the price to live holy lives, we do not study the Word of God the way we ought to, we do not spend the time before God’s presence as we should and we do not exercise our authority as we are directed to do. So as a Church how can we know the Father’s heart?
As believers our lives and actions are to testify that we belong to Christ Jesus. We are to spread the Word of God, cast out demons, set the captives free, take care of the needy and poor, and demonstrate the love of God continually.
It is time for the Church to be about the Father’s business… it’s time for us to go further.

Keeping God’s Words
Keeping God‘s Words
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let
them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine
heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to
all their flesh
Proverbs 4:20-22
Notice the order in this passage. The psalmist says, “Attend to my
words, incline thine ear unto my sayings, and let them not depart from
thine eyes.” When you do those three things—attend, incline, and let
them not depart from your eyes—you receive revelation. But, if you do
the fourth thing-keep them in the midst of thy heart-you keep
revelation.
He gives you this fourth admonition before He talks about the Word of God being life to you. Why? Although you have a revelation to start the
process, you also need a revelation to end the process. So God says,
“Keep my words planted in the middle of your heart. Don’t let the devil
come and uproot the Word out of your heart.”
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Judge not, that you be not judged
4 days of Evangelism Training in Southern California provided by LivingWaters Ministry. Obeying the great commission of Jesus Christ. "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone" Mark 16:15 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Judge not, that ye be not judged
There are many examples of people judging others in the scriptures. Paul prayed that our love would abound more and more in all judgment (Phil. 1:9). In light of the scriptures where Jesus and the disciples spoke of judging, it is evident that there must be a right and a wrong type of judging.
In Luke 12:56-57, Jesus uses the words “discern” and “judge” interchangeably. A dictionary definition of “judge” can mean many things from “condemn” to “appraise, to form an opinion about; to think or consider.” There is certainly nothing wrong with discerning or appraising a situation or person. Quite the contrary, we need to try the spirits (1 Jn. 4:1). Judging when done as discernment, is good.
It is the condemning type of judgment that is wrong. We can defer passing sentence on people to God, and know that He will make a perfect judgment (Rom. 2:2, Rev. 20:13). God is ultimately the only qualified judge.
Jesus is not forbidding judgment, but rather He is warning to be careful with our judgment because we will be judged accordingly. There are certain cases where we have to pass a condemning sentence as Paul did or as a judge would do today. Pastors and elders are charged with rebuking and even disciplining church members, but it is not something to be done lightly. Judging is not aimed at the person, but the actions of that person. This warning constrains us to be certain that we have heard from God. We must not simply vent our own frustrations.
Every Christian has a need for wisdom in making judgments about how to live from day to day. How wonderful to know that God through His Word has already equipped us to judge.
May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
