Beloved, let us love one another: For love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not knows not God; for God is love

BELOVED, LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER: FOR LOVE IS OF GOD; AND
EVERYONE THAT LOVES IS BORN OF GOD, AND KNOWS GOD. HE THAT LOVES NOT KNOWS NOT
GOD; FOR GOD IS LOVE (1 JAMES 4:7-8)

The Lord Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?”
and He insisted on a respond each time (John 21:15-17). Though Jesus knew Peter
loved Him, He wanted him to say it. In Matthew 17:5, God the Father, spoke from
heaven of His love for Jesus. You see, God doesn’t only love, He talks it too.

Some people find it difficult to say, “I love you.” Some
parents find it difficult to say to their children, “I love you.” “My kids know
I love them”, they’ll say. If you ask them how they came about that conclusion,
their response may be, “I feed, house and educate them; so they ought to know I
love them.”

Well, that’s not good enough. Convicts in prisons are fed,
housed and even clothed and it’s not that the government loves them; rather,
it’s out of their responsibility. “I love you” is part of the love-language in
the Kingdom of God. Therefore, as God’s child, you must train yourself not only
to demonstrate love through your actions; but also speak its language.

When Christ fills your life, it will become easy for you to
talk love. The Bible tells us that God sent Jesus because He loved you and not
that you were very nice and kind (Romans 5:8). You’re a product of love. When
you begin to think this way, you’ll see others through the eyes of love; you’ll
see them the way God sees them, as valuable and priceless. You’ll also learn to
say, “l love you” not out of weakness, but out of the understanding that love
is the greatest power in the universe. Make up your mind to speak the language
of love always. Even if you were treated badly or spoken to in an
uncomplimentary way, refuse to respond with harsh or bitter words. Remember
that “……the love of God is shed abroad in
our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”
(Romans 5:5). You are
a love-child of a love-God, therefore, let your words be full of love.

CONFESSION

The love of God has been deposited in my heart by the Holy
Ghost, and I walk in love every day of my life. I refuse to walk in malice,
anger and bitterness. I am a love-child of a love-God. Amen!

Faith, Hope and Love

And now abideth faith, hope, love,
these three, but the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Faith, Hope
and Love are the three creative principles of the human spirit. They are also
abiding principles, as indicated in our opening verse. This means that when all
else fail, these tree principles will remain; they’ll never pass away.

Animals
don’t have and can’t exhibit these principles, for they are qualities of the
human spirit. They are factors that help us understand and appreciate the
yearnings of the human nature. They help explain why we are the way we are, and
why we do things the way we do. When you get to understand faith, hope, and
love, you’ll understand yourself much better and also understand things about
God that you never knew.

Like all
laws, these three principles of faith, hope, and love don’t function on their
own; they must be applied or acted upon. Faith, hope and love are in your
spirit, but that doesn’t mean they are going to work on their own. You’re the
one to make a choice to act your faith, to always be hopeful towards God and to
walk in love.

With your
faith, you can do anything (Matthew 17:20): then, Romans 5:5 tells us, that
hope never disappoints.

The reason
hope doesn’t disappoints is that the love of God is shed abroad in our heart by
the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). Love in your heart gives life to your faith, for
the Bible says faith works by Love (Galatians 5:6). When you activate these
three principles in your life, you’ll be extraordinarily productive.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for granting
me understanding of faith, hope and love; I function today with these higher
principles of the kingdom, and declare that they’re producing positive
supernatural results as I put them to work
in my life, in Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Share God’s around

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (Romans 5:5)

The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:8 that “God is love“; His very nature is love, and you have His love-nature in you as one who’s born again. That means all of God‘s love is in your spirit, so you can’t have more of God’s love than you already have today. According to our opening scripture; “….the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5:5). The question then is what are you going to do with all of this love that’s in your heart?

John 3:16 gives us an example of what to do with the love of God, it says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son….” God so loved us and reached out to us even at a time when we didn’t know Him or care about Him! He sent Jesus to win us and reconcile us to Himself, not counting our sins against us. He did this for us in Christ Jesus.

And now the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:19 that God has committed to us the ministry of reconciliation. We have the responsibility of reconciling others to Him. We’re to reach out to our world; to the hurting and the loveless that have no hope and give them the love of God that’s in our hearts.

But to do this you need to be filled with the spirit; you actually can’t share God’s love except you’re filled with the spirit. So if you haven’t received the Holy Spirit, you can do so even now. Say this in faith: “Heavenly Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I receive the Holy Spirit into my heart to live in me, to help me share your love to others, Amen!”. The Holy Spirit is the One that energizes you to do the work of God and share His love with others.

PRAYERS

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love that’s in my heart; it’s the same great love wherewith You’ve loved me! I make a difference in my world today as I touch everyone I meet with Your love. The world will see and acknowledge your love in my life to the glory and praise of Your Holy Name, in Christ Jesus’s Name. Amen!
