Our GOD Is A GOD Of “If”
2-Chronicles_7-14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land
Matthew_17-20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you
Mark_9-23-1: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Deuteronomy 28:1-19
The Blessings of Obedience
“If you obey the Lord your God and faithfully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, he will make you greater than any other nation on earth.
2 Obey the Lord your God and all these blessings will be yours:
3 “The Lord will bless your towns and your fields.
4 “The Lord will bless you with many children, with abundant crops, and with many cattle and sheep.
5 “The Lord will bless your grain crops and the food you prepare from them.
6 “The Lord will bless everything you do.
7 “The Lord will defeat your enemies when they attack you. They will attack from one direction, but they will run from you in all directions.
8 “The Lord your God will bless your work and fill your barns with grain. He will bless you in the land that he is giving you.
9 “If you obey the Lord your God and do everything he commands, he will make you his own people, as he has promised.
10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that the Lord has chosen you to be his own people, and they will be afraid of you.
11 The Lord will give you many children, many cattle, and abundant crops in the land that he promised your ancestors to give you.
12 He will send rain in season from his rich storehouse in the sky and bless all your work, so that you will lend to many nations, but you will not have to borrow from any.
13 The Lord your God will make you the leader among the nations and not a follower; you will always prosper and never fail if you obey faithfully all his commands that I am giving you today.
14 But you must never disobey them in any way, or worship and serve other gods.
The Consequences of Disobedience.
15 “But if you disobey the Lord your God and do not faithfully keep all his commands and laws that I am giving you today, all these evil things will happen to you:
16 “The Lord will curse your towns and your fields.
17 “The Lord will curse your grain crops and the food you prepare from them.
18 “The Lord will curse you by giving you only a few children, poor crops, and few cattle and sheep.
19 “The Lord will curse everything you do.
Sermon:
“If” a two letter word, very powerful in determining our destinies!
Our God Jehovah is A very Highly Principled God, He is faithful in keeping all His promises to us His children. GOD own no man. He is Faithful and Just!
The word ‘if’ is fascinating. It appeared in the bible 1,521 times. It is one of the most important words in the Bible because it speaks directly to our responsibilities to God. Most promises in the Bible have conditions and the word ‘if’ speaks to those conditions. Our responses to God’s commands affect our relationship with Him and determine our receiving from Him.
The word “If” speaks of God’s desire to have partnership with his people. The word “If” when spoken by God says to His children simply means: “I’ve done my part, you do your own part and together we’ll make something beautiful and miraculous happen. We’ll work together to make earth look a little more like heaven.”
“If” invites us into partnership with God to achieve His kingdom purposes on earth.
Jesus used the word ‘if’ all the time. Almost half of the 574 occurrences in the New Testament are in the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John). Jesus always put the word ‘if’ on man’s side and never on God’s side.
The word “If” in the bible calls for action. It tells us that our actions matter and that they have consequences.
The word “If” in the bible empowers us to shape our history. We can change things. We don’t have to be victims. We are not helpless.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
Romans 10:9 (Secret Of Eternal Life)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
