The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’

Psalm 14:1

Saying yes to your miracle might mean stepping out in faith and risking looking
foolish. What if you fail? What will people say about you? What will they think?
We put limits on ourselves and we remain stuck. We are afraid to take the step
of faith to say yes to the miracle because of what people will say.

When we at the ministry decided to file a Jeremiah 29:11 plan in the courts – a
plan for a miracle rather than a business plan as they were used to getting – we
risked looking foolish as a ministry.

What would people think if God did not give us a miracle? What would they think
of us? Would they think we were non-intellectuals? Stupid? Would we lose integrity?

What would they think of God? Were we risking His reputation as well as our own?

“God doesn’t need you or me to worry about His reputation. He can handle that on His own.”

Yet, that is exactly what I worried about when years ago I asked the children at
our academy pray for Mariah, a little girl with brain cancer. That’s exactly what
I worried about when she didn’t get well and it appeared she had lost the fight.
But God had the last word and it was good. Mariah was healed and the children had
the opportunity to participate in a miracle.

Say yes to your miracle. Step out in faith – even if it means risking our reputation
– even it means you might look foolish. Be a fool – for God!

PRAYER:

Lord, give me the courage and the faith I need to be all and only for You. Help
me with my unbelief. I would rather be a fool for You than be a fool without You.
Amen.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. Pray for the happiness of those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you

Luke 6:27-28

God is love.

Loving By Faith

An attorney came to me with that familiar problem: a business partner he could not tolerate. The two men actually hated each other, criticizing and demeaning one another at every opportunity. Rather than speaking of God‘s desires for that relationship, each man focused only on the unlovable traits of the other.

I reminded my friend, a new believer, that God’s Word commands us to love our enemies. I further suggested that he go to that other man, tell him he loved him, and ask his forgiveness for the way he had treated him. The attorney’s eyes grew wide. “I could never love him,” he said.

But in the end, he went in faith, confessed his lack of love for his partner, and asked for forgiveness. The partner was astounded. Nobody had ever come to him with such an attitude. He wanted to know how he could experience the kind of life my attorney friend had.

My friend led him to Christ, and they both came to share with me the miracle that God had performed in their lives. As a result, God created a deep and satisfying friendship between the two men. They began to experience God’s supernatural love individually and as a true partnership.

We are saved through faith, by God’s grace. We live by faith. We serve by faith. And we love by faith. You will be surprised and delighted to see what God will do in you when you choose to love people by an act of faith.

Your View of God Really Matters …

This very moment, think of that person who seems so difficult to love. Ask God to help you see that person as He sees him or her. Then step out in faith and take action, based on the right relationship you have claimed in the name and the truth of God.

What More Does God Say?

A Love Burst

A Love burst

“Jesus said to the paralyzed man, ‘I tell you, stand up, take your mat, and go home.’ …The people were amazed and praised God, saying ‘We have never seen anything like this!’ Mark 2:12”

Love bursts! Spontaneous affection. Tender moments of radiant love. Ignited devotion. Explosions of tenderness.

Here’s what I mean. The women you’re standing with at the party start complaining about their spouse, but you look across the room at your husband and smile. Still as handsome as when you met—a bit paunchier, but you don’t see that. All you see is the man who stole your heart.

That’s a loveburst!

When friends of a paralyzed man heard Jesus was in town, they hurried to get their friend to Him. It was his only hope! But Jesus was surrounded—packed into a crowded house. No way they could get inside. Unless, of course, they lowered him through the roof! It was risky. But it was their only chance to see Jesus! The gospel says, “When Jesus saw the faith of these people, he said to the paralyzed man, ‘Young man, your sins are forgiven.’”

Jesus applauds—not with his hands—but with his heart!

And we witness a divine loveburst!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

The Heartbeat of Jesus

The Heartbeat of Jesus

Father, I want those you have given me to . . . see . . . the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

John 17:24, NIV

Before the foundation of the world was laid, God, in His divine sovereignty, planned to send His own Son to the cross to be our Saviour. Before the beginning of time and space and human history, He took counsel with Himself and decided to bring us into existence, knowing full well that we would rebel against Him and become separated from Him by our sin. So He made preparations for our redemption-preparations that were finished once and for all time at the cross.

The heartbeat of Jesus was to finish His Father’s plan and, in so doing, bring glory to God. In other words, through His own death on the cross, Jesus would reveal the love of God in such a way that people throughout the ages would praise Him and love Him and lay down their lives before Him. So He embraced the cross and all that it meant.

Blessings

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God’s Good Will

God‘s Good Will

For this is good [beautiful] and acceptable in the sight of God our
Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the
knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:3-4

Notice two things about the will of God. First, it is His will that all
men be delivered, healed, preserved, made sound, made whole and come
into the full complete, total, discernment knowledge of the truth. The
love of God’s heart is to get people saved and their eyes opened, to
give them the real truth in a world full of error and darkness.

Every born again person is tasked with proclaiming this message. Your
job is to proclaim the Lord and to educate and disciple people in the
truth so that they can turn around and share with you. If you are in a
church that doesn’t evangelize and disciple people-if you are in a
church that has a lot of religious activity but has lost its love for
witnessing, teaching, and praying-you need to find another church.

Prayer for Today

Father,
I magnify Your name for Your strong, amazing love! Thank You for paying
the price for my healing and wholeness. Thank You for Your light and
truth that pierces all darkness. In Jesus Christ Name! Amen!

We Are Helpless Without God

Helpless Without God

“I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”

John 5:30, NKJV

Have you wondered, in agony, why God is doing what He’s doing? Why He has delayed answering your prayer? Have you reacted to the delay by trying to help Him out and speed things up? Have you turned to . . . a doctor, a lawyer, a counsellor, a friend, pop psychology, a neighbour’s sympathetic ear, or a popular TV talk show? Have you resorted to threats

or bargaining or manipulation until you’re totally exhausted? Have you come to the absolute end of your rope?

One reason God may be delaying His answer to your prayer and postponing His intervention in your situation is to bring you to the end of your own resources. Sometimes God waits in order to allow us time to exhaust every other avenue of help until we finally realize without any doubt or reservation that we are totally helpless without Him.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Being faithful in the little things first

Being faithful in the little things first.

Matthew 25:23 “His Lord said to him “Well done good and faithful servant, you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”

Sometimes we get so focused on doing great and mighty things for God that we forget about being faithful in the little things. Our faith grows as we serve in the little things and that prepares us for the bigger things God has for us. He is watching and if you are faithful in doing good and doing it with a pure and excellent heart, God will reward you in due season. Remember that God has placed you where ever you are now, for a season. I want to encourage you today to stay hopeful, do not get discouraged in doing good and always stay faithful in the little things.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you

James 4:7 says: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Fear comes from the devil. On the flip side blessing, increase, promotion, success, and breakthroughs come from God. I encourage you to resist fear. Resist its dominion over your thoughts, words, and actions because God says that when you resist fear (a manifestation of the devil), it will flee.

Make fear flee!

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God Takes Pleasure In Meeting Our Needs

God Takes Pleasure In Meeting Our Needs

Matthew 7:11, “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

MATTHEW 7: 9-11

What kind of parent would ever deny their children, the necessities of life? If you have children would you fail to feed them? Or provide for them? Or if they ask you for food would you give them poison instead? Of, course not. This is the point Jesus is making.

God is love (1 Jn. 4:8)! And His love for us is infinitely greater than any loving relationship here on earth. We can apply this truth about God’s love for us to any command or example we find in God’s Word where His standards for relationship are revealed. Be assured that He will much more than meet those standards Himself.

This gives us confidence that, in the same way we respond in love to our children and to those who are in need, our God, who is love, will also respond to us. God is a faithful God, and He will always give us the things that we need.

Today, let the Lord be magnified in your life as Psalm 35:27 says, “Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” It pleases God to minister to you. Let God have pleasure today by meeting your needs. You have not, because you ask not (James 4:2). God wants you to ask so that you can receive (John 16:24). Believe God. He gets pleasure when you ask Him.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!

God is taking care of your finances!

A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy
God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the
end of the year

Deuteronomy 11:12

When Moses was talking to Israel about the promised land, He said, “The
eyes of the Lord are on your land.”

God has blessings for you on His mind! Today, God is saying to you, “My eyes
are on your finances. I’m looking at your checkbook just as much as you
are. I’m looking at your financial portfolio, and I see everything you
have. In fact, I’m more involved than you are. I’m working things out
to cause you to increase!”

As long as God’s eyes are on your financial situation, He’s got
blessings for you on His mind.

May the LORD bless Nigeria, American and Israel and take care of us; May the LORD make His face shine upon us, And be gracious to us; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us, And give us peace, In Jesus Christ Name, we pray! Amen!
