Morning Prayer

Lord, I am so grateful to be your child. I choose to receive the grace that comes from following you. Thank you for the miracle of new life you have begun in me. Thank you for your desire to bless me. Help me to find my treasure in you. Lord, you are the Good Shepherd. You love me and search for me with diligence and fidelity. You bestow mercy in superabundance. Come to me, pick me up, place me on your shoulders, and carry me. Come and fill my heart so that I may recognize what you are offering me. Lift me up to see the truth of your power and mercy and plan for me. May I trust you enough to stop running from you and hiding from your gentle voice. May your acts of mercy be reward enough and become a source and foundation of my holiness of life. Holy Spirit, I delight in your unique call to me. I choose to follow you and to receive the grace that comes from surrendering to you. Help me to remain with you by holding on to the truth. Help me to focus on you and receive the deep contentment of knowing you. Take me by hand, and lead me through the open doors in the Mighty Name Of Jesus Christ AMEN

Thank You for allowing us to witness another great day full of YOUR blessings, joy, happiness, and above all, love.

As we start a new day, we pray for everyone who reads this. We ask for forgiveness and mercies in our lives. We pray that You give us strength, wisdom, and courage to overcome the challenges of today’s activities.

Fill us with Your Divine wisdom. We pray for financial, physical, and spiritual blessings in our lives. We continue to pray that You protect and show us mercies in our lives, for we can’t do anything without Your Divine mercy.

Thank you, Lord, for creating me and delighting in me. Thank you for all the grace and blessing in my life. Thank you for surrounding me and holding me in your arms. I long to worship you and to receive the spiritual and physical refreshment you want to give me. Open my eyes to see your presence with me today. Come and dwell within me so that I can give you glory. Lord, you speak to me each and every day. You are constantly revealing to me your most holy will for my life. Help me to always recognize your gentle voice so that I can be led by you through the challenges of life. May my life of prayer become so deep and sustaining that your voice always echoes within my heart and soul. Holy Spirit, your word is life to me, and because of it, I am blessed. A KISS OF FIRE

“And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.” – (Exodus 19:18)

READ: EXODUS 3:2-6 (KJV)

2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

MESSAGE:

The lips are a very sensitive part of the human body. In Isaiah 6:6-7, when the angel wanted to help Isaiah, he put a coal of fire on his lips. Even though that must have been very painful considering how sensitive the lips are, the experience ensured that Isaiah became a changed person.

Nothing touches fire and remains the same. In Acts 2:1-14, Peter stood boldly to address and preach to a large crowd of people after the Holy Ghost had descended on the Upper Room congregation like cloven tongues of fire. This was the same Peter that denied Jesus three times out of fear. From the day a believer gets a kiss of fire, everything about him or her changes completely; the impact of the fire will abide with him or her forever.

When you see someone who is always ready to do the will of Christ and go all out for Him, that fellow has been kissed by fire. This is why after Isaiah received that kiss of fire, all he could hear was God saying, “Whom shall we send, who will go for us?” and his response was, “Lord, send me” (Isaiah 6:1-8). When you are kissed by fire, you will begin to hear the heartbeat of God concerning the nations of the world, and your response will be, “Lord, send me anywhere to do your work, and I will go.”

Paul did God’s work with great zeal. That zeal came upon him in Acts 9:3-6 when Jesus appeared to him in a great light on his way to Damascus. That light was not from an electric bulb; it was from the fire of God, and the moment Paul’s body touched it, he was kissed by fire and was changed forever. From that moment, he went to every length to do the will of God.

The reason many Christians find it difficult to do great exploits for God is that they have not been kissed by fire. Some of them want to serve God in greater capacities, but they lack the required zeal because they have not been kissed by fire. If you are a pastor, and you want to have an army that is willing to join you in doing great exploits for the kingdom, pray for them to be kissed by fire. The moment they are kissed by fire, the zeal of the Lord will take over their hearts and all they will long for is to do His will at all times.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, please give me a kiss of fire today, in Jesus’ name.

Morning Prayer: Surrendering to God’s Goodness

Dear Heavenly Father!

Everything I am and have and do flows from your goodness. I rejoice that I belong to you. I praise you because you can do all things. I thank you for the privilege of walking with you every day.

I offer you my heart, my mind, and my will. Take all my desires. Bless them and multiply them for the good of your kingdom. Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you are more than I know. Show me how to fix my affections on you and receive the deep contentment of knowing you.

I want to follow you LORD all the way. I put my trust in you and in your saving power. I am sorry for the times I have faltered or given up as I try to follow you. Give me the grace to follow you always, no matter the cost.

Show me how to remain open to all the blessings you want to pour on me today. Holy Spirit, I need more of you today. Give me a bigger vision of you and your power to transform. Pour your grace into my heart so that I may bless you at all times.

Husbands, you’re Not the Source of Your Wife’s Unhappiness

Most husbands are not the source of their wives unhappiness.

Many men are not the source of their wives’ unhappiness.

You know, there are things that you will try as a man, to try and please your wife, but after some time, you realize that you are not the source of that unhappiness because you can never do anything right that pleases your wife. So be in herself and within herself there are some internal struggles that she is having and those internal struggles you can’t fix them, because she needs to make a choice on whether she needs to move on from certain struggles that are keeping her behind.

You are not the source of your wife’s unhappiness.

Don’t blame yourself, don’t ever do that, because once you blame yourself, you will try everything, to try and correct that unhappiness of your wife and after some time you get tired and realize that you are not the source.

So, from the start you are not the cause of your wife unhappiness, she needs to take charge of her own unhappiness so that she can live better within the union.

Unity in the Body of Christ: A Prayer for Oneness

John 17:21

21. I want all of them to be one with each other, just as I am one with you and you are one with me. I also want them to be one with us. Then the people of this world will believe that you sent me.[CEV]

INSPIRATION

(That they all may be one).

Jesus prayed this prayer of unity for HIS disciples towards the end of HIS ministry on earth. Being the Son of GOD, HE has seen what will happen to the Gospel in the future due to disunity, and that without unity among believers, the Gospel will suffer setbacks and adulteration, which is what is happening today in the body of Christ.

The reason for this prayer was manifested in 1 Corinthians 3:4-6 where Paul was chastising the people of Corinthians concerning disunity among them. One group claim to belong to Apollos and the other to Paul, causing confusion in the body of Christ.

Today, we are witnesses to the happenings in the body of Christ among believers. Every denomination claim to be better than the other and as such never have anything to do with the other denominations or ministries. If the Church of Christ can unite together as one, and fight that monsters called discrimination and disunity, the world will be a better place for us, and the enemies shall kiss the canvas for the expansion of the kingdom to the glory of GOD.

Prayer for the day:

Blessed be Your Holy name oh! LORD for Your love and mercy upon us by bringing us into another beautiful day, clothing us with grace, good health and safety, be magnified.

FATHER, I pray for unity in the body of Christ (the Church), in our families, communities, kindred and the nation in general. That we should all come together as one and recognize the anointing and assignments You’ve bestowed upon each individual, and yet respect one another and still be a blessing to our generation.

Dear LORD, that we can disagree in things that ought to be disagreed on, and agree on all things pertaining to godliness, so that we will continue to walk in love, respect,  and honor one another to the glory of GOD and edification of the Church. That through us, the world will know You, the only true GOD. Bless the works of our hands today and lead us in the path of righteousness, thank You FATHER for another prayer answered, in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ! Amen.
